Tinkerbelle giggled at how dramatic Erik could be, and the soft roll of his laugh. She beamed at him as her legs kicked back forth gaily. She liked sitting up high, it was a lot of fun.

"Erik is a good name, it's strong." she agreed. "I don't think I had any nicknames besides Tink in my play. It's a little hard to remember huh? I wonder if someday we'll forget all together because we have new memories."

Tink must have been away from her play longer than he had. It wasn't like he remembered everything completely clearly, but more like it had happened to him a long time ago, or something like that. He wondered if it would get harder and harder for him to remember too.

"You know," Erik mused. "I don't think I'll mind." People out here, outside the book, didn't mind about his mask, and didn't bother him about what was underneath it. Except Addy, but she was sorry she did and if she ever mentioned it, she knew she'd be in trouble. Erik wouldn't let that happen again anyway. "I like these new memories."

"But maybe we could go see your play," he suggested. "Sometime together, if you want."

Tinkerbelle was one of the first to emerge from the book, only behind Simba. She kicked her legs and mused over it. She also remembered it as if it was something that happened a long time ago, it's harder too because her part was pretty small even if the role was rather large.

"I don't mind ether." Tinkerbelle said decively. What she did remember, most of all, was the indnity of Peter ignoring her for that stupid Wendy, and while her Peter now seems content to ignore her for any woman who happens to be his size. She didn't like that but this time she also had other people. Like Erik, and Beast, who paid her lots of attention. "I like my new friends, like you." she complimented, giving him a bright smile as her hand moved over to be placed over his.

"That be fun!" she admited. "And maybe someday we can see yours."

Erik nodded happily at Tink's comment, but he blushed a little when she put her hand on his, but he didn't recoil. He adjusted his mask with his other hand and laughed.

As for watching his play, he wasn't so sure about that, but he didn't say so. He didn't want her to see his other form, or what was really behind his mask.

Tinkerbelle smiled at him, though she noticed how he kept on adjusting his mask. She really did want to know what was behind it though she was sure it wasn't pretty, if it was pretty he wouldn't need a mask.

She wanted to prove something though, but Tinkerbelle knew that to prove she was trustworthy she first needed to have his trust, so she'd wait, until a later date.

"I wonder when they'll come looking for us," Erik asked, not necessarily to Tink. If he knew his mother, she either already knew where he was by now and was just watching him, or she had gotten distracted by something interesting. He didn't care either way.

Tinkerbelle looked down, a bit sad thinking about when they come. "Peter isn't going to come until he has too." she said, a bit quietly and then she forced herself to turn to Erik and smile at him. "I don't care." she delcared in a tone that said she did care, very, very much. "It's much better being here with Erik then with him."

Erik could see behind her words easily and decided once again that he definitely did not like Peter. He furrowed his brown and frowned. "He doesn't deserve you," he said in defiance, taking Tink's hand in his again. "Maybe you really should run away. You could stay with me. Mom's house is big enough, even though it doesn't look it." He wondered if his mother would be okay with that. Would Tink really be okay with it? She really seemed to like Peter, which made Erik even more angry, but he tried hard to hide it.

Tinkerbelle smiled at what Erik said but she shook her head. "If I ran away I'd just be giving him what he wanted." she reasoned, though in reality Erik was right. Tinkerbelle did like Peter. She liked him a lot and she wanted him to like her. She didn't get why he didn't. Other people liked her...

Erik sighed. "Okay then," he conceded. "We'll just have to make him treat you better." Erik was serious. He'd make him, or he'd pay for it. The problem was he didn't really know how to affect a big adult like him, how to manipulate him into doing what he wanted. But Tink might be right, her running away might not make him change at all.

Erik reached into his pocket, feeling the little sliver of a mirror that his mother had given him. Maybe that thing was how she found him all the time, he wondered. But either way, he knew what he wanted to do with it.

"Tink," Erik started, a little sheepishly. "Take this," he said. "Mommy has a lot of them, so I can just get another one." He pulled out the little mirror, a square about two inches on a side, and held it out to her. "It's special magic that mommy made. You just look at it and think about the person you want to talk to, but they have to have a mirror too, just like it. They know you're calling and can answer it. If you want, you can have it, so we can talk any time you want to." He blushed slightly and adjusted his mask with his free hand.

Tinkerbelle kicked her legs as she looked out. She smiled a little at Erik's promise to make Peter change but she wasn't sure if it ever happen, but she didn't mind, at least that's what she told herself. She had nice friends, like Erik, and Beast. They liked her best. Her hands tightened as she promised herself that.

They like her best.

She turned though when Erik said her name, sounding a little sheepish. She looked at him with wide little eyes at what he was offering. She was silent when she took it, looking over the mirror before a small smile curled her lips. Tinkerbelle held it tightly as she threw her arms around Erik, tightly.

"Thanks Erik, I love it!"

Erik was startled by her thanks and instinctively went to hold his mask in place. "You're welcome," he said a little uncertain, maybe a little embarrassed. He knew his face must be red, again, but he gave her a little hug back. Maybe it would go away before she let go.

Her hair was soft and smelled nice and Erik began to relax a little in her embrace as he noticed that. He really liked Tink. She was nice and pretty and everything his sisters were not. She liked to talk to him, and it was nice that she was the same as him... from that book.

When their embrace did break, he caught himself smiling a little dumbly at her, and straitened his mask again, 'fixing' his expression in the process.

Tinkerbelle let out a laugh as she could almost feel his embaressment. She pulled back and smiled as he held o to his mask. He was so shy, it really was rather cute in it's own way. The important thing was that he was super nice, and she loved that about him.

She really liked him too, and was glad to have something to prove that. She looked down at the mirror before she sliped it into her pocket. She'd enjoy this a lot.

"Come on, we should play another game." she invited, in a good mood again as she smiled at him brightly.

"Okay." In truth, Erik had been getting a little antsy, since all they were doing was sitting up there. He was glad for a distraction from his embarrassment too.

Tinkerbelle tried to think of a good game. It was pretty hard since it was just the two of them but she mused over her choices and then smiled.

"Let's play explorer! We'll be two explorers trying to find the special treasure, we have to look all around, okay?" Tinkerbelle suggested, smiling brightly at her smart idea.
