No, that's not being racist. You just prefer a partner with a specific race, which is Japanese, but you're not trying to ignore or hate a person of a different race to be friends with, right?
I'd prefer to have a partner of an Hispanic or South-East Asian race, but that doesn't mean I won't befriend other people with different backgrounds. Multiculturalism interests me. XD

I guess just don't be overly obsessed. That becomes annoying no matter what race it's over. sweatdrop But nah, that's not awful; it's the same as if you like a certain color eyes or hair. Of course, you should like someone because of more than just surface deep things than that, but it's natural to be attracted to a certain trait... heart

Nekoinsanity Well, I am really attracted to Asians, Japanese people in particular, does that technically make me racist in any way? What if I would choose a Japanese guy over a black, white, Mexican, Korean, or Chinese guy, even though Im white? I am the same way. There's nothing rung with that.

Okay, I want to keep this conversation between girls only. Ive been crushing asian guys since I was 11 years old. I see most asians , even females, to be very attractive. I weep when I see other asian girls because they are so pretty and its easy for them to attract guys. I used to think of myself cursed because of my mixed race. I could never have a good looking asian guy as my boyfriend. They would always think of me as a asian wannabe and an outcast from my own race. Ive even been called names from other people like oreo, blackulla, and pocahontas and before I knew it the asians started to call me those names. It was hard for me all my life bacause of my race. So others who are like me, I totally understand what you are going through and not all asian are that way. My aunt is japanese and she is a sweetheart, so is one of my best friends, he is japanese and we are like brother and sister.

that's not racist at all lol it shouldn't matter who u like its great to like someone no matter how they look or what nationality background they're from...my first bf was an asian and we dated for 4 yrs heart ...but i guess it was time for him to go and be my guardian angel...i do miss him alot though

K so sorry if I haven't read through all the posts on this, I'm just commenting on the first post's topic.
As an Asian female, I have to say we have a name for people who only like Asians.
"Yellow Fever"
