Erelafay did not take any offense at the short man's answer. It worthed the try. She answered politely "I do understand Sir." But her silver eyes cast a darker sideway shadow to the knight Jayger as he felt necessary to comment on it. Who do you think you are? she mentally hissed at him, but outside of her eyes, her face did not change expression and she stayed quiet.

When the enormous troll appeared, the drow looked up at it. A very unique creature indeed. To his question, she answered with a smile and a gesture to the short man and the dragon rider. "These two." She wondered what a troll was doing within the castle's walls, but assumed that he must have been part of the guard and was only doing his job in insuring that no one threatening for the king would enter.

Tilek's gaze centered on the two whom had been indicated by the drow. A grin spread across the troll's face as he recognized small fat man. A chuckle escaped from his lips before he spoke, "Ah I be seein', myself not da only one be bringin' down da outlaws." He returned his attention to the group, "I be imaginin' a bunch o' yer numberz 'ud have been bringin' down a whole lot o' dem baddies." His grin was still evident on his face as he spoke with his usual guttural growl before chuckling again. "'Ow many?"

Mee wistfully watched the wyvern fly away to Jayger-knows-where. She would have liked to stay with it for longer than the few minutes it had taken to get them into the castle. She gave a loud sigh that sounded more like a hiss than anything else. The rider just wasn’t as interesting without his wyvern. And though she had earlier resolved not to go where the wyvern wasn’t, she changed her mind as she heard a heavily accented voice address the group. Could it be another outlander?

A seemingly good natured…troll… had made himself known to the strange group of people, of which Mee was now a part. He chuckled, and then chuckled again as he made conversation with them, and Mee couldn’t help but smile in return, though it was hard to know when a Noomar was smiling, if you weren’t used to them and their ways. Mee hoped that her smile wouldn’t be mistaken for something…fiercer. Since she hadn’t really helped “bring down the baddies” she stood back to let the others answer the question, though she would have dearly loved to speak with the troll. She considered it a part of every good adventure (and the last few years of her life had definitely been an adventure) to learn of and speak to all the different kinds of beings out there. Her curiosity was interested and she wanted to learn more. The wyvern had left her mind for the moment. Oh, well. Sometimes Mee’s mind moved to fast for her to latch onto thoughts for too long.

((Very well Tigress, thank your for RPing))

Kayel was a little startled by the troll at first. He remembered meeting a small group a few years ago, one of which became a close friend of his.
"We caught this... bandit, I suppose, and his two companions after a brawl in the city's streets." Kayel glanced at his healed right forearm, where he had taken a wound during the fight. "This knight has brought us to the king for a reward." He spoke in his usually friendly, smiling manner, his grin widened as he remembered the chance of a reward.
Just then, one of the heavy oak doors to the chamber swung open. A man wearing half armour and carrying a sturdy shield and sword, entered the room, followed by two more guards wearing full plate mail. He stepped aside from the door and announced "His royal majesty, the king Jerred Arreloth, the second."
A tall man, dressed in a rich robe entered after him.
"There really is no need for that Nathaniel." He said waving at the announcer.
"Of course, your majesty." He replied
Kayel stood more upright and faced the king, studying him with keen interest, his blue and yellow eyes darting rapidly. Jerred Arreloth was in his late forties, with dark hair that was flaking with grey. The lines of his face showed he had lived a life full of various emotions and the smile he wore now was warm, and his eyes, sincere. He was a skinny man, unlike some of the wealthy men Kayel had encountered in his travels, and the only display of his wealth he showed, other than his robe, were his crown, the royal amulet that hung from his thin neck, and the large golden ring with a massive ruby embedded into it, the seal of the royal house.
"Please, do not trouble yourselves by bowing or getting to your knees, the floor of this room is not always warm or comfortable." His voices was clear and, even at a low volume, carried a commanding element, which awed Kayel a little. "Ah!" The king exclaimed, sighting the prisoner that Jayger had brought. "You have been a thorn in my side for too long, Daniel Black-Tongue."
With this, the prisoner threw himself to his feet, his entire body began to shiver.
"Please, my lord!" He wailed. "If I had-"
"Silence!" Bellowed the king, making Kayel jump as he did so. Although the king lacked strength of limb and prowess with a weapon, his voice was powerful. "Nathaniel, take him away and have him taken care of."
It wasn't difficult to know exactly what was install for the prisoner. Daniel Black-Tongue was a bandit, caught in the act of attempted murder. His criminal actions could only lead to one outcome.

