"Yick!" Cait's face contorted in disgust, "I don't think I know anyone who really appreciates B.A.N.D.'s music. They are two-bit hacks. I guess it's good at least that they aren't as bad as the Jones Brothers... Still not looking forward to what prom will be like, especially with how notorious their crowds are..." Jay returned to the booth and was perplexed to find a boy sitting where she ought to be. She wasn't all that surprised though, Cait was pretty notorious for being overly trusting and welcoming of anyone who came her way, especially if the guy looked like he was trying to hit on her. She always had fun playing with them. Joyfully, Cait took her coffee from Jay and sipped deeply of the dark roast. "Welcome back, Jay! Sorry you got your seat stole. This poor soul is running from a bad date. Care to make him look unavailable with me?" Jay laughed out loud at Cait's frankness. "Awesome. But what would Dan say?" "Aww, he isn't here, and I sure as hell am not going to tell him. Those zombies up there aren't paying any attention to us." She motioned up at the stage and turned to the new guy who was now sandwiched between Cait and Jay, "Do you go to DUHS? I'm sorry I didn't catch your name..."

Lindsay decided for once to look for danger rather than have it find her. She had heard of B.A.N.D.'s gig tonight at the PU and decided to check it out. If they were going to play at prom, then Lindsay decided she needed a preview. Besides, she needed to get out a bit.
Even though she had just walked in on the incident at the park , Lindsay decided to be ready for this event. Therefore, after a struggle to find some decent parking, Lindsay arrived at the PU for the B.A.N.D. show.
Lindsay pulled her costume out of the bottom of her bag and put it at the top. She planned to go to the bathroom and put her costume on underneath her clothes so that she could change very quickly in the event of a riot. She had a bad feeling about the concert.
Lindsay walked to the door of the club, hearing the baritone of the singer's voice and the beat of the drums before she even got inside. She nudged the door open and the rock music became louder. It was a low song that reached her ears, yet it calmed her somewhat. Lindsay quickly produced her wallet and pulled out five dollars, placing it in a jar and thinking that was the entry fee. Lindsay wandered aimlessly through the crowd, oddly calm, before snapping out of it.
Bathroom. Costume under clothes. I've got to focus. Geez, why is this song sounding so good? I don't even like B.A.N.D. that much! Lindsay thought, finally making her way into the bathroom. The low bass of the drumbeat and a vague guitar riff reached her ears here and there, but Lindsay was able to focus long enough to slip her camisole and stockings under her clothes. That would speed any necessary changing up by at least two minutes. Lindsay pulled her hair back into a casual ponytail as well so that she could pin it up under her wig if need be.
She didn't want to have to do any heroics, but knowing B.A.N.D.'s reputation, she was going to be ready for anything. This was probably the first time that Lindsay was fully prepared for what she might have to do. Half of her reluctance came from Lindsay's tendency to just accidentally walk in on a bad situation.
She left the bathroom and, careful this time to try to tune out the music, tried to find a table at which to sit.

Cael was completely out of his element. He was always surprised that Serenity had spent so much time with him and had never talked with as many girls as he had today in his life. Now he was sitting in a booth between two girl who were of all things flirting... with him! Last time he had been stuck in a booth with two girls Serenity had had her own ulteiror motives. Cael had no idea how to respond to the actions so he chose to answer the questions instead. "I'm Cael, nice to meet you. I just started at DUHS. I moved here recently from Snowveil, Vermont. The climate is a nice change but I miss the snow." He looked at Jay, now sitting next to him and commented "You seem alittle... red. What happened to your arm? Cael kept fidgeting trying to find a nice comfortable position where he wasn't too close to either girl for fear of his own ineptitude.

