Zero stopped singing and cracked open his eyes to look at the sky. The rain had stopped. He stood up and stepped out into the street. Something caught his eye. There was a girl standing in the middle of the street. She must have been the girl who was talking to the alchemist. Zero raised one eyebrow trying to think of why she would stop in in the middle of the street. He shook his head and hummed the tune he was singing as he went back to sit down.

Ears still strained to catch the sound, she let out a long sigh when it cut off abruptly. 'It stopped...' She thought to herself sadly, for some reason serverely disappointed. Tyr looked down at her feet and shuffled forward slowly. What an idiot she must look like to Farwind and whoever had been sitting on outside their house earlier, after all, she had just suddenly stopped in the middle of the street, and she hadn't even gone that far. For eighteen years she had done her best to avoid looking like an idiot, and here she was in one day embarrassing herself multiple times in the same hour.

Her ears, however, picked up something and she turned her head so fast to catch it that she turned her entire body around. 'There it is again!' She thought happily, 'Only now it's humming...' She furrowed her eyebrows and looked around rapidly. Farwind was still outside, but that couldn't be him, he was too far away; she didn't see anyone else, except... Blushing Tyr looked towards the house the other witness to her earlier embrrassment had been sitting infront of, gulping slightly. There was no way, right? Of course, however, she was wrong; there certianly was someone still out there and he certianly was within range for it to be him. If only her vision was better, she could actually see who he was, instead of a blurry figure.

Zero's eyes slid back to the girl. She was staring at him. He stopped humming and sat up from the wall and looked at her closely. She was that girl who was suppose to be the librarian. With a sigh, he pushed himself up and made his way over to her. "Can I help you?" he asked when he came to a stop a few feet from her.

Jordan finally made his way out of the woods, walking out onto a cobblestone lane. He sighed and looked up at a wooden sign. He wasn't good at reading yet, but he could make out the words 'Anchorhold' on the portion of the sign that was pointing west. Sighing and beginning the walk, Jordan dragged his feet and kicked a small stone that was at his feet. About half an hour later, the large village came into view and he began to run. Upon walking past the first house he glanced around, looking for somewhere to avoid the rain that was just now beginning to bother him. With water sprinkling down his face, he marched into his house and ignored his Mother's calls to him, instead choosing to race upstairs to his room. Laying in his bed, he began to drift off to sleep.

Meanwhile...

Wren marched into the City council building with anger in her eyes. Running up to the Council-room, which was in session. "The monestary sent us an old monk to help us. He looked over 40! What can he do for us...?"
The other council members looked up, several with alarmed faces. They mumbled senselesslely. Most of them knew that Wren was probably under-estimating the man. And one man, who obviously didn't know how fired up she could get yelled out
"They train them hard up at that church, I'll bet he'll be fine!"
The others held there breath in surprise, they waited and stared at Wren with slight fear...

When he stood up, Tyr's eyes widened slightly and she started to turn red in the face. 'Oh gods above he's caught me staring and now he's going to come over and yell at me,' She thought to herself, wanting nothing more than to curl up into a little ball and cry or to turn around run away; however, she seemed rather frozen to the spot. 'What did I do to deserve all of this?' She asked herself mentally, going back over the list of things that had brought embarassment to her since she'd left her house, landing finally on the fact she was still soaked through and probably looked like a drowned rat.

Of course, as he got closer he became more and more clear, and slowly Tyr's face began heating up all the more, but not so much because of the fact she was yet again embarrassing herself. 'Oh, isn't that just my luck?' She sighed inside her own mind, wanting to fall over in the middle of the street and just die. Mentally goraning she shifted a few times and put her hands behind her back, fiddling nervously. "Not... exactly..." She squeaked, curling inward. She was wondering to herself just how rude it would be to blurt: "I was walking by and happened to hear you singing, it was really lovely, could you do it again so I can listen?" She was pretty sure that it was awfully rude, highly uncalled for, and to never ever leave her mind.

Zero tipped his head to the side. "Did you get caught in the rain or were you dancing in it?" he asked mentally laughing at the soaking wet girl that stood in front of him. "Do you have a cold?" he asked keeping his face as emotionless as possible.

((Are uh, people waiting on me?))

Tyr blushed even more and looked down quickly to avoid having to look at him. "I.." She squeaked, mentally flinching; why did she squeak so much when she tried to talk? How did she even respond to that? "I like the rain." She said simply, and hoped that maybe he would leave it at that. It was really hard to believe that here she was, yet again talking to someone, when she normally tried so hard to avoid it.

Zero nodded, then looked back at his house and sighed. "I have some fresh venison at my house would you like something to eat?" he asked gesturing to towards his home. It was an uncommon offer for him to make, but the girl in front of him looked so pitiful that he wanted to do something for her.

After a long day's work, Sendral went to the inn to get a mug of ale. As he order, he noticed a man clutching at his chest occasionaly, and making odd groaning sounds. Not long after the man collapsed, blood trickling out of the corners of his mouth. Many customers screamed in panic, others calling for a doctor. Sendral ran over to the man and started performing a medieval method of cpr. After a while, a man came in with a surgical kit, handing it to Sendral, who at once began incapacitating and preparing the patient for surgery. The patient successfully recovered from the operation, and all returned to normal, however, Sendral came across an old man in a robe, carrying a long staff at the inn, who seemed to not react shocked when the man collapsed.

"Why did you not help, that man could have died?" Sendral asked in great confusion.

For a moment Tyr stared in shock at his feet, and then she looked up so she could look him in the face and try to read what he was thinking; there was nothing there that she could tell, but then she was never good at reading emotions. She wanted to go home and change out of her wet clothes, maybe take a bath, put on some dry clothes, and curl up in bed with a book until she got too hungry to stay in bed any longer. She didn't want to be here, so why when she opened her mouth the words, "OK,", left she had absoultely no clue.

"I have seen many die, and perhaps it was that man's time to come. It is not my business to meddle in the affairs of The Lifebringer. Who are you. I can tell you are a doctor, but i have no idea anything else about you. Unlike everyone else, i cannot read you." The Old man stood up, and leaned on his walking stick, light gleaming in his eyes, and the facets on the gems that he still carried. "Who are you."

((Sorry, short post.))

While his lips spoke his name, his eyes spoke the massive confusion that had swept his mind. This deadly philosophy was shocking, yet understandable to Sendral. Finally he mustered the courage to ask,
"Who are you?"

"I? I am Taran Rockfist, Master of the stunning fist, speed of those unknown. I hold many more titles, but my most recently acquired is apparently Millionaire. And i must ask: Why is your skin around your eyes blue?" The old man shifted a little, balancing his weight towards Sendral, his robe shifting, hiding his form.

Wren stared at the man for a moment, anger flaring in her eyes. Although she knew that she had no right to reprimand the man for speaking his opinion, all the people on the council were 'equal'. She did anyways. Marching over to the man she was glad to see his eyes widen and his face pale. Wren looked his straight in the eye and asked.
"What did you say?!"
"Nothing ma'am!" The man said hurriedly trying to cover his mistake.
"Good, your learing you lesson then." Pushing the man over on to the floor with a small movement of her hand, she sighed.
"Now, what were you talking about?" She took her seat at the circular table and with a small jerk of her head, reassured everyone it was safe to speak again. The man, realizing that he should probably leave until tomorrows session slowly left the room with his head hung low.

[[Wren is essentially, the leader of the council.]]
