Susan looked back at the water, it looked a little still. He wondered breifly if maybe he might have scared the fishies away.... he pouted at that thought. But he knew that he wouldn't be able to make Xi have to share a fish. It just wouldn't be polite. So, being the cocky male he was raised to be, he gave an egotistical smile, and sauntered back over to the stream, there were still fish, but not as plentiful as it had been. A moment of self doubt overshadowed his frame before suddenly being dispersed. "of course there's a second act!" He said seeming as if it was of grave importance, and not quite comperhending the fact that Xi was poking fun at him.

Xiang wasn't exactly poking fun, he just couldn't help finding fun in things this way, if it was, one could consider Xi a huge jerk, but he didn't want it that way, even if he wouldn't admit it. Xi watched Su go back for a second dip, he was waiting to eat until Su had one for his own, he didn't mind sharing, but they would both be left unsatisfied. He wondered how cold the water was, at least the day was on the warm side, he grinned a little.

Susan smiled down at the fishies and pounced into the water, batting here and there and tossing out a few fish, but mainly he was just splashing about. finally when he'd gotten what he thought would be enough fish, he looked wickedly over at Xi, and splashed the cold water up and over, directly to him.

Xi was surprised at the swiftness with which Su had caught a sizable amount of fish, he stepped forward to compliment the youth, only to get a face full of cold water, "Guh! Suu! How could you?" A tinge of anger dripped into his tone and he stepped back, shaking and flailing slightly.

Susan WAS going to laugh... he had even been opening his mouth to let out a few giggles at Xi's expense... only to hear the anger in Xi's voice. He was so used to listening to even the slightest bit that he picked up on Xi's immediately. He quickly lowered his head, and allowed his ears to flatten against his head in a frightened manner, he crouched down slightly and began to back away from Xi and out of the water, towars the other side of the stream. "I'm sorry..." he replied in a pathetically small voice, before turning around and dashing away from Xi, his tail between his legs. Fearing that Xi might be mad at him, and not wanting to know if he was right or not.

With his head down and a paw to his face, wiping the water from his face and ears, Xi shook his head, "No, no it's alright, you just caught me off guard is all..." Xi shifted to lick the water from his wings, he heard Su climbing out of the water and looked up to grin, he wasn't that angry after all... only to find himself alone. "Su?"

Susan ran for what felt like an eternity. But for some reason, he just couldn't seem to stop the embarrassment and frustration that coursed through him at the that moment. He stopped, on the edge of a meadow, and panted for a while. For some reason, he felt slightly empty at the thought of Xi being anything but happy with him. He lowered his head dismally and layed himself down in the shade in a resigned fashion. He let out a long and heavy sigh, thinking that he might never be able to meet Xi again. He closed his eyes and fell into a deep, restless sleep.... No dreams coming to him, becuase how can one dream when you have nothing to be happy about?end for this RP