Jesin was too focused on looking for a place to hide out until her scales stopped acting up to notice as she reached into her pocket and pulled out the five she usually kept there in case she needed to buy some emergency mints, or whatever. When the jar came near to her, she dropped her five in, even as she thought, They're probably already getting overpaid for this gig, not to mention album sales and stuff. Like they're starving for... it...Contrary conscious thoughts and subconscious actions only clashed after the jar had made its way on. What the...Okay, that had just cost her, like, six things of tic-tacs, or four Altoids. A whole lot of double-mint gum. (It was really only when it came to her emergency mints money that she thought in mints, not when it came to regular money.) She barely liked their music. At most, it was worth, like, a quarter. She went to the tables and happened to come upon an empty one. Sinking into the chair there, she stared out at the zombie-like crowd. That was so not right. Sitting there, Jesin happened to notice Lindsay looking around, maybe for somewhere to sit, maybe for some specific person. It would be nice to get an opinion of the music from someone who wasn't actively acting like a zombie. "No one else's sitting here," she said over the music. She gestured to the other chair at the table with an open hand and a small smile. A cool feeling came across her hand suddenly, though, so she slipped it into her pocket. Wherever she felt that cool sensation, she knew that it meant her scales had broken out. Nothing on her face yet, luckily. ((OOC: Mint money value is an approximation based on past experience buying mints and not current market prices. Allow for a smallish margin of error.))

Over the din of the music and muffled clinking of coins against dollar bills against a jar--there were obviously a few people who didn't have five dollars in bills alone--Lindsay heard a voice nearby say, "No one else's sitting here," and looked to see a smiling girl gesturing at an empty seat. Never one to give up the chance to sit down in such a crowded location as the PU, Lindsay sat down in the open chair. "Hello," Lindsay offered, just loud enough to be heard over the continuing chorus of "Give Me Five Dollars." Why do I want to dig through my wallet to see if I have any more money? Lindsay wondered, trying to drown out the music with thoughts and perhaps conversation with the girl across the table.

Jesin was pleasantly surprised when her invite was taken seriously. She'd half-expected that chair to just get snatched up and taken away by someone with friends at another table. "Hey," she said over the music. "I'm Jesin." She glanced at the crowd again, felt the music pulling at her still. She, too, was thinking that conversation would be a good way of tuning that music out. "How about that crowd?"

Jay sighed. Even though she was getting better she still hated telling that story, so she figured she would start with a question, "Were you here the day that those criminals broke into the school and pushed us into lock down? It was the same day that those two girls got in a fight with that b***h Rowena Lasairona..." Jay paused. She wasn't really waiting for an answer. If he hadn't been there he'd at least heard about it by now, the school couldn't stop talking about it. "Well, we were those girls... Rowena broke Cait's nose," Jay motioned towards her best friend, "And then when Dr. Attomos tried to help, I got caught in the explosion. The burn is actually more obnoxious than the fractured wrist that I got. The explosion threw me back into a counter and I banged myself up pretty hard." Jay had no idea how much information Cael had heard in the noisy club, but hoped she wouldn't have to repeat herself. The crowd had lost their minds, and she certainly didn't want to be the cause of the next riot. "Dude, you have got to stop fidgeting if you don't want be noticed."

Tommy walked by himself down the sidewalk, he sighed to himself, wondering why his dad couldn't find somewhere more exciting to work. He blinked when his ears caught an odd tune coming from the nightclub ahead. He had heard about some sort of band playing here, so he thought, 'heck why not see.' He got into the club and as soon as he opened the doors the full sound of the song hit his ears, and he could say, he didn't like it. He groaned, the music was probly good to others, but this type of music he didnt enjoy. He began to walk twords the tables he spotted when he felt a little paniced, seeing the huge crowd, mesmerized by the music. He quickly got to a table and sat down sighing, fixing the tie that hung around his neck he sat there watching the band. Tommy felt odd, the music made his foot slowely tap even though he disliked the sound from the band. He stopped himself from going along with the music and leaned back and played with a strand of his hair. He didn't know why he came in here, he didn't excpect anything interesting, but it was better than heading home alone to unpack things. Previously.

