Tvinna swam closer to Godric and nudged him. "Those are the only words to the song, you just repeat them over and over! I bet you could sing along too!" she said as she gave him a playful wink and began to sing again. "...When I was young it seemed like life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical...."

Godric nodded and joined in when he thought he could. "Then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible, logical, oh responsible, practical. And then they showed me a world where I could be something fathomable, political, oh intellectual, cynical." His voice wasn't all that nice, but he was trying.

Tvinna smiled as Godric began to sing in, and let him have his own turn singing before joining back in and singing with him in harmony. "When I was young it seemed like life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical. And all the birds in the trees well they'd be singing so happily, oh joyfully, oh playfully, watching me... having fun?"

Godric smiled and stopped singing to say. "Yeah, this is fun. And I think we are almost there." Godric pointed up to where the mountains were almost right there. Just beyond the trees they stood.

"We are?" Tvinna asked as she looked up and was amazed to see the mountain so close. It was huge compared to what she thought it would be like, and they had gotten there so quickly. She sped up as she tried to get to the actual base even faster, and glances back at Godric.

Godric nodded as he swam a bit faster. "Yeah, and the water is getting cooler." He said as he tried to keep up with Tvinna. The water was from the mountain so it made sense to be cooler.

Tvinna blinked before running her paw through the water again. It was getting colder, and she hadn't even noticed! "That's cool... Literally!" she said and she went below the surface and felt the rush of the cool water flow over her body.

Godric chuckled. He too dunked under the water. It was nice. It really felt good on the hot summer's day. Godric poped his head back above the water. "They look so big this close up, huh?" He asked as he looked up in awe.

Tvinna nodded as she craned her neck to look up at the towering cliffs. "They are so much bigger than I could have imagined they'd be. This is my first time coming near some, so it's really cool!"

"Well, now that is exciting! I'm glad I could take you somewhere you haven't been. Now if we just find the hot springs we'll go somewhere I haven't been." He chuckled as he kept swimming up the river.

Tvinna laughed and nodded as she stopped swimming for a moment to wait for him to catch up. "Wouldn't that be great? Especially if we found it by nighttime! Yeah... by nighttime..." she looked up at the sun that was easily passed noon by now and sighed.

Godric looked at the sun and noticed how late it at already gotten. He then spied some bushes that had berries on them. "Want to take a nice lunch break?" he got out of the water and walked over to the bush. He shook his fur dry before getting a few and eating them.

Tvinna looked over at Godric and watched where he got out, smiling as she noticed the berries. "Sure!" she happily chimed as she swam over there and climbed out after him, not bothering to cry herself and just sitting there wet. She plucks some raspberries and generously plopped them into her mouth. "Yummy!"

Godric ate the berries with a smile. They were good and it was nice to take a break from their 'mission'. "You know this is a nice spot." As he looked around he noticed flowers and the river went into a nice pool.

Tvinna looked around and nodded. "It really is!" she agreed as she plopped another berry into her mouth, her tail wagging happily behind her. She glanced at the starts of the river, the pond that was and view, and looked for any more trails. There were none. "I guess we'll have to walk next, huh?"
