Joey attempted to lift Jed and throw him onto the table, trying to clash his head against the top to daze him until he could complete his next plan.

The heretic is always better dead...

Joey quickly leapt onto the apron, and climbed to the top turnbuckle. He raised his arm as he leapt across the sky, hoping to hit an elbow drop on Jed... or as some fans might know it, the 'Leap of Faith'.

... And mortal eyes cannot distinguish the saint from the heretic.