Cael listened to Jay, though when he stopped fidgeting he found himself not comfortably far enough from either girl. He hadn't heard too much detail about her story, but it sounded like Jay had already gone into far more detail then she wished to so he dropped the subject. Figuring that more than enough time had gone by, or that James Cross had found something more compelling to occupy his time with, Cael took off his hoodie. "It's too damn hot in here to be wearing this thing. I'm sure by now they've stopped looking for me. And I'm sorry to hear about that, I hope you get better soon." Cael found himself quickly becoming unable to hear his own thoughts over the din of the crowd let alone his voice as he shouted at Jay and Cait. "Is Delmor always this lively or did I just move in at the wrong time? Isn't there anything more interesting around here for people to throw away their free time on?"

Tehra reached the door after a very slow trek across the floor, as she was about to exit, she thought twice about it. If she went all the way outside just to come back in, it would most likely waste at least half an hour. She couldn't afford to miss that much time, if a riot broke out. Tehra mentally cursed herself for having not thought about bringing her sword in ahead of time. The pink haired teen shrugged slightly as she truned adn walked back into the club, making up her mind to actively pursue meeting people and making friends this time. She wasn't sure what kind of people she'd find.
As Tehra was walking, a very rushed waiter blew past her with shocking force, knocking her into a table that had a brown haired guy sitting at it, playing with a bit of his hair. Her eyes went wide as she fell halfway on the table, her face about a foot away from the guy;s bright blue eyes. "I'm sorry...." Her face was a little red as the disheveled pink haired girl gave him a slight smile. "These waiters seem a little stressed...." Tehra let out a slight laugh.

Tommy glanced about, taking in the sights when someone was knocked into the table. He gasped, jumping a few inches out of his chair. He tugged his hair, letting out a voiceless ow when he pulled his hair. He blinked looking at the girl who hit the table, "Ah...um its ok...are you ok?" He blinked blushing as he noticed her face close to his. He chuckled a bit at her comment, "Y..Yeah, I guess this crowd is making them a little stressed...all the commotion and all. Tommy stood up incase she needed help.

Tehra smiled and nodded as she pushed herself up off the table. "Yeah I'm okay, thanks for asking." The teen brushed herself off and straightened her skirt a little, it having gone awry when she fell. Tehra offered her hand, still smiling "I'm Tehra... I'm new here so I'm afraid we haven't met before..." Damien had lost sight of Tehra for a while, but soon caught sight of her again. She was talking to someone. He sighed and shook his head slightly, his handsome eyes averting away to something else. If she was talking to somebody, Damien wasn't going to just waltz up and cause the scene his arrival would ensue, considering Tehra didn't want him following her- even if it was only to help her out. Perhaps it would be better if he announced his presence when they were not in a massive crowd. The shock would cause much less of a scene that way.

Tommy smiled and took her hand shaking it. He chuckled, "What a councidence, I just moved here two days ago." He brushed his hair back a bit, "Um...you can sit." He said pointing to the free chair. He smiled at her, "Ah...im Tommy, Tommy Lirik." He fiddled with his tie, nervous to meet new people, it had been years since he had to meet new people and make friends.

Tehra smiled at him. "Thank you." She took the seat and scotted up to the table, meeting his eyes. "I moved here a few days before that. Have you started school yet Tommy?" the fallen angel asked, wondering if he knew how strange this town was turning out to be. "What brought you to Delmor?" Tehra thought it was a bit cute, how he kept fidgeting and couldn't seem to sit still. She hoped he would relax a little bit.

He smiled a bit, still nervous. He looked at his tie when she asked the first question, he blinked, "Ah, no, I start tomorrow though..." He stopped fidgeting as much after the first question, "Um, my dad got a job here at the medical research center." He was happy to have someone to talk to, talking to new people, especially woman, was hard in a new town. He looked up at her, "Uh even though your kinda still new here can you tell me if there is anything interesting with this town?"
