the starfox trio gain reflective shields that throw your attack back, they can zip from side to side, and their landmasters are exceedingly cheap, get caught standing on one and you get hit with a cheap KO.
cheap tricks are for those who dont know how to play balanced characters.
some of the other veterans dont have nearly as cheap moves. and ROB's final smash is nothing more than a short range lazer version of the curry.

I agree that the landmasters are extremely cheap, but the zippy things? Quite easy to dodge. And for the reflective shields? Go close range!
Experienced players know how to null the cheap tricks.

yeah, cant get close to falco, he throws his reflector s**t like a god damn yoyo.
I designed a level that denies access to landmasters too, specifically made so even the most skilled with a landmaster couldnt squeeze one in the tight holes. it's be like trying to fit a watermelon into a travelmug without cutting, juicing, or grinding it up, in other words, the level I designed, IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT A LANDMASTER IN THE HIGH COMBAT AREAS.
I figured if I could deny the use of a cheap trick, it might make the fight more fair for the more balanced characters.
also, I set walls so the PK starstorms wouldnt earn anyone a cheap KO from a lucky shot.
a huge, almost completely enclosed stage with little chance for cheap KOs to be scored, you gotta work HARD for them KOs. not like getting the code sheet for that 2nd grade test hard, I mean working 16 hour shift at your local arena as a vendor and getting a 2 hour ironman match with the most sadistic persona who actually hospitalizes his opponents regardless of how a match is supposed to be rigged one way or the other, and STILL have to take your lover to that fancy 5 star hotel and do the magic mambo 5 times so she can sleep at night hard work! despite the high possibility of any health disorders or injuries you may take during that shift!

So, tight corridors, as in, impossible for Lucas or Ness to perform their third jump? Makes me glad that Custom Stages aren't available over wifi :p Biatch.

Brian, you should give him a rematch. If you win again it means you are DOUBLE good. If you lose you have the right to call a rematch again. And THEN it will be exiting...

Oh, we'll be fighting again. And I'll be winning again. And again. And again. Then he'll probably remove me from his friend code list.
