Tokioka yalie5 Tokioka yalie5 Kurama35 besides english and cantonese, i can speak some italian right now i'm taking my second year of italian your school offers italian? mine only offers french spanish and german. not enough people ever signs up for latin. and i sign up for it every year too so... that sucks! We gots french and german only, and french is compulsory until you're 16. Sucks a** though, as I wanted to do german but had to give it up cos I didn't like the sound of doing 2 languages at the same time - possible clashing or something. my school does the foreign exchange program where we get kids from France and Germany every other year. then during the summer we send students to the schools in France and Germany. People say it was fun. drank coffee and got so wasted they couldn't ever remember lol. anyways I'm taking french because I choose to. It's getting hard because I need to practice and i'm to sleepy. 6 more hours till school starts. We got that foreign exchange thing too. Had some german guys last year and this year there's this guy from china. I personally wouldn't go on a foreign exchange though, as the language barrier would be too annoying. Plus I don't really like europe. but... you live in Europe... I want to do the study abraod program when i graduate. I've always wanted to travel. Lately i've been thinking of goin to china and japan alot. I just feel like if i don't travel somewhere then i'm going to be depressed. travel=fun. language barriers= some new language i'm learning or and old one that ii need to polish up. xd

t0shi0 wiim Hmm....Other than English and Cantonese, I guess I can do Japanese. Speaking still cannot be done, but I can say things. xd o_O I always thought you as someone who knew 10 different languages. xd Haha, that would be great if I could!! ....It'd be so easy to find a job when my resume says I am fluent in 10 languages. xd

I was also thinking of going travelling around the world by taking a gap year before going to uni. My mum told me that it's best to travel when you're younger, cos then you won't have any responsibilities like a job, or wife and kids to hold you back. But upon contemplation I thought nah, I'll just stick to my studies and travel once I've graduated cos I'm actually looking forward to life at uni - should be fun! surprised However, if I don't get into a uni (god forebid!) then I would have to take a gap year and reapply in 2007. Then I'd probably work for a charity abroad for a while before travelling about. One of my friends is taking a gap year before uni and he's doing this thing called Mercy Ships, where he'll learn about first aid along the coast of africa - on a ship. Sounds good to me, but expensive too. It's like 5000 GBP!! eek

i know some spanish, like saying goodbye and the different greetings, telling the time, days of the week, months of the year, numbers 0 through 100, telling where you're from and asking where someone is from, adjectives, and a few verbs

You go to college when you're 16. In England anyways. Don't you get fed up of going to school? I guess for some people it's OK, but for me it's just too well, identical to every other day since I started secondary school. I mean all I do is: wake up, go to school, come home tired, eat, maybe do HW, watch a little TV then go to sleep. Then the whole monotonous cycle continues, except for when I'm doing extracurricular stuff or if it's the weekend.

I can also speak French. The language is so incredibly hard! crying I failed my grade twice because of French. Dx But oh well, I'm starting to get the hang of it now. >=) I'm planning to learn other languages such as Tagalog and... Urgh... Russian too. =3 I don't know why I'm studying French anyways. I'm moving out of Quebec one day. (Well, I plan to. heart domokun )
