"meaning I can't do anything about that, correct" He said.

Anthony looked at Searil,"Actually you are pretty ignorant." he said pointedly.

Sitting in a cab several streets over in the middle of a traffic jam, he had his cell phone to his ear. "Yes, no, mother I think the whole point of me rejoining the S.O. Team is moot. You can hire me back on all you want but I am a mercenary," he clicked the end button and set the phone down. Flipping through a file, that covered all of his teammates for his current hit. There was Bell, he had been on missions with her and he trusted her to do what she needed to get done. Most of the others were new to the group since he left is two years ago, "Anthony a.k.a. Rewind," he read off of his file, "Self-submitted for testing in the Private Genetic Research Project held last year. Through continued testing it was discovered that he could manipulate time. Most advanced skill, Time Freeze. He may be a problem if his power gets out of control." He reached into his case and pulled out the only piece of equipment given to him, a silver watch with a single button. It didn't tell time but it seemed useful enough.

Isabella had been watching after Sire's retreat, wondering how to break it to Pete, her boss, that he wanted to be payed the same mount as last time. "Ignore him, his attitude needs readjusting, but hes good to his word. And No One is expendable, got it?" She said sighing. "We are a team, we have to work together, so try to put on a happy face, all of you." SHe said demonstrating an overselling smile.

"I did some scouting, it seems in his twelve hours of life each night, he always manages to visit a strip club. Figure out which club is for tomorrow night, and we can bag him." She looked around at her team, each seemed to have some form of attitude going on, but she had a feeling in her gut, that when it came down to it, they would ban together.

After the traffic started moving again he flipped through his folder. Looking for a certain file, "Mai a.k.a. Double M," he looked over her picture and then flipped to her tactical skills page. "Exceptional close-range combat skills, Trained in high speed combat with advanced strength training. She is a human no less, she has a lot more promise then most of the others. Most of these other have reached there full potential, there isn't much more that they can learn," he sighed as he set file back in the folder. "Looks like this whole mission is just a trick by the firm."

"Sir, this is your stop," the cab driver turned around waiting for his money. "The firm expects results with seven days."

Sire handed the money over and got out, "understood." He stepped away from the cab and entered the hotel he is staying at.

Tossing the folder on the desk in his room he fell back on his bed and thought over the information in the file. From the outside the group is just a bickering mess but with the right motives they could make an excellent team. Though most of their abilities would be worthless as long as the firm was in control of their targets, they may have some use in the future so long as the firm would limit their control. "This is all turning out bad, but I can't break the rules. Everything must be done in order."

His phone chimed as he lay back on the bed, picking it up he clicked the answer button and put it to his ear, "yes," the voice on the other end spoke quickly and named a bar on the other side of town. He quickly gathered his items and left. He called Bells cell phone and left a message.
