I ran my hands up his back and pulled his head closer to mine so he would be able to hear me over the thrumming of the bass of the music, which in turn pressed his body even closer to mine. "Would you like a drink?" I half-yelled. My hands traveled down his back, kneading.

"I um... I don't drink." Well, that was technically true. He was still too young to drink. Who needed alcohol anyway? He felt lightheaded and giddy enough without it. "Maybe a Coke or something". Not that he was in a rush to leave the dance floor anyway. He was close enough that he could feel Markus' pulse, slower than his own but still a surprise to him. Caught up in the moment, he lightly brushes his lips against Markus' neck in an affectionate nuzzle.

I shrugged, my body continuing to sway to the flow of the music, dangerously close to Teddy's. "Suit yourself," I said. "I'll be right back, I promise." I kissed him on the cheek, feeling his warm lips against my neck - a tingle shooting down my spine - and almost reluctantly seperated myself from him, walking over to the bar and leaning against it. "White Russian," I declared over the loudness of the music. The bartender nodded and began to prepare the drink. I took a seat for the moment. I wasn't tired or anything, just patiently waiting. When the drink was served, I took a gratuitous swig - mostly so none would slosh onto the dance floor; why waste a perfectly good drink? - and ordered a Coke, then making my way back to Teddy.

Teddy took a moment to cool off while Markus went to get the drinks. He fanned himself with one hand and took off his hair-tie. It wasn't really that hot in the club, was it? Markus returned and Teddy took his Coke. "Thanks." He grinned at the vampire and let the thought go. He wasn't thinking much at all with Markus. Well, he was having fun; you didn't have to think a lot for fun. Teddy took a gulp of the cool drink before pressing close to Markus again and looping his arms over the man's shoulders, careful not to spill the rest of the soda.

Teddy was quick to press his body back against mine and loop his arms around my neck, which made me grin. He was awfully trusting, for someone who had started this night - a night which I would surely remember for a very long time - was terrified of me. I hooked my arms around his waist and nuzzled his neck. I brought my hands up and took a sip of my drink from behind his back, then came back around to face him. The music was slower now, not exactly a ballad, but something close to it. How convenient.

"You know, I always figured you guys only drank, um. Well, you know." Why he felt uncomfortable talking abut drinking blood but perfectly comfortable dancing with a vampire who thought his fear smelled 'delectable' was something Teddy couldn't answer. To start with, he couldn't begin to say why he was suddenly not ready to flee willy-nilly from Markus. He could come up with a reason or two, but they were really bad reasons.
Yet actually talking about vampirism was an awkward conversation for him. Well, when else would he ever get a chance to bust any remaining myths in his mind? Sure, the existence of vampires was well known and accepted, but he'd still never met any. He knew almost as little as he would if they were still legendary bedtime stories to scare kids onto the straight and narrow. "Do you eat stuff too? Would you taste it?" Did blood even taste the same to a vampire? Because it sure didn't seem appealing to him.

I threw my head back and laughed, then rested my forehead against his, still chuckling. "Well, for starters, we dont' only drink blood. It sustains us. We can drink other things and eat other things, but they're not nearly as fulfilling. Drinking blood for us is an almost..." I hesitated to say the next. "...sexual experience. We can taste food, and it does fill us up, but not the right way. Not the way blood does." I continued to chuckle as I ground my body tight against his.

Teddy supposed he deserved the laugh; it was a pretty dumb question when he really thought about it. But to think of it as almost a sexual experience... Teddy couldn't even imagine that. The thought slipped his mind again as Markus ground against him. He gyrated with Markus' movements, thinking to himself that this dance was an almost sexual experience. And that was when the thought hit him again and tumbled right out of his mouth. "Does that mean you're going to bite me?"
He wasn't sure which was more embarrassing; that he was asking another stupid question or that he'd pretty much admitted he expected a sexual encounter with someone he'd barely met. That just wasn't like him. Or so he'd thought anyway, but his own mouth proved otherwise. Face completely red, Teddy looks away and mumbles "Forget I asked that. Never mind." He chews his bottom lip nervously.

"Have fun boys..." i said quietly, grinning, I whipped around to face the bartender whom was busy with other people. "Hey!! HEY!! I want a drink!!" i yelled over the music, he faced me and sighed, "Wait your turn." I growled and clammered over the bar, "Do I have to flash you to make my drink or should I just make it myself?!" "You could do both!" I laughed and began helping out the poor bartender and finally made my own Mai Tai. I walked behind the bartenderand traced my fingers over his shoulder, "Thanks darling," I said and walked out of the bar area and onto the dance floor. I found a random person to grind with and grind I did.

I laughed again, lighter this time. Teddy was charmingly shy. I traced my lips down the line of his jaw to his neck. "Maybe," I said cryptically. I heard commotion over at the bar and saw Kit climbing over the counter as people yelled at her. "Oh, Jesus," I said, rolling my eyes.

Teddy was much too distracted by the feel of Markus' lips on his flushed skin to pay any attention to what commotion was going on at the bar. It would have slipped his notice entirely if Markus had not turned his attention to Kit. "Oh, wow. She's... energetic. Maybe I shouldn't be keeping you from your friend." Teddy said a little sheepishly. Of course, Kit seemed able to entertain herself pretty easily. She wasn't at all shy; Teddy envied her that.

I pulled Teddy tighter to me. "No," I gasped. "No, no, I want to stay with you." I nuzzled my face in his neck, hands tangling in his hair. I didn't know the boy, but damn... There was something about him that was so tempting.

That reaction startled Teddy. It was actually a little scary that Markus was suddenly so possessive. It made his heart skip a beat, then pound way too fast as if to catch up. "I'm... I'm not going anywhere." He replied quietly. And he had to guiltily admit to himself that, frightened or not, he was still fascinated with Markus. He wanted to be held close and obsessed over by an attractive man. Even if the attractive man in question scared him out of his wits sometimes.

Teddy's speeding heartbeat made me grin. The sound was better than the sweetest music I'd ever heard. I traced the contours of his warm body with my hands. I rested my chin on his shoulder and inhaled his scent. It was intoxicating.

A soft, involuntary sound of pleasure left Teddy's lips. He was immensely glad for the loud music in the club. "I've got to get some air." Teddy couldn't clear his head; he felt like he was being swept along in a tide. Was he just that desperate for attention or was it Markus? Teddy was willing to bet it was a little of both. But if he was just that desperate, he had to calm down and think before things got out of hand. No, things were already out of hand, weren't they?
((Yes. Yes, we really do. lol Because I'll be sad if we don't have enough to keep playing. Teddy is funny to play.))
