The uni-cat's tail continued to wave as he watched Carlos swing, snickering at the comment of the others crush. "Just tell them you met a ninja instead." He purred, "I have to be in the right mind frame to do it..." Running was a hard thing for him, just with the mentality of it all; the self discipline.

Chuckling, Carlos nodded. "Okay... they might still be disappointed though... can I say you're one of the ninjas from G.I. Joe? My dad might let you step inside the house then." His tail swept around again. He was joking completely. He wasn't even interested in Tomo. There was just no possibility. He was more like... an older brother he had never met. His smile was lost, but there was no sadness in his expression either as he gazed up at Tomo. But that was just silly. They'd only just met.

Tomo couldn't help but snicker, moving to stand and balance on the bars, "Sure, tell them that." His tail waved, "Your dad, hm? So that means it's hard to get permission to go to your house? Would he throw stuff at me if I ever dropped by?" He was still joking, considering he didnt have a clue where the other lived. This was actually kind of nice, just hanging out with another hybrid.
It was nice to see the others smile instead of his tears; he returned the grin.

"I'll do that then..." He watched the other curiously, setting that strange feeling aside. "Throw things?" he giggled. "How about fists? Do those count?" he asked, grinning ear to ear. He recovered fast, at least while distractions were present.

Tomo's ears perked and then laughed. "I see. Your dad goes around throwing punches at any strangers that come around?" Tail waving he walked on the bars, arms out as he balanced.

Carlos watched wide-eyed from below. 'Walking' with his hands, he leaned up and tickled the other's toes with a claw and a grin. "Sort of... he's actually pretty easy-going about that sort of thing unless someone says the wrong thing." The wrong thing was probably too broad a phrase. "I should say... he is rather protective that way," he added with a smile.

Tomo's ears perked and lifted the foot, balancing as it was tickled snickering lightly, tail waving. "Ah, so what if I pretend to be a mute? Then I can't say anything wrong." He chuckled, "Protective is good, to an extent." His brothers were rather... clingy. Not so much protective, but just clingy and sometimes suffocating.

"Wouldn't it be funny if I kept saying, 'Tomo says this,' if you were supposedly mute?" Imagine all the stares. "He lets me do my own thing, but some of the guys we know are dangerous."

The uni-cat laughed, "That would be amusing!" Tail waving he finally moved and let his legs dangle over side as he sat again. "Must make life seem interesting?" He didn't really know any 'dangerous' people...

Tired of hanging, Carlos dropped to the mat below and crawled out before climbing back up again. "I suppose so." He chuckled, "It still seems funny that a ninja wouldn't know any 'dangerous' people. You're dangerous."

Carlos stuck his tongue out at the other unicat. "Well, that may be. You can keep a dangerous person from putting you in danger too..." Or at least that was his hope. That was what he was hoping with Adrian.

Tomo gave a small nod, "Yes, though I try to avoid those kind of people." It also depended on the type of danger too.

"Hm." He was not sure whether Tomo was lucky that way, or simply avoidant. For Carlos, what he knew had been that way all of his life. He grinned suddenly and jumped down, looking back up at Tomo when he landed. "Hey... wanna swing?"

It was probably a little bit of both, though he chose to avoid those kind of people even though it was inevitable sometimes. Ear perking he watched Carlos jump down then looked at the swings then back down grinning. "Sure!" Purring, he slide between the bars then crawled back out. "Race you there~!" He laughed lightly before taking off towards the swing set.
