Wow, now I have a whole lot of new manga to read... xxxHolic is one of my favorites, it's a little better than TRC, in my opinion. Ouran High School Host Club is also another favorite. They both have really good plots and characters! I only ever watched the Death Note anime, does anyone know if the anime and manga are really different?

My favorite series is Fruits Basket, because it is also my first manga/anime, my friend introduced it to me, I used to read it online, but I own most of the volumes, I think I have up until volume 21.
My favorite manga character is Saki Hanajima from Fruits Basket, but I also really like Karin Karino from Kare First Love

Ooh, it's hard to pick an all-time favourite! Right now I'd have to say FMA, but I also REALLY like Code Geass and . . . oh wait, I'm thinking anime. Bleah. Well, still FMA, but probably tied with Naruto.
I think my first series was Fruits Basket, which I never got around to finishing. redface My little sister had been reading various manga for a while, and she really recommended it, so I tried it and it wasn't that bad. I started reading manga online and never looked back! biggrin Oh yeah, and as for what drew me to it . . . it's really stupid, but I loved the idea of reading right to left, and it's still one of the things I enjoy most about reading manga! mrgreen
Oh come on, you can't SERIOUSLY expect me to pick just ONE favourite character! I'm so indecisive, I can hardly decide on one favourite per series! But if I absolutely MUST, I'd say . . . ah, no, I can't do it. Best I can give you is a tie between Sakura (Naruto) and Edward (FMA).
Ooh, I get three this time? blaugh Lessee now . . . Either Shikamaru OR Kakashi (watch me not-so-cleverly evade the three limitation!), because they're both crazy smart, reasonably easy to get along with and . . . how to put this tastefully . . . TOTALLY HOT. Next would probably be Ed Elric, because with his wonderful powers of alchemy he could make sure we had the essentials. And he's also ridiculously good looking. As for the last person . . . hmmmm . . . I'm going to go with Winry, because SOMEONE has to take care of Ed, plus I'd like for there to be another girl.

My fav manga is I AM A PIANO
The story follows a piano on its journey from one owner to the next...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! its short too! only 9 pages long...
I personally love the artist Nakamura Asumiko! <3
Besides that me other favorite manga would have to be...
Kingdom Hearts:
Its also a game but pretty much the manga is based on the game ^^
I suck at summaries so here goes nothing...really...nothing...
Its abouta boy named Sora who needs to save his friends Kairi and Riku. He meets with disney characters and travels to their worlds trying to save their planet from being eaten by heartless.
Its has two sequels Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II

I havent read many manga yet...(but I will) My favorite manga is Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya, It has 24 volumes and its amazing,Its about a girl named Tohru Honda who has come to know a terrible secret.After the death of her mom, she was living by herself in a tent, when the Sohma family took her in.She soon learned that the Sohma family lives with a curse! Each family member is possessed by the vengeful spirit of an animal from the Chinese Zodiac.Whenever one of them becomes weak or is hugged by a member of the opposite sex, they change into their Zodiac animal! ( comedy,romance and is really fun to read).....I really like it. Theres also a 6 dvds anime of Fruits Basket,theyre also great 3nodding Destiny016 4laugh

My all-time favorite series is Ouran High School Host Club because of the cosplay and randomness XD
A series that I think everyone should own is Hellsing because full vampire Seras is kick-butt!
My first manga series was .Hack//Legend of the Twilight. A friend of mine made me read it one day in study hall XD I liked it because it was a different way to read something (never read manga before).
I'm not quite an Otaku but I'm working on it.
My favortie manga character is Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist.
If I was on a desert island I would bring along OHSHC, Hellsing, and FMA because they are my 3 favorite mangas.

-The Bloody Broken Rose- Yu Yu Hakusho is my top anime. I love it. The whole storyline and almost all of the characters except for Keiko and Botan. Hate them. My favorite character is Hiei. Look at my profile. I dare you. As for how I got into it, my friend showed it to my sister, and I kept seeing it on Youtube, and I...I just got addicted to it. But I also love Vampire Knight, Rozen Maiden, Death Note, Inyuyasha, and Code Geass.

Being librarian at my local anime club for a year has given me a chance to read a fair amount of manga and I find it hard picking one. some of my favorites have been;
Akira, definately, it's just awesome on so many different levels.
Gunsmith Cats was a really good read, girls with guns, what more can you want?
GTO is hilariously good, I'm gonna have to read that again.
And award for most panties per page whilst still retaining some concept of a storyline has to go to Battle Vixens XD

I read it many years ago, and I forgot how it ended >< But my all-time favorite manga must be Higurashi no naku koro ni. A manga that is really creepy and hard to understand at first.( I collect the books, but I only got 7 ._.) I really recommend this manga if you don’t have anything against blood and torture scenes ^^” The age limit is set to 18 at least in the anime, and since the manga is far worse, I’ll guess that 18 is a good limit XD haha Anyone who has read this manga?
