"No, it's quite fine," Marco said with a chuckle, "Taking care of three little children gets me used to this sort of thing." He said finishing up the mess at the chair before going to take the dishes to the sink.
Romeo looked at the heating pad curiously, "Really? Well then I'll make sure to remind you to use it if you get to cold." Romeo said with a nod thinking some how he would know when Emmet needed it before the boy would know himself.
"You can be who ever you want!" Romeo said with a smile. He walked over to his toys and dragged out a tub filled with his Batman toys. He pushed it in front of Emmet and sat down at the other side of it, "You can pick first!"

Riley shook his head a bit. "I don't know how you can do it, I can barely live with one." Marco was certainly an incredable man. "But I should get going soon, I think Emmet's in more than capable hands. If you need me though, or if for some reason Emmet gets too nervous to stay, here's my number." He pulled out a piece of paper from his back pocket, which had all of his contact information there. His address, his cell number, his home number, everything. "And it doesn't matter when you call, either."
Emmet nodded a bit, feeling all nice and snug on his heated blanket. "Uh huh! Thanks. If you get cold too, I can share!" He was grinning widely, showing off his baby fangs. After that, he watched Romeo fish out the tub full of toys, then promptly looked through the different toys. It only took a few moments, but he picked out a figurine of the Joker, looking him over. "I like this one! He's got a white face like me! Is he a bad guy?" He looked different than the Riddler toy he'd had before.

"Uh-huh," Romeo replied as Emmet pulled out his Joker toy, "He's Batman's arch nemesisis...nemenesis...nemesis!" He said having trouble with the word, "He's really weird, he's always laughing too and makes people crazy!" He explained.
Marco laughed a little, "I'm sure Emmet won't be a problem at all. Do you want to say good bye to him before you leave?" Marco asked setting the telephone numbers down on the kitchen counter.

"Thats cool...so he's a laughing, crazy bad guy? Thats kind of neat." He decided, looking over the Joker again. Emmet curled up tighter on his heated pad with a little shiver. "So...Can I be the bad guy? I think he's cool." Emmet was grinning, his tongue flicking out of his lips. He'd never been a bad guy before! ...Then again, he'd never been a good guy either! Funny how that worked out. "So what would Joker do to get Batman to try and catch him?"
"No, its okay. I'm sure he's having too much fun to want to say good bye anyway." Riley said, being both honest and uncomfortable with the thought of saying goodbye as if they were a family. The whole being a father thing didn't sit well with him, if it was even sitting with him at all. "If you need anything, just give me a call. Thank you for letting him stay." Moving, he headed towards the door again with a wave.

"The makes weird weapons and stuff, to make other people really sick or go crazy like him," Romeo replied trying to dig out some of the accessories that came with the Joker as well as the ones that came with his Batman.
"No problem at all, drive safely," Marco said with a smile as Riley walked towards the door and left. He seemed like a nice man, rather unsure of his parenting skills but Marco didn't think poorly of him.

"Really? Thats pretty cool. Does he ever win?" Emmet slithered off of his heating pad in favor of moving closer to Romeo, looking over his friend's shoulder as he looked through the rest of the toys. "I heard Riley talkin' bout horsetag...hastig...hostiages..." The little snake boy struggled with that particular word, but he was pretty sure he pronounced it right in the end! "Does he do that?" His tongue flickered out of his lips and he reached out, picking up the Riddler toy that Romeo had offered to him when they first met.
Emmet had no idea that Riley had left, but right now the boy had much more interest in his dark skinned friend and their toys.

Romeo shook his head, "The Joker is a really super bad guy, if he ever won it would be really bad." He said, "I think he does, if lots of bad guys do that I bet the Joker would too!" the boy answered with a nod.
Meanwhile the sun was starting to set outside. Marco was cleaning the dishes from dinner at looked at the clock. It was already seven o'clock.
Once he was finished up with the dishes he headed down to the boys room, "Romeo, Emmet," Marco said knocking on the frame of the door, "You two have an hour then you have to take your baths and get ready for bed okay?" He informed them with a smile.

