hate to burst your bubble kuroda, but all those things cost ALOT devilfish (transport) is CENSORED, i think thats quite a bit more than the SM's transport. so any other skimmers, ie. skyray, would be alot more costly. kroot if i remember correctly are around CENSORED points a model, im not too sure if thats reeally expensive or not... i dont think so, but in terms of toughness... and how long they last, they drop about as fast as nids. im not saying that having a full-out kroot army backed up with skyray skimmers wouldnt be friggin awesome, or playable... just really hard, because it would cost so much.

neo, a kroot costs as much as a space marine then, if it is CENSORED pts/kroot
which would make it kinda expensive

Out of curiosity, wouldn't this make the army review thread illegal? I mean, we post the point cost for every unit in the army.

Exactly. You're allowed to list how much each unit costs, but now how much each model/weapon/piece of wargear is. That way, people who already know the costs are perfectly in the know on how balanced something is, and people who don't know the smaller costs aren't entitled to any "free" information for building their army.

I figured someone would post that sooner or later, and not really, I mean it's not hard to figure out information.
http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=1751300&page=19
Take the second post as an example.
Most posts will list vehicles point cost, infantry point cost (Many basic infantry are unaltered so it's easier to figure ), and other such information. I think the only thing that's difficult to figure out would be the elites or HQ choices in most cases. I'm not trying to baww over it or whatever, I personally don't think Games Workshop is going to target a bunch of kids and young adults on an anime-based roleplaying community in a somewhat obscured guild network - especially since we aren't making money off of them and everyone here probably already has at least one codex. But it's just in the spirit of fairness, if you're going to edit one persons post because it has the cost of unit then why not edit all of them?

For the love of the Emperor, man, just let it drop. The rules are the rules. This is based off of GW policy, so just abide by it.
Also, back to Shooty Commanders:
In Codex: Chaos Daemons there are two gifts of Tzeentch that allow for ridiculous shooting: We Are Legion and Master of Sorcery. Master of Sorcery allows for two shooting attacks to be done in a single turn and We Are Legion allows them to target each shot independently.
