Interestingly enough, its already August of this fine year, and we're doing a bit of cleaning throughout the guild, especially in the profiles. For y'all vampires, I'm asking you resubmit your profile again. If you've posted it before, there is a link right up top to go to for copy and pasting.
The old storyline has not completely ended, and be ready for Chapter three, as well as the NEXT STORYLINE. WOOO.

Happy Fall everyone...hopefully exams are going well, for those of you in school having exams, and hopefully fall is treating everyone well.
The current storyline is still unfolding a bit, and this all will lead into another storyline so stay posted on that. I will update here once the new part of the storyline is in. And please make sure you remember that you are literate in your role playing. We're not all perfekt spellrs and i'm not either, but do try to use proper grammer and spell things correctly. No godmodding.
Remember. If you have a question PM Black Cat Goddess or me (blackrogue), and if the question is in regards to your race, then PM your appropriate leader of the race. No need to flood Rikku's box with random PMs...

Happy Holidays to everyone!
We are looking for a new storyline, so be sure to post ideas in the Storyline thread in the OOC subforum. What will spark some massive RP....what gets everyone involved, or potentially involved?
On another note...players who are dating members of another race...this is more often than not a war between the species trying to take over New York.

Happy new year to all. Excuse my long inactivity, I'm rather busy as of late.
Just to inform you that I have as of now turned off PMs and friend requests. I'm beginning to tire of logging in to 'how i join ure guild lol' every time. My PMs are now friends only for a while, so if it is deadly important, please contact a moderator who will pass it on to me.

Hello all, your friendly neighborhood Neko here. I just wanted to clarify some things regarding the recent storyline. There has been quite a bit of meta gaming going on, and the crew are not at all happy to see that. If you don't know what meta gaming is, it is defined as your character acting on logic based on what you, the player, knows, rather than acting on information that only the character knows.
So, while YOU might know what's going on in the storyline, your character could be completely clueless and it is good RPing to act only on what your character knows. If we see any more examples of meta gaming from here on out, the crew will be far less easy on you than we would have before. And by far less easy, we mean warnings and banning.

The current storyline is still running, and I just wanted to let all the Vampires know that there is now a must read update in the Traitors to the Race section of the Vampires subforum almost like a subplot for the vampires who aren't involved in the current storyline. The next installation of the storyline is getting finished.
Remember, it is always rude to godmod. We are all guilty of it at some point, but really, if you're godmoding, knock it off. And make sure, whatever race you are, remember the attitude your character would probably have towards other races. It most likely wouldn't be friendly. Also, strive to be as literate as you can in your posts. ((This is a literate RP after all.))

Sorry for all the wanna-be mothers out there, but there are a few things we'd like to point out about the races and child-bearing. Make sure y'all read closely.
Vampires canNOT have babies. Their bodies do not have the capability to nourish a child. And if you want to argue about this, don't.
No half-breeds. (Remember this rule? It doesn't happen in this guild. Get over it.)
Tainted can bear child, but only with other tainted.
Lycans can also have children but only with other lycans.
And humans CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN!
Just kidding.

Let me just add to this whole baby thing to make it a bit clearer.
Vampires Vampire male + Vampire female = Not gonna happen. Vampires are essentially dead, you cannot make a baby without the body functioning as if it was living. There are no exceptions to this. Vampire male + any race female = Still not happening. How can the vampire create the necessary 'tool' needed to make the baby if he is dead? Vampire female + any race male = Still no. Can't carry a baby without the required bodily functions. Vampires CANNOT have babies.
Lycan Lycan male + Lycan female = Yes. A pup can be born. Lycan male + Human female = Would work, but at the expense of the life of the female. The wolf pup would resent being carried in a human body and rip itself free. Thus, killing the mother. (As I said, there are no half breeds in this RP) Lycan female + Human male = Not happening. The essentials would be rejected by the female's body. Lycans CAN have babies. With each other, only.
Tainted Tainted male + Tainted female = Yes. Tainted male + any race female = No. Just no. Tainted female + any race male = Similar to the Lycan + Human scenario. Tainted CAN have babies. With each other, only.
Human ...Yes. But only with each other. Humans CAN have babies. With each other, only.
There are no exceptions to this. If you joined the Vampires, you are a vampire. Your body is dead, therefore you cannot procreate. There are no 'special cases'. Likewise if you joined any of the other races or factions.
I apologise for this, but if you really wanted to play happy families this probably isn't the RP for you.

Lets think about this. God modding is no fun for anyone. So don't do it. And remember, we are in the middle of a city. Be a bit more discreet. When in a dark alleyway and killing someone is a stark difference from being in the middle of central park with a whole army squad of people in the middle of the night. There are police and other means to get noticed by. So please be a bit more realistic in thinking about being in a city, noticablilty, and all that jazz.
Oh, and dropping the F BOMB is inappropriate seeing this is a PG-13 guild. So if you must swear, there should be >*************
Also, if you're bored, chat it up in the OOC or something. Always stuff to chat a bout there. Get to know some other RPers. Maybe even PM someone to RP.
Hopefully spring is going well for everyone...

Go team. The new storyline has just been posted. -EXPOSURE Pt. 1-Check it OUT and start RPing. Also, if you'd like a bit of DNY history through the storylines about previous storylines we have had, check out the STORYLINE -History through the storylines Sticky. Always interesting to look at.

Make sure you're literate in RPing.

Oh, fantastic. Its April Fools Day. But, there's no nonsense in this update, as the third installment of the storyline is up, "Exposure Pt. 3" so please check it out in the storyline sticky. Happy Spring as well, its getting nice out...at least in New England. Fantastic.

Morning all, I'm alive again and ready to get stuck into things back here. Having trouble replacing the banner at the moment because Gaia keeps giving me errors about it but will get that sorted asap.
Hope everyone's having a glorious summer and has done well in any exams etc, now to get our RP on!
Doing some forum cleaning also so if things look messy for a while, my fault, will try sort it as soon as possible.