Jayger

As the king came into the room Jayger stepped out to face the knghts and the king. He bowed to the king and as he came up he gave a full salute.
"Your majesty." Jayger handed over the prisoner to Nathaniel, but after that he stood there, still as a statue, just like the other knights that had followed the king in. He may have said it wasn't necisarry, but being a knight it had been dtrilled into Jayger's head so much it was second nature. Jayger would stand at attention util ordered to step down or to stop.

"I'm sure you all know why you're here." Said the king. "So I'll save your time, and mine, by simply giving you your rewards. Aleck, would you bring me the chest I had the treasurer put aside."
"Of course, your majesty." Another of the guards left the room, returning with a small, ornate chest. He unlocked the lid and lifted it to reveal some sparkling gold coins.
"There's enough gold here for each of you to buy a new horse and a full suit of armour." Kayel's face lit up at the king's generosity. "I believe that those who try to make this city, and land, a better place, deserve a just reward. I have requested, that Aleck here, will find you comfortable quarters for you to stay and rest for tonight and tomorrow, if you wish, and the servants shall see to your every need. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some rather urgent business to attend to." With that, the king turned on his feet and left through the same door he'd entered, taking his guards with him. The knight that carried their gold was the only one that remained.
"Follow me, please." He re-locked the chest and led the group back towards the palace's entrance. Kayel was beginning to feel as if he was a sheep, being shepherded back and forth through the city.
"Here are your quarters, there's enough rooms for all of you and I shall summon servants to you shortly, one of which will equally dispense this gold." He rapped on the chest's lid, before heading back the way they'd come.
They were standing on a balcony, overlooking some of the castle's beautiful vegetation. There were many doors that opened onto the balcony, Kayel guessed they were the rooms the guard spoke of. The sun had fully set and the stars were beginning to appear. Kayel loved the sky and the stars, he'd wasted many hours just looking at them. He scanned the familiar display, recognising shapes and formations that some believed had special meanings and stories, but something Kayel had never seen before caught his eye. A dark shape was slowly travelling through the sky, lit it by its red, blazing tail. It was similar to a falling star except much bigger and it was travelling at an impossibly slow speed.
Amazing! He thought. I've never seen anything like that.

Tilek watched as the King departed from the room, one of the knights carrying the massive container of gold with him beginning to escort the group towards their room. He had refused the offer of gold which had been given to him for his feats, as he had single-handedly taken out a small group of bandits that had been plaguing a number of caravans for quite some time. Instead, Tilek had requested a number of plants and herbs which were unique to the Kingdom, and he carried them now in a satchel on his right hip. In his backpack were stored various parts of the brigands whom he had so easily crushed. He could perform a number of spells with the various herbs he had been given and the parts he had collected.
He followed the troupe as they passed through the halls and to the room which they would be allowed to stay in. Chuckling to himself, he noted that none of the beds were appropriate for one of his size; not that Tilek minded, he would much prefer to sleep on the balcony in the fresh air. He watched as the young boy separated himself from the group to stare up at the sky. Following him, Tilek stopped but a few feet behind the boy. "'Tis a beautiful sight, frien', da place o' da heavens. 'Dey say dat such is where da spirits be dwellin', but I know betta." He chuckled again, then noted what appeared to be a meteorite. Though it's beauty was appealing, a bad feeling suddenly rose inside of Tilek. "I not be likin' da look o' dat, it not be lookin' like no star."

