Bakura was satisfied with that. "Very well, we'll put the plan into action this evening. But for now..." He said with a smirked, leaning over to kiss her lips as he slid his hands down to her hips. Unfortunately they were interupted before his lips met contact with hers.
Two of his men came in the room. "Bakura, the men are ready to tonights raid." They reported.
Bakura let go of her and turned around. "There is a change of plans, gather the men at once." He barked back and with a 'yes sir!' they ran off.
"Um i dont know... I've never played these games, you pick..." Akila said unsure, looking at the foriegn games curiously. She loved games. She didnt know most of these though.

Nami looked at Bakura with a calm expression. "...maybe some day I can learn how to use a sword?" she asked softly, not sure of his answer.
Atem thought "how about Chines Checkers? I'll show you how to play. it's really fun." he walked over to a table that had the game displayed.
(I love that game XDDD)

"Perhaps..." Bakura said. He wasnt sure if he felt comfortable with that. Plus if she was to be his woman he would protect her, why would she need to learn to use a sword then. "Why? You have me to protect you now my pet." He said, siting back down in his seat as he waited for his men to return.
"Ok, sounds interesting..." She said and followed him. She sat down and looked at the board confused. "So, how do we play?" She didnt look at him> She kenw she would get far too destracted and wouldnt be able to listen to the rules. He was just so good looking.

"I know that..... it's just.." Nami looked down. "I'm not use to being so dependent on someone... It's not completely healthy either." she sighed silently "there will be a time where I'm on my own, and I'll have no one to protect me.. not even you can be everywhere at once." she whispered before turning her head.
Atem began telling her the rules and basic movements. "in the end you need to get your color into your opponents area." he pointed to the colored marbles. "get it?" he asked calmly.

"... I'll consider it..." Bakura said. He had no doubt he could protect her but if it made her feel better and was no threat to him then maybe he would allow it. His men soon arrived in the room and sat down around the table. Bakura smirked and started telling his men his plans. To attack a village near the palace, leaving only Nami left Alive so the Pharaoh would save her.
Akila nodded. "Alright, I think I get it. Dont go easy on me!" Akila smiled and looked at him challengingly. Whenever she had played games with any other royals she was instructed to let them win. She was good at games and her ego didnt like letting them win so she stayed ahead through the whole game usually and made it obvious that she was letting them win. But this time was different. She didnt think Atem wanted her to let him win and she wasnt sure if she would even be able to win.

Nami whispered softly in his ear "thank you." before looking back at the men with a straight face. she was determined to do her job. after all, it was the Pharaohs fault her village was left unprotected.... or so she believed. she was bound to find out the truth, seeing that she could actually read but that was her little secret.
Atem smiled and nodded "ok and don't you hold back either." he then set up the bored "choose a color." he said softly.

After they discussed the plan Bakura stood up. One man stood up, disagreeing with Bakura's plan. Bakura looked at him for a second and then threw a dagger. It landed right in the man's throat and he fell back, flailing for help but everyone just ignored him. "Anyone else have any protests? good." He said. He turned around with a smirk. He grabbed Nami's hand and led them out to the stables. He grabbed a black cloak and so did his men before getting on their horses. He turned and offered her his hand.
"Alright, but then I'm sure I'll beat you!" Akila said confidently. "ummmm green!" Akila picked when he told her to pick a color.

Nami smiled and took his hand and managed to get on the horse. "when will you strike the palace?" she asked calmly.
Atem Smiled as he chose Violet "ok let's begin..." he smiled as the game began.

"when the time is right my pet." He answered and kicked the horse, taking off into the desert. After a long ride in silence they came to a city near the palace. Bakura's men gallopped ahead, knowing exactly what to do. They lit homes on fire and caused chaos. They didnt kill many yet so they could leave some survivors to run for help and hopefully attract the Pharaoh. Bakura stopped his horse just outside the village. "Get off and wait here until the Pharaoh comes." He ordered, looking at the burning village excitedly, licking his lips.
They began to play. Akila wasnt very good. But soon she heard loud noises comming from the west. She looked up at Atem. "Whats that noise?" She looked up and saw smoke from the village and heard screaming.

