"WHOA girl, WHOA!"
Alex didn't know how long they had been galloping, but they passed through a small field. Alex almost had shasta to a trot, when a young boy walked into the field next to them, carrying a whip. A whip of all things. well he started to swing it around like he was a cowboy. Shasta freaked, she reared high on her legs, almost falling over. Alex managed to stay on, lucking she had managed to regain her irons. Shasta took off, full gallop in to the woods.

Stephanie heard galloping hoof beats. She reached the boy and then screamed "YOU IDIOT DANIKA KICK HIM". The boy looked shoocked Danika reared and knocked the boy out. She could see Shasta entering the woods, then she followed them at a walk.

Shasta mind raced, images filled her head, one of a man and a whip, other of a horse sreaming in pain as the whip slashed against her bleeding body, and her, staring helplessly as her mother was beaten to death.
Alex heard Stephanie yell at the boy, she didn't try to stop shasta, she knew she was scared and needed to get far away.

Morgan kept Danika at a walk and hoped that Shasta would calm down and hoped that Alex was alright and also that she could help her train and name these new horses she would trailer over soon.

Shasta had no intention of stopping anytime soon she kept racing forward at top speed. "Easy girl!" alex cried as a large gate approched. Shasta ran for the gate, alex hung on with all her might. they were taking off, in the air, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Crap Crap Crap thought Stephanie. "Oh what do I do?" said Stephanie said. She reached the gate and then opened it and said "Woah Shasta Whoa girl whoooaaa".

Shasta lay thrashing on the ground as alex lay by her side, still. her breathing was still good.

"Are you alright?" asked Stephanie. Danika's nostrles flarred because of all the galloping they did. Danika heared a whinny, but it wasn't from Shasta. "What's wrong Dani?" asked Stephanie. Then she saw a glipse of a wild foal in the woods. "Wild horses, cool" muttered Stephanie, she wanted to train it but she knew there were more but she needed Alex's help braking them and right now Alex was hurt.

Alex raised her head "i am fine," she said, "how's shasta?" alex got to her feet and tried to walk. She was wobbly and almost fell Shasta kept moving, except for one leg, that was still.

"She might have a broken leg" said Stephanie while dissmounting Danika and walking over to Alex helping her walk.

"shasta, Shasta!" alex cried. The horse lifted her head and gave a low whinny. "easy girl i'm here, i'm here." she turned to Morgan
"How are we going to get her home?" she asked

"Well I could use my cell phone and phone my aunt who is a vet" Stephanie said while pulling out her cell phone. "Hi auntie I need you to come here right now I am out in the woods" said Stephanie. A few moments later her aunt appeared with a medical kit and halter and leadrope in hand. "Alright" said Stephanie's aunt, Annie.

Alex knelt by Shasta's side petting and talking to her. She barely notice the vet walk up.

"So what happens to be the problem, girls?" asked Annie. "We think that Shasta has a broken leg" said Stephanie. "Oh dear" said Annie who started to examine the leg.
