I pulled out my last knife, a small one that could be easily thrown. "You sure about this Tammy?" I looked her up and down and nodded finally. "You're determined to do this. Good luck. I slowly twirled the throwing knife, waiting to see if any of these clowns would try something stupid. Being as pissed off as I am, that wasn't going to take much. Sighing I began scanning the area in detail, trying to figure out how to improve Tammy's chances of surviving this sick freak's games. Noticing that the mermaids were on pulleys using ropes I grinned. If things go the way they seem to be heading I can really piss off this sick ********>

I stepped forawrd realizing that not only do I live if I win, but they do too. I looked at Harold and took a deep breath, I climbed into the water, clothes and all.
Harold threw his head back and laughed, "What's this?! Your gonna put the puny annorexic girl in the water!! She'll die of pneumonia!!" Harold laughed some more and then Looked straight at Tammy, "Very well." He hissed, "The first one to reach the other side is the winner, and remeber, anything goes in these games!!" He laughed and held a gun up and counted to three, on three, he pulled the triger. The clowns started to pull their mermaids as other clowns came out and started throwing random objects at Tammy. She swam quickly but was swallowing alot of water, still, she pushed herself to make it to the other side. One of the clowns, Clown 13 to be exact, was in the lead, that was, untill, Mark threw his smaller knife and cut 13's rope. The mermaid sank and Tammy reached the other side, hand slapping the tiled floor in exclamation of her winning. "Hey!! You killed my mermaid!!" Harold screamed at Mark as he retrieved his knife. Mark looked up at the clown and grinned in return, "Anything goes!" he said, holding his arms up. Harold started laughin, "i like you allready!!" He continued to laugh as he left with the other clowns following suit. Lungs filled with water, Tammy collapsed on the tiled floor and began coughing all the water up, Her lips blue and shivering even more, she climbed to her feet as the group ran to her.

((nice, that is EXACTLY what I was planning on doing))
Mark pulled off his shirt and draped it around Tammy's shoulders. "Excellent job Tammy." He picked her up and carried her away from the pool. Reaching a section of seating that was relatively safe he set her down and slowly began squeezing the water out of her hair. "Breath slowly and deeply. It'll help warm you back up." He glanced up at Adam and Cassandra, "Come huddle around her. She's cold and we've only got each other for warmth. He slowly sheathed his knifes and took one of Tammy's hands and rubbed it between his hands.

I shivered and took slow deep breaths like Mark told me, I looked over at Adam and gave a weak smile, "How did I do?" I asked him.

I did as I was told and stood close to the girl named Tammy....but I didn't look at anybody. I was too busy staring at that annoying clown. The piece of wood was still in my hands, I had picked it back up before we left the tented area. I gripped it tightly, the stray splinters breaking off.
"You sick b*****d! Go to hell!" I yelled, throwing my piece of support beam at him.
"Go dig a ditch and die!"

I hurried over to Tammy and hugged her close to me. Body heat was what she needed right now. I stripped off my shirt so the heat would be un-blocked and huddled tighter to her. "What the hell is this ******** problem?" I breathed in her ear. "Why is he doing this to us?"

Shaking my hands free of water and Tammy's hair I stood up slowly, hands on my knives, and looked around. The clowns were staying at a reasonable distance, though a few looked pissed off at me. I grinned insolently at them and flicked them off. Turning back to the group I looked at Cassandra, "Hey. Try and keep your cool. We need to keep our wits about us if we're going to make it out." My anger was slowly abating, clearing my head. I wanted out but the responsibility I had was more important. I began thinking about the circus, this b*****d Harold, and the sick game he was playing. A sudden thought occurred to me. "Has anyone heard anything about a circus in the news of late? And does anyone know the layout of the circus?"
((wow Reeth looks like an interesting role play))

I clenched my fists and sighed. There was a little story in the news...wait...
"Recently...I heard about some kids who went to a circus and...well they never came back and the circus they went to just...disappeared....you don't think this is the same one is it?" I asked, still keeping my eyes on the sick freak...no matter how hard it was to even do that....
.: yeah...it's pretty fun XDD :.

"I think it is." I grimaced in anger. "Damn it and I'll waited out of today was to find people to hang with and possibly party with." Sighing I looked around waiting for Harold to speak. "I just hope he's not some evil demon like from "IT". That would take this day from bad to worse."
((roops. lol I've only seen the movie and that was damn creepy, a friekin' balloon of blood out of the bathroom sink))

((Umm IT wasn't a demon, it was definitely an alien spider thing, thank you very much. **S.King fanatic** Although I haven't read the book... I got to page 600something and just couldn't bear it anymore. Maybe later on in life.. when I have more patience... You know what looks like an interesting roleplay? The Riverfront. Check it out biggrin lol)) "So wait," I said. "You think this is some traveling circus that kidnaps kids?" I managed a shakey laugh. "How R.L. Stine is that? Sounds like an episode of Goosebumps... I think it was, too." I continued to huddle close to my sister, sharing body heat, rubbing her arms to restore feeling.

I shook my head, the whole movie...IT was coming back. All the memories came flooding back. The nights spent laying awake, dreading the hands of sleep to take me down, the mornings when I'd wake up screaming and having my mom shake me awake.
"It might be...and if it is...whatever the next 'game' is. I want to take it." I stated, this psycho clown was going down whether he liked it or not.

I nodded slowly and touched her arm "I've got your back covered. If he tries anything funky, I'm going to stop him, I promise." I slowly drew my blades and stood at the ready. Protecting the group until Tammy recovered from her ordeal.

I turned around, my eyes moved away from the clown's to Mark's.
"And I've got all of yours...I'm sure we'll get out of this unscathed....I'm just positive." I smiled, hearing myself how totally fake that sounded to even me. I really needed to get my acting skills up to par.

I leaned into my brother and sighed, "Thanks," I said, standing up. I looked around at the group and at Cassandra, "No offense, but who ever is capable of doing the best at the next game, is the one who should play next." i looked over to the clown and he grinned, waving. i shuttered and flicked him off...
"Now, now, I am not a demon, I am deffinately human, just like you!! But I will live through this night, will you?" Harold laughed again and walked out of the tent, the clowns follow him. The grop quickly exits the tent to be free of the sensation of being watched, wich they were. Camera's followed their every movement.

I shuddered, the feeling of being watched was overwhelming and I was dreading every second I was spending here. The clown was a freak, his minions were crazy crack-heads and everyone was a little uptight about the whole situation...including her.
"God I hate this place...." I muttered beneath my breath.
