"Yuck," voiced Riima quietly, a look of disgust on her face. She glanced up at Monroe. She was still looking at Kenan. She looked his was too and he was still blushing.

"Riima, be nice." Monroe whispered to Riima. She still had a pretty bad impression of Madeline, thinking her a crazed, overly-territorial vixen. "I guess you all can stay here while I..." She paused, leaving Riima here might be troublesome, "I... I mean while Riima and I go off to hunt! She might not seem it, but she is really quite good and needs to sharpen her skills, so!" She sniffed the air briefly, nudged Riima, and began her "hunt". She walked slow at first, waiting for Riima to catch up.
"Well... Um..." Kenan looked around him. He eased up a little seeing as two of the five foxes had departed, even if it were for a short while.

Riima gave one last glance at the fox by the bush then to the silver male. She then scurried after Monroe, a little nervous at turning her back on the hostile female.

Once out of sight and hearing range of their little 'troupe', Monroe broke out in a fit of giggles, "Look, now, we- we ditched them!" Gaining control of herself, she grinned at the now teenage fox. "You didn't think I'd let them in on the secret, hm? Once a den is deemed vacant, many would try to inhabit it. I don't really trust those others back there, so how about it?" She picked up her pace just a little, "Wanna see my cave? Now?" Her smile was that of a kit who'd impressed his father at his first hunt.

Riima was startled by Roe's sudden attitude change. But, she perked up her ears and walked in front of the larger fox and stood there. "I'm not going in any water, right?" She questioned, it wasn't that she was scared, she just didn't want to get wet.

"No water at all.. Unless you fall." Monroe felt as if she were Riima's age again. The fresh ocean breeze, now far more conspicuous, filled her head with memories. "I won't let you fall! I'll guard you with my life, promise!" She smiled, walked around Riima, and resumed her pace. "Don't you worry! My home is really quite safe!" She was being absolutely obstinate at that moment, but she couldn't wait to get home.

"Thanks," she replied sarcastically. "What if the others follow us?" Riima questioned, glancing warily over her shoulder. Monroe seemed suddenly carefree and kit-like, but Riima was still worried about Madeline.

"Oh, they won't." Monroe grinned, "Cause I installed quite a few traps around my cave that only I know how to get through!" Was she getting out of control? She certainly thought so herself, but she just couldn't help it.

'Wow,' Riima thought to herself. 'I think she might of snapped..'
She walked behind Roe much more composed. "Traps..? I hope I don't get caught in one then." She giggled nervously but followed regardless.

Monroe giggled, "I was kidding 'bout the traps." She nodded slightly, "My cave is perfectly hidden on the cliffside! The only was someone would find it is if they decided to go way far out into the ocean and looked up at the cliffs." Several glimmers of the ocean could now be seen from where they were standing.

"I don't know who would do that anyways," Riima replied picking up the pace now. She could smell the ocean and that got her excited.

Monroe's eyes lit up, whether it was from the radiance of the sun or her enthusiasm, she ran the last few paces to the sand. For a long moment she just stood there, rooted to the ground separating beach and forest, her eyes sparkling as she gazed out at the vast ocean beyond.

Hydro had waited for what seemed like forever for Riima and Monroe to return from their hunt though it had really been less than a hour. He looked at Kenan "Want to go hunt for ourselves? I really am getting hungry and Roe and Riima aren't back yet." he asked Kenan, planning to go alone if Kenan declined the offer, he really was hungry.

"Sure, I'm up for that!" Kenan smiled, he was far more uncomfortable in the presence of females. Now he could concentrate on the hunt. "So what do you wanna go after?" He smirked, as if he was never shy, hadn't stuttered once in his life.

"I'll pass. I'm not hungry." Madeline said. She had been laying in the shade since Riima and Monroe had disappeared. She honestly began to doubt the two would come back. They were already friends, why would they come back to three strangers? Madeline laid her head in her paws. Wondering what she would do after this. Probably travel somewhere she was getting rather bored here.
