Richard smiled, bending down to bite the end off the stick without taking it from her, not caring about the few snide comments or whispered thrown at them. He was with the most beautiful girl in all of Veratia, and she was his. What did he care if they stared? He chewed nodding at the taste, taking a sip of wine before speaking. "Well If i keep eating like this, I might lose that 6 pack..." he laughed a little, having at his soup. "Mm...this is amazing, you should try some," He offered, scooting the bowl towards her and handing her a bread stick.

Richard laughed and shook his head. "It seems I cant be displeasing to you can I?" He asked jokingly, smoothing his hair back as he sighed. "It is a lovely night though...you think you'll be too tired later for a dance?" He asked, hoping to get her out on the dance floor before the night was over.

Richard smiled to her, after getting a look at his own meal, his steak looking large and delicious. "I'm sure they have a way for us to take some home," He assured, already starting to cut into his steak with a smile. "I was thinking they would serve scanty portions but this is just huge!" he exclaimed, taking a bite and making probably the cutest face he had ever made as the steak melted in his mouth.

Richard seemed to think a moment before replying. "As much as I have been...well not against their relationship, but just pointing out the major flaws and keeping them in mind, I don't really expect them to stay together all that long to be ones..." he said with a shrug, though sighed. "Though the aftershock...would be terrible. It's funny because I honestly don't know how either of them would take a break up..." He furrowed his brow slightly as he took another bite of his steak. "I just hope they at least love each other enough to watch and know what's best for each other...even if it means leaving..." He had thought of that himself many times. If him leaving would ever benefit Lorey greatly, he would do it in a heart beat, despite how much it would kill him. He just prayed he'd never have to.

Richard almsot chocked on his steak as he reached for a drink of his wine nervously. "Oh....erm-" He furrowed his brow. "Um well...its h-hard to say..." He looked off in a random direction, annoyed with himself that he couldn't lie to Lorey. He sighed deeply. "Well...according to Damian...it was very...'eventful'...." He looked down at his plate idly. "I had remembered them back and forth about how they had each screwed up, Raquel said something about a business deal, and that she was going to return to where she was before they had met....that was the last I saw of her..." He said, rubbing the bridge of his nose, a quirk that was well known of him by now. "Damian filled me in latter...that erm- well she ....tried...to take her life.." He said softly as he took another bite of steak.

Richard looked down at his food, nodding slowly. "Though much of it depend so n them alone...I wish them the best, and will do what I can to help..." He concluded, shaking his head. "But enough sad things, this is a happy occasion!" He clasped his hands together. "Let me see that beautiful smile on that pretty face again, Hm?" He gave Lorey a dashing smile of his own, hoping to pride out the pearly whites he loved so much.

Richard was about to decline so he could digest first but Lorey was so adamant he was pulled off easily, laughing all the while. Once they were in the center of the floor, he straightened out his tux before bowing deeply like a knight to his princess. "May I have this dance?" He asked giving he a small smile.
