[[Soungs good to me!]]
"I-It's okay." She murmured, forcing a small smile at the man. Just as she was extending a delicate hand to introduce herself, the stone on the floor flew from the tile and at Abigail. She automatically used the same hand to block herself and catch the flying object. At least my reflexes are still in check...
It seemed as though the stone had followed the man's finger; bending to his will. Abigail's face read that of surprise. What nearly caused her a heart attack, however, was the fact he had a stone as well. At least she didn't feel alone anymore. Abigail swallowed the lump in her throat and studied the man. He looked to be as human as she was. He was just a regular guy, she figured. Except for the fact that he is extremely handsome. Abigail dropped her eyes from his face to the stone in his hand.
So many questions were going through her mind, but which one should she start with? She didn't want to scare him away. But Abigail had a feeling that she shouldn't be too worried about that. Chewing her lip in thought, Abigail kept her gaze on the stone.
"I'm Abigail." She finally looked up. "Abigail Hensler."

Nicholas turned his head to Abigail quickly when she spoke and smiled at her brightly. She seemed surprised but who wouldn't be.
When she mentioned her name Nicholas was rather pleased, it was good that she felt comfortable enough to introduce herself. Nicholas gave the girl a bow and hid the stone in his pocket.
"You can call me Nicholas, it's a pleasure to meet you Abigail." He spoke softly and kept his bright smile up. He stared dreamily at her as they stood in place, facing each other.
"Something on your mind?" He ended. It was cute but still worrying to see her struggle through her thoughts and actions.

Con whispered a few words to himself as he pulled out a small compass. Judging he was going in the right direction, he replaced it and continued. Oh~This was going to be fun! Abbot had chosen him and a handful of others so seek out the Stonecasters that were spotted not to long ago. The spy Can had sent out previously had said he found one with a unique stone--one that might signify that the Stone Speaker had appeared. Kill off the leader of the Stonecaster early and they will have no one to follow--they'll be helpless in this pointless fight. Moving quickly, Con grapsed his bow, ready to summon a fire-arrow at the first sight of them. " I can't wait to start this hunt!"

Abigail couldn't resist smiling at his introduction. "Pleasure is all mine, Nicholas." She felt giddy, actually happy despite the month's past events. Maybe it was just the thrill of having a conversation with another human being after all of the shelter drills in the past year. Perhaps it was the fact that there was a greater reason for meeting this man; after all, they both have these odd stones.
"Something on your mind?" He questioned. Abigail snapped out of her musings and looked at Nicholas. The expression he wore quickly made Abigail look down to her feet, a slight blush creeping through her cheeks.
"A lot of things, actually." She wrinkled her nose with confusion. So many questions, but where on earth to begin? Abigail ran a course of several possibilities through her mind; deciding it didn't really matter where to start for she was going to ask every one of those questions. Poor Nicholas...
"I guess," She paused for a few seconds. "What brought you here?"

((hmm... i guess a bit of a late start is better than none at all.))
Ashe ran... it made sense didn't it? when a whole bunch of weird stuff started happening you ran. Whether it was running away from an enemy or just to get your agression out, or even just to give yourself some time to think. Running was a good solution.
At the moment, he was just running to figure out what he should do. Suddenly having the fate of something you didn't even know existed shoved into your hands isn't always a fun experience. So going out to run for a bit was as good a course of action as anything. He had no reason to want to do any of this stuff for some gods he didn't really know anything about... and he was going to have to work with a bunch of people he didn't know? what to do... he just kept running threw the park, it was already dark, but he was good at dodging the patrols.

((Oh thank you ^.^ Satzu)) Nicholas kept smiling at her as she spoke. He actually had to think about it though. 'I have only been moving forward, right...?' He questioned in his head. "I'm just looking to fulfill the purpose of the stones. I hope you don't mind coming along, since we're needed to do this together." He said softly and walked over to her. He placed his right hand under her chin and lifted her face up from her feet, revealing her beautiful, blushing face. He had only one word for it and it was 'Cute.'

[[No problemo. 3nodding ]]
Together? Abigail thought about the word, let alone what it might entail. How exactly were they to go on about fulfilling purposes? Let alone the purpose of an inanimate object. Abigail slightly recoiled at the sudden touch of a hand under her chin. It had been so long since she had a conversation with another human being, let alone one being so comfortable.
Her face automatically flushed brighter as Nicholas tilted her face upward; no longer allowing her to look at the floor. Abigail quickly swallowed the nervous lump in her throat. "And, h-how exactly are we to do that? Are there others with stones? What do we even do with them?" She quickly cut off her third question, realizing she was about to go into a rant due to her nervousness.

(^o^)
Nicholas chuckled softly at all her actions. He softly blew on her face. "Calm down, don't worry." He said softly and kept chuckling under his sweet smile. "What the fairy said was simple, to save the world after gathering up with the others." He finished. It was how he simplified it, it was all pretty clear but he couldnt help but wonder where all of the stone holders might be. There also was the trouble with the strange things that were invisible and killing everyone.

Tai stared down at the streets, trying to pick out the fourty-sixth victim of the day. He cracked his neck and knuckles and leaped down onto a lower house to get a better look of all the humans walking down the street.
He smirked at the sight of the unsuspecting creatures. They seemed so clueless, so unknowing about other creatures of his kind. It seemed to be just a bit of a pathetic sight for him to watch.

Abigail pursed her lips with a mix of emotions. She was scared about the task at hand, angry about not knowing what to do, nervous due to the close proximity of the rather attractive stranger, overjoyed of meeting someone new, just...an overwhelming weight of different thoughts. Nicholas had put their fate so casually, so simple. The fairy did explain some things; but not enough. Abigail made a habit of making mountains out of mole hills. This situation, however, was enough to drive her insane if she was alone. Thank the gods for Nicholas...seriously.
"How many do you think there are?" She asked. "And, if you don't mind me asking, how did you that." Abigail flicked her finger, just as Nicholas had done earlier when her stone was on the floor. She wrinkled her nose in frustration. "I mean," Abigail paused. Everything was so new, it felt kind of embarrassing. "My stone started glowing and the next thing I knew, everything looked so different. I see shadows." She trailed off. Verbalizing it only made everything feel more real.

(( aww on getting sickies x-x )) Nicholas didn't stop smiling at her. He took her right hand into his softly and thought they should go hand in hand. "Not sure how many there could be, but we will find out." He spoke kindly and chuckled. "The stones give their owner magical powers of one of the four basic elements I'm guessing. Fire, Water, Wind and Earth. Mine is wind. Spells are activated by certain words of the forgotten language, Latin. I only know a few so far." He explained as well as he could, and this made him wonder if there were latin texts in this library. Maybe translations so they could find words for spells.

[[Nya, sorry for not posting sooner. sad ]]
Mizuki walked the road quietly, with Moonsilver beside her. She didn't know where the road lead to, just that it was there. She fingered the small, silverish-blue-and-white-stone-with-a-tint-of-purple in her pocket, but didn't take it out to look at. "Where are we headed, Mizuki?" Moonsilver asked. "Anywhere." Was her quiet reply.
