You guys are just saying that because Vader was so popular, and more known. I actually like Maul better, no one likes a trader like Vader. Plus that fight they had was a cheap shot. The Maul that Vader fought was a clone, I'm sure the actual Maul would do much better in a fight.

As far as looks, creepiness and overall Bad a**ness I would have to say Darth Maul. He is the one I would least like to run into. If we are talking skill pre burn vador would kill maul but as seen in the last 3 movies he is a bit sluggish. Having a body made of robotics can only do so much for you. Maul would kick his butt. Darth Maul Wins!!!! Owns!!! And Kills!!! He can now also split into two to confuse an enemy.

Darth Maul was a true bred sith lord, Darth Vader for the longest time was anikin and was trained a jedi. that fact was his down fall because the good guy within him could not see his son die and sacrificed himself for his son bla bla bla. Maul has spent his whole life to serve the dark side and kill all that stand in his way. qui gon was the one of the best jedi of all time because the fact that no matter what the council said he did what the force told him to. he was getting old which did contribute to the fact he got owned. But what realy got him was his eagerness and his cockyness that caused his "incidental" death.

i think its impossible 4 darth vader 2 die, until he completed his task as the chosen 1, the force just wouldnt let it happen! vader would win anyways though idea

darth maul is a sissy! darth vader was in every movie (since he is anakin), but darth maul can't even last the end of one movie! so my vote is darth vader!

Darth Maul would totally PWN Vader because Vader is an old, mostly robotic guy who can't even defeat his older, crustier master (aka Obi-Wan) in a duel. Darth Maul is younger, more physically fit, and can wield his double lightsaber like a frickin BEAST!!! smile

you guys are all forgetting something. Maul would die and that hands of both vader before transformation, and after. pre-transformation vader would easily destroy every jedi he came across, i bet even yoda could fall to him. but big black and darklord vader would kill him with the force easy. Maul was a marauder, and wasnt even close into the force as anakin was. Vader would force crush him over and over and over again.

MAUL!!! he is way better and was suppose to be the heir for Sidious if he hadn't died, Vader was just a back up.

Vader, though it pains me to say it is simply more powerful than Maul and would just crush the life out of him with the force.