Nami nodded and hopped off of the horse "ok." she said softly.
Atem lifted up his head "get to the Palace!" he said urgently before hopping onto his horse and galloped into the city.
Nami heard the distinct sound of Bakura's men returning and informing him that the Pharoah was coming. she looked up at Bakura and smiled "I'll do my part to the best of my abilities." she said calmly.
( i was thinking that Nami finds out that Bakura lied to her about the pharaoh and her village and that she found out ^,^, just to add a twist.)

((yeah I was thinking that, but not until later, first they should be sneaking around to try and see each other while causing problems for Akila and Atem I think.))
"Dont let me down..." Bakura said a bit threateningly. "I will come see you tonight my Queen..." Bakura said to remind her that he promised she would be his queen when this all worked out. After that he kicked his horse and joined in with the killing, making sure to stay near Nami incase anything went wrong. He could always find another girl for this yes but he still felt protective over her. As soon as the Pharaoh arrived he would pretend to attack Nami.
Akila stood up quickly. "But Pharaoh! I want to go with you!" Akila said worriedly. She didnt want him to go alone. Sure he was more the capable of taking care of himself but she was still concerned. Besides, she never was good at listening to orders. She ran to her horse and jumped on, kicking it to gallp after him.

Atem looked back "It's thieves now go to the palace and alert the Guard for me!" he pleaded more than ordered. he then made his way towards Bakura and his men.
Nami nodded and bowed her head slightly "I wont my King and very well." she said calmly.her head then shot in the direction of hoof beats. they weren't of Bakura's men, that she could tell. they sounded more like a kings horse galloping at full speed towards the danger.
Atem cut away at a few of bakura's men as they got in his way "Bakura! this is where your murdering ends!" he shouted loudly.

Bakura looked at the Pharaoh as he killed some of his men. Oh well, they can be replaced. he laughed insanely. "Oh I've only begun Pharaoh. And youre a bit too late. Almost everyone in the village is dead." He said and chuckled darkly. "Once again you are a failure to protect you people. oh well, more fun for me!" He said.
Akila frowned and stopped her horse. She was worried about him but the best thing to do to help him would be to get help. It was hard but she turned her horse around and headed to the palace for help.
The first person she saw was Priest Seto who gathered some gaurds imediately to go help the Pharaoh.

Nami watched with wide eyes. she then smiled at Bakura before quickly changing into her acting mode. she backed away from Bakura, whimpering feebly. it actually looked like she was terrified of him, her acting was quite amazing in front of the thieves that knew she was quite the opposite of a quivering, and helpless girl.
Atem looked between Bakura at the terrified girl "it's ok he wont hurt you." he moved his horse between Nami and Bakura. he then heard back up guards coming to help "Like I said it ends now!" he horse reared back before charging at Bakura.
when Atem couldn't see her Nami looked at Bakura and winked behind his back and resumed her acting as the guards came into view.

Bakura smirked. He kind of liked seeing her like this. He loved seeing women frightened. However he enjoyed her real personality that was bold and would challenge him, bringing him a great deal of pleasure. He chuckled again. "What makes you think you can protect her?" He said as he raised his sword, ready to fight. Then he saw all the gaurds comming along with the high priest. He growled. "You need back up? How weak. And you call youreself a god..." He said before signaling his men to retreat. "Well my work here is done, I've killed pleanty to be satisfied, for now. I'll return for the rest of your country." And with a maniacal laugh he kicked his horse and escaped.
Akila was ordered to stay at the palace. She fought back against the gaurds trying to detain her and ran out of the gates. She didnt have her horse since the gaurds took him from her but she was more worried about Atem for the moment. She ran for a bit until she got tiered. She could see the city but she was still too far away.
"Pharaoh! Are you ok?!" Priest Seto called to him as they arrived and saw Bakura retreating.
