To fill my Doctor Who needs in the gap between The End of Time and The Eleventh Hour I researched everything I could about Doctor Who. I've been to the Tardis Wiki, the Doctor Who pages on the regular wiki, the TV Tropes Doctor Who page, and many other sites. I was quite geeky about it. When I get obsessed with something I have a compulsion to know everything there is to know about it. I even got so bored one day that I memorized all of the Doctor's companions in chronological order.
I have also been trying to watch every Doctor Who episode that still exists. I haven't gotten very far, because I do still - amazingly - have a life, but I have made good progress. I've seen everything from the 8th, 9th, and 10th Doctors' eras and at least one episode from every Doctor. YouTube is a wonderful thing.
