Lie turns to frown at him. "Hey!!" she pouts and pokes him. But laughs at his comment "ITS true I caught you Firsty!" she smiles fiercely at him, like he is food, but is quickly distracted by his comment and the cube. "Thats true, also I don't trust him and his big hands." she eyes his hands warily, but starts messing with the cube, and is already frustrated.

Howl chuckles. "Smart girl. Let's see if you can figure that little puzzle out." he challenged.
He sat back, taking another sip of the vile brew they served here. "She's really not so bad." he commented to the two pirates in front of him, a smile showing that he was still teasing Lie. "You just have to know how to distract her."

Lie looks up appalled. "HOWL!!!" she frowns and pokes him hard in the side. Then she takes the cube and starts ripping the cubes off and replacing them in order. She then hands Howl a complete cube. "See, I am smart!" Blackey and Firsty laugh. But soon Blackey gets serious. "Lie, I need a favor from you. I have a big mission with big treasure coming up ad I need all the luck I can have, plus I trust your decisions. Would you come on high sea adventures with me?" Lie gets a glint in her eyes but looks nervous. She glances at Howl and says," Ya, but... I ... dunno."

Howl grins, wincing a little at the hard poke. "Just teasing, my dear." He takes the cube, thoroughly messing it up again, then starts to solve the puzzle - the normal way.
Howl sees Lie's indecision, and has a guess as to the cause. "Captain, would you have space for one more crew member on this venture? I assure you, I can be quite useful." As if to demonstrate, the items floating about him turn into such things as a compass and an astrolabe. The cube remains as he finished solving it and hands it back to Lie without a comment.

Lie frowns as Howl starts to show off again. Her method works just as well. She murmurs "show off." but soon she breaks in to a grin when he offers to come along. "Come onnnn Blackey, Ya have ta let him on!" Blackey frowns. He really didn't want Howl coming along. Plus it was a small boat, he might rattle the others. He really just wanted Lie along but if it meant taking Howl along, then fine. He may even be useful with his floating things. Plus being together on a ship for a long time is a sure fire way to make people hate each other. "Fine, but you have to do your share of work." Blackey says grudgingly. Firsty just smiles he knew Blackey would always give into Lie's demands. "Welcome to the crew Howl." Firsty adds with a toast. Lie is rejoicing until he hands her the cube she just glares at him and puts it in one of his pockets. She then stands up on his lap and grabs his drink and yells " FOR HOWL!!" and the rest of the crew yells "FOR HOWL!" and everyone takes a swig and Lie immediately spits hers back out. "Oh god this stuff is FOUL!!" and everyone laughs in a drunken stupor.

Howl saw the hesitation and calculating gleam in the Captain's eyes, and knew he was up to something, though he was not yet sure what. He turned up the charm, vowing to keep an eye on this one. "Of course, Captain. As you command."
He smiles as Lie scowls at him, returning the cube. He allows it to join the others in changing, no longer needing it.
He blinks as his drink is snatched, not particularly sad to see it go. He bowed to the assembled crew, thanking them for their support, and chuckled as Lie spewed ale across the table. "My dear, I do not think ale suits you very well."
"Captain, when do we depart?"

Blackey smiles "You got that right!" he laughs and slaps him on the back. Lie wipes her mouth but still smiling taking his eat as he bows. "YA! When do we go???!!" Blackey gives a narly grin "Tomorrow, get ready" First laughs with him and says"I am off to prepare." Blackey just orders a round of bears for him and his crew getting ready for a night of drunken fun. Lie takes his word and she mutters to Howl "I have ta go pack." and floats off to her 'home'

Having nothing but what he had on him, Howl followed Lie. "Do you mind if I come with you? I have no packing to do." He didn't really feel like sitting around sipping at piss-poor ale and watching others get drunk, and he wasn't sure he wanted to be around the Captain without Lie about just yet.

Lie turns surprised "Ya, I guess, not much to see though. And don't worry about Blackey, he forgets important facts like we can leave in the middle of the ocean, and still kick his a**. He may need reminders every now and then." she says with a fierce smile. She then floats up a couple of floors to the attic of the attic of the building. Inside there is no insulation in the slight area but a bed of now grungy silk, a necklace with a cross on it, and worn picture of a smiling couple in front of a large building built into a mountain. This was in a rudimentary frame. Next to that was a coin purse made of pretty scraps Lie found. It looks like it could induce epilepsy. She turns to Howl, "Welcome to my abode." she says with a slight smile she opens up a little denim backpack with a silver stitched dragon on the left side of the smaller pocket on the front. She puts everything in it and says, "That was quick aye, I just need to drop this off on the boat and dawn should be coming soon so we will be leaving soon anyways. I need to roast them all first of course." she says with her usual giggle.

"I am not worried, just... cautious. Perhaps a carryover from my life, I do not know. I am wary of humans, interesting as they may be."
He follows her up to the attic, admiring her collection. He especially likes the colorful coin purse. "Thank you, my dear. It is very pleasant." He is curious as to the couple in the picture, but does not want to bring up any hard memories, should they exist.
He smiles at her good humor, glad he is able to stay with her longer. "After you, m'lady." He gives another of his deep, flourishing bows.

Lie laughs "I am exactly the opposite, I love humans, i just want to know more." she turns curiously "Aren't you going to ask? What all this stuff is? Everyone else does?" she then falls out of the attic and lithly lands on the filthy streets below. "Your too nice Howl! Now come onnn." She runs ahead to the ship with her backpack.

He chuckles, gliding gracefully to the street and following her at a more dignified pace.
"Hard to ask, with you quite so far away." He muttered to himself in amusement. Perhaps later he would ask about the people in the photo, and the other items. There would be plenty of time on the ship for stories.

Lie squeels as she runs up the gangplank and goes into the lower deck to out of reach corner with one hammock and self. She puts her stuff on the shelf and turns to show off her home away from home."Howl, lookie this is where I always stay on the ship, ain't it pretty!"

The sheltered, tucked-away corner was not what anyone would call fancy, but it was... cozy. It fit her nicely.
"Magnificent, my dear." he looked around. "Now the question is, where shall I bunk? I do not know which of these hammocks are in use, and which I might make use of." He turned back to Lie. "Do you?"

Lori lie grins but soon turns down into a pout but looks around at all of the hammocks. "I guess all of them but I won't know until Blackey ships off. He may have less crew, or more than he planned. But I thought you would-" Lie hears the slam of feet on the ship. "THERE HERE!!!!" he squeals and starts going up. She stops and looks back at Howl,"Come on! We can find out which hammocks are gunna be used."