Jayger

As the king left Jayger gave him another bow before moving from where he was.
"I would like to thank you one last time for your disposing of those criminals, and now ifyou will excuse me, I must return to my duties." Jayger gave the group a half bow and then walked off. He icked up a little speed and ran straight for a window. He placed his hand to his mouth and gave a unigue whislte, right before jumping out the window. As he fell down a roar could be heard and his wyvern swooped down past the window shortly after. It could then be seen flying back up into the sky with Jayger on it's back. Jayger flew p towards the top of on of the large towers in the castle, he bunked in the top of it with his dragon. As he rose towards it he caught a glimpse of something most picuelur. He pulled his dragong to a hault and floated there in the sky. What he saw was a red shooting star, unlike anything he had ever seen. "What is that?" he wondered to himself. Whatever it was, it gave Jayger and his wyvern an uneasy feeling.

Erelafay bowed at the king before he ordered them not to. He was the King and they owed him respect, Erelafay knew as much. Her eyes widened as she saw the gold. She smirked at how many people actually shared the award while only Kayel and herself had fought the bandits. She did not blame them for sizing their chance but she put a mental note that she could not trust any of those. None of them having had the courage to admit that they arrived afterwards. I feel rather sad for them... She took her part of the gold and bowed at the King as he left. "My Lord." she whispered, her silver eyes following the thin silhouette. She immediately liked the King. His manners, his voice, his eyes... She would serve him if he were to ask to. But who was she to hope for the King to request her help...

Erelafay's eyes brushed their quarters. If they were offered hospitality, it meant to there was more to it than a little bandit and an award. There was far too much gold for someone like Daniel Black-Tongue. She was taken off her thoughts by a presence. Under the moon, her magic was glowing in her eyes. Something was wrong.

The drow did not lose time she rushed out of their apartments and quickly found Nathaniel who had not disposed yet of the man. "Lord Nathaniel?!" she called. She arrived at his height and looked at the half armored man. "Please. I have one last question for the Bandit Daniel." Her silver eyes had a strange hint to them as she asked. She did not try to use her magic, nor her beauty to gain his consideration. She hoped that being one of the people who actually helped into the bandit being arrested, Nathaniel would grant her that favor.

Mee didn’t really care about the money. She was happy with what she had, and couldn’t really think of anything else she might like instead. She was, after all, still looking of a cause to apply herself to. Until she found one, she’d pretty much do as she wanted. Feeling bolder as she warmed up inside the castle, Mee decided to approach the troll. She decided that a polite question (one that she was just itching to ask) would not be misinterpreted as something offensive with the good natured being.

“’Scuze me, sah, but what pa’t of tha world ah ya from?” Only after she asked it did she realize that it wasn’t a fair question. After all, she couldn’t answer the question herself, as she had lived such a nomadic life. What would she say if she were asked? Not here? That wouldn’t be a very good or satisfactory answer, although it would be the best that she could give.

It was only a second after opening her mouth that Mee saw what the others were staring at. Her eyes widened. After so many years of traveling, so much had never happened in one day. To her, it looked neither good nor evil, only fascinating.

“What is tha’?”

Blade Tail steps into the room and unfolds his ears from the back of his neck. His fur then rustled up from the new found heat of the room, the purk of his ear relaxed with his fur as he took another step into the room.

He stood about five feet tall with his ears unfolded. He wore a blue robe with a white sash, his arms disrupted what would have been a slim figure from paw to paw if not tucked in his robe. His two sleeves hung lifeless and gentle swung to and from as he took a breath.

At this time he notice the others about the room. As not to be complety akward in his entrence, he attempted to find a smile only to get one side of his cheeks to respond from the cold. Though he thought he was smile, the right side of his nose had wrinkled while the other lay lifeless. With his muzzle off to one side it could be taken one of two ways, a half hearted smile... or a sneer.
