"Hi Kat." Artemis smiled at her and then countinued "It's been great, I've been doin' loads of writing workshops and go-away camps. What about you? How was your summer?" Arte turned herself to face Kat more, her hair twirled and glimmered as she did.

Eliza nodded and put a hand up as a signal of goodbye, and turned to Connor. "She could have walked with us to the dorms." She shrugged, laughing, and began to follow Kat back toward the dorms. Once inside, she told Connor to wait downstairs for her while she ran to get her purse. She jogged up the stairs and took her keys out of her pocket on the way, ready for when she got to the door. Her purse was lying on the bed where she had left it, though she had planned to take it with her to orientation. She thought about this for a moment, but then shrugged it off and went back down to meet Connor and wait for Kat, and possibly wait for Reyna to return to the dorms to invite her along too. She sat on one of the big cushy couches in the lobby.

"Well, it is not too boring, is it?" Reyna stretched her arms, and smiled brightly at her friends. They all appeared to have fallen asleep. "Come on, wake up," Reyna laughed, nudging the one nearest to her. "Uh huh..." came the reply, then a turn of the body. Reyna rolled her eyes. Well, she could always live without them anyway. Leaving them behind, Reyna walked towards the entrance, and was soon merged into the wave of people leaving the gym.
Reyna was walking pass the entrance to the girl's dorm building, when she decided to take a book with her, afterall, she had never finished the one she was reading, and a good book always made for great companion. As Reyna walked through the lobby, she spotted Eliza on one of the larger couches, "Hi!"

"Well, it was pretty uneventful, untill three weeks ago when they told me and my mom that they found new evidence in his case, so I hope it will be for the better." She turned her head to check on Mouse and he was chasing his tail. She shook her head and then turned back. "Hey, me and Conner and Eliza are going to get smoothies, wanna come? I think they'll want to see you." Kat got up and went to the side of her bed to find her doggie carrier, then called Mouse over. "Here Mousey!" She said, and when her climbed in, she looked back to Arte.

"Hi!" She smiled brightly. "This is my friend Connor." She pointed a thumb in his direction and glanced at him. "He and I, and my other friend Kat are going to Walkers' for a smoothie or something. D'you want to come? We're just waiting for Kat to come back down. She went to give her dog medicine or something." She patted the couch seat on the side opposite Connor.

Connor took a seat at the couch and slid his calloused hands into his pockets. Seeing Reyna, he waited 'till he was introduced and inclined his head in greeting. As well, he removed his right hand from it's snug position in his pocket and held it in the air as another form of greeting. All the while, a polite but lopsided smile was etched unto his face. "Pleasure to meet ya'."

"Sure why not" Artemis said as got up and put up her last piece of clothing in her closet. "I've already finished my packing. So there's really not much to do." Artemis grabbed her long lacy black jacket that she like to wear around. She slipped it on "Whenever your ready."

"Sure," Reyna smiled, "I must say, I really miss the smoothies there. Those sold in the shops around my house are not even half as good." She turned to Conner opposite her, "Mine too," Reyna smiled broadly, shaking Connor's extended hand. Releasing his hand, Reyna sat down on the leather couch next to Eliza. Reyna leaned backwards, appreciating the transition from the hard plastic chairs in the gym to the soft cushions behind her back.

"We can go now, I think they're waiting down there for us. I just have to get a little something for Mouse." She bent over and grabbed Mouse's portable water bowl and and a plastic ziplock bag with treats in it, shoved them both in her purse, then grabbed Mouse's doggie bag, and looked up at Arte again. "Ready! Lets go." She walked towards the door and opened it, beckoning for Arte to go though first.

Keegan had decided not to go to orientation... he could get the low-down from his roommate later. He was finally done synchronizing his school schedule into his PDA. Closing the small plastic cover, he slipped it into his pocket and sighed. It was time to start putting away his clothes. Claiming the bed closest to the small window, he put his clothes into the dresser at the foot of his bed. Grudgingly he out a photo of his parents and placed it on top, next to come out was another picture, this one of his best friend back home. "Ahhh, George..." He sighed and finished with his decorating, walking to the bed and laying down.

"Okay!" she smiled a full smile, which was rare sight for her, though anyone in there right mind would know the difference in her fake smile and her full smile. She went ahead as Kat followed her to where she saw other poeple. She didn't like how big the crowd seemed, though kept on walking towards Connor her long hair had grown over the summer so, the only difference was she looked more like a woman than ever. She footsteps ever so soft that not even the finest ears could hear.

Eliza glanced over at Arte as she walked up. "Hey, long-time-no-see!" She waved a hand gently in her direction as Kat and Arte approached. "You coming with us, Arte? Let's go!" She stood and stretched a bit, pulling her arms behind her back and pushd down, her back cracking and then she rolled her shoulders. She bagan leading the goup out the door of the dorm lobby and headed up the road into the town just outside the school.

Connor stood and waved with the slightest inclination of his head toward Arte. Placing both of his hands back into his pockets, he followed after Mason with a content half-smile etched upon his mouth. It's nice to be back here. Yes, things were indeed pleasant over the summer, being basically alone and at peace with myself. But it's nothing compared to this, with everyone.

Kat smiled as she saw Conner and Eliza again, and then followed them with Arte walking next to her. She was glowing with excitement, school was her favorite part of the year. It was when she gets to see all of her friends again. Mouse barked a small bark, signaling to Kat that he wanted out to see Conner and, especially Eliza. Mouse absolutely adored Eliza. "Sorry, pal," She whispered quietly to Mouse, "I cant let you out just yet, but soon, though, I brought your leash." She looked up again and started waving at all the people she knew as she passed by them. "Liza! Mousey wants to say hi, Im going to let him walk around when we get there so he can se everyone again."

[[lol, Eliza, not Mason, Lahren. Mason's in PING. lol, but it's okay, I almost called Conner, Colleen. LOL]]
Eliza bent over a bit while walking to meet eye contact with Mouse through the travel kennel. "Hey, Squeaky!" She giggled a little and stuck her finger through the small opening and let Mouse lick her finger affectionately before pulling it out and walking up the hill leading her small group. She kept thinking about how fun this year was going to be as an upperclassman. Next to the seniors, she was at the top of the school, and with all the senior friends she had, you might as well have put her up in their same ranking.
When they approached the small ice cream shop at the top of the hill, she pushed the door open and greeted everyone in the place as if she lived there. "I'm baaaaack!!" She announced to all the costumers and the Walkers. She held the door open for everyone to file in.
