Bella watched him speed off her head spinning. What is he talking about? Why would he care about the people down at La Plush? Bella shrugged. Thats when she heard the booming voice she hadn't heard in a year.
"Bella Swan. Your not even here one day and your already at the hospital." Jacob said jokingly and smiled encasing her in a bear hug from hell.
Bells choked. "Jacob..I..can't...breath." She said. Once he released her she smiled up at him. "So how've ya been kid?" She asked.
Jacob smiled looking down on her. "Who you callin kid?"

Edward drove his volvo home as fast as it would go and parked it in the garage. He then ran out the garage door and towards Bella's house. He wanted to know what the kid wanted with her, and he was going to find out. Edward jumped on the roof of Bella's house silently and listened to what was happening inside.

After a quick dinner of pizza, Bella and Jacob walked outside. They chatted breifly about childhood memories. Then suddenly Bella remembered what Edward had said. "Jacob? Will you tell me some of the legends about your people?"
Jacob looked at her with a curious smile. "Sure why don't I pick you tomorrow after school and I'll tell them to you. You can pick up your truck." He said with a smile.
Bella nodded. and hugged him goodbye. She watched him through her window drive away in her truck. He was taking it home to fix it so Charlie would have to drive her to school in the morning. Bella sighed thinking about the events of the day. "Way to start off in the school Bella. Alomst getting killed thats a good way to lay low." She said to herself. Then she gathered her PJ's and went to the bathroom. After a long shower Bella laid her bed doing her homework. She checked her e-mail and answered an e-mail from her mother. She decided to leave out the main event of the day. No need to worry her over nothing. Bella yawned and finally decided to go to sleep. After only a few minutes Bella was lost in a dream world. In her dream she was walking through a dark forest. She could hear someone calling her name. Then she saw Jacob some rushing out of the trees looking scared and worried. "Bella! We need to go!" He said with urgency in his voice.

Edward found the conversations pretty boring, but he did only have ears of the kid's, his dad's, and Charlie's minds. When Bella had gotten to sleep, he heard her talking in her sleep. About Jacob. Edward accidentally let out a low growl, but silenced himself quickly. His little slip up didn't make it to bella's ears, thankfully. In the middle of the night, when he knew she was asleep, edward snuck into her room and layed a note on her bedstand. 'Tell Charlie you don't need a ride. I will take you to school.' he didn't sign his name, but figured it didn't matter.

Bella woke up to the sound of her alarm blaring. Groaning she turned it off and wiped her eyes. She got up and looked out the window. Another over cast day. Bella sighed. She walked over to her desk to gather her homework and thats when she saw the note. Bella picked it up and let her eyes rake over there victorian hand writting. She looke around her room and checked her window. It was still locked. Bewilldered Bella put on a plain black tee shirt and a pair of jeans. She went to the bathroom and did her normal rituals. Then she heard the hum of the silver volvo outside. She rushed downstairs a little more giddy then she expected. Charlie was at the table drinking a cup of black coffee he had the news paper up over the fact. "Uh- A friend is driving me to school today." She called out Charlie just waved his hand in response. Bella walked to the front door. She looked in the mirror and then stopped. "What are you doing?" She muttered to herself. Then she walked out her door to see Edward sitting in the drivers seat. The door to her seat was open. She got in and looked at him her eyes clearly asking him how he got that note into her room.

"Good morning." he smiled at her. "How did you sleep?" he asked, reaching over her and closing the car door. He then started the engine and drove away, waiting for a response.

Bella crossed her arms with a sly smile. "I don't know why don't you tell me." She said looking him directly in the eyes. "And do you HAVE to go so fast?!" Bella eye'd the speedometer. Everything around the car was a mix of green and gray.

edward sighed, letting the speedometer drop to about 80. "I hate driving slow." he muttered. He then looked into her eyes and said "I honestly don't know what you are talking about." sounding sincere. He then put on his crooked smile, "Well, maybe I know a little bit." he said, turning to look out his window.

Bella looked at him and couldn't help but smile. "How do you do these things?" She wondered aloud looking at him. "So do I still have to guess about you because truth be told you amaze me." Bella then turned her head and looked out her own window a slight blush coming across her cheeks. Way to be cheesy Bella.

Edward looked at Bella and smiled again. He noticed the blush on her face, and then took a breath, having been holding his breath again. The smell of her made his throat burn again, but she smelt fantastic. "Yes, you still have to guess. The Quillete's legends will give you a hint if you hear the right one. You are going with Jacob later to hear them, am I correct?" he smiled at her. "When you find that out, then I will explain everything, if you still want to be around me of course." he sighed.

Mika ran to school as fast as she could. She wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere, she just love to run really fast. She turned back into he human form when she was close to the school. She was would have to talk to the new girl today. She was interesting... She probably didn't know that she had an encounter with a Vampire, but why he would go with her was interesting... Unless she was just a food source. From what she knew most of the Vampires around here feed on animal blood. Her name was Belle wasn't it? What hour did she have her in... second hour Spanish...

Bella saw that they were almost to the school. She sighed. "Fine play it your way." She smiled even though she was bewilldered as to how he knew she was going down to La Plush. There was definately some thing compelling about Edward Cullen.

"Oh, we will." edward smirked. They then arrived at the school. Edward noticed the local werewolf there and nodded to her as he got out of the volvo. He opened the car door for Bella and then whispered. "Well, if you wanted to know sooner.... you could ask her." he said smiling, pointing to Mika. "Check in with me in lunch, if you still want to talk to me." he said walking away.

Bella looked at Mika. She shrugged and walked up to her. "Hi I'm Bella. I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about Edward Cullen." Bela drilled her with hr dark bue eyes to show hr she knew something just not the whole thing.

That's what his name was. That was covenant. She didn't pay much attention to some of the students, but she did know of the Vampires that went to the school. "Depends on what you want to know. You might not believe me even if I told you," Mika smiled.
Of coarse she new some of the legends and stuff from talking with the other Werewolves in La Plush from time to time. She helped them keep the peace sometimes...