"Oh...thats neat." Emmet said honestly, looking at the toy again. The Joker must have been pretty smart if it would be so bad for him to ever win. AND he had hostages? Wow, the Joker was a bad dude. "I still like him." Emmet decided after a moment of staring at the toy in his scaled hands. "Hey, how come your Papa lets you watch this stuff?" The little leucistic hardly ever watched TV, and when he did Riley was there with some strange thing to do to get him distracted or out of the house. He had no idea why.
A scared little noise left his lips when Marco knocked on the door frame, nearly dropping the Joker toy in the process. He caught it before it hit the ground, and he clutched it against him like it was a lifeline. Unusually wide black eyes focused on the adult in the doorway. "O-Okay." He stuttered out, curling his tail around him tightly. "Th-thank you."
When Marco left, he shivered. "Baths aren't fun." He muttered to his best friend.

"Bath's can be lots of fun! It's just like a smaller swimming pool, but with bubbles!" Romeo replied with a smile. Emmet looked pretty nervous, "Something wrong Emmet?" Romeo asked concerned, "My daddy doesn't scare you does he?" He asked curious.
After Marco's interruption Romeo had a blast playing with his batman toys for the remaining hour with Emmet. He hardly ever got to play them with some one else so it was a big treat.
Once the hour was finally up Marco had come back to the room and knocked lightly on the door again, "You two ready to take your baths and get ready for bed?" Marco asked the two with a smile.

"Bubbles? In a bath?" Emmet gave his friend a strange look. Baths weren't fun! They were just water and soap...what was this about bubbles?! Riley never put bubbles in his bath...Romeo's home life was a lot different than his, and the bubble bath intrigued him. When asked if he was okay, he nodded. "Mm. Your Papa s-scared me...but its j-just 'cause I didn't hear h-him coming..." He said sheepishly, scratching at his elbow. He was more than happy to settle into playing, and when Marco returned he pouted a bit.
"Okay! Can we have a bubble bath?" Emmet asked hopefully, Marco's sudden appearance not frightening him this time. His black eyes wide and staring. He wanted to try a bubble bath! The boy's gaze then dropped to the Joker toy he was still holding, and he held it out to Romeo. "Do we put these away?"

"We can put them away after the bath," Romeo said with a smile, the little boy placed his figurine back in the tub and stood up, "C'mon Emmet," He said.
Marco chuckled a little bit, "Sure, if you'd like you can take a bubble bath," The man replied with a smile as he led the boys to the bathroom.
"I have some batman bath toys too, it'll be fun!" Romeo said with excitement as they got into the bathroom. The chubby little cowlet was taking off his clothes, anxious to start the bath, Emmet had an advantage on him, since he didn't wear any clothes.

Emmet put the Joker into the tub as well, slithering after his best friend, his dark gaze on Marco as he slithered past the man. "Never had a bubble bath." He told the adult almost as though he were amazed by the concept. He was, really.
"Really? Cool!" Bubbles AND toys in the bath?! Emmet loved this place! Emmet put his hands on the edge of the tub to see what the bubbles were all about. When he looked back at Romeo, he forgot what he was going to say and instead looked down at himself. Huh. Romeo had a lot of things that he didn't! Boo. The snakeling pouted for a moment, and then in proper toddler fashion, he forgot what he was pouting about when he recalled the toys. He'd seen the bubbles, what about the toys?! "How come you have bath toys?"

"Cause they're fun to play with in the bath water, specially with the bubbles!" Romeo explained as he grabbed some from under the sink for him and Emmet to play with.
"Alright you two time to get you squeaky clean," Marco said with a smile as he lifted Emmet into the bath tub and then Romeo. The man got out the shampoo and started to work it into the two little ones hair. Toddlers had such tiny heads, it was very easy.
Meanwhile while the two were getting cleaned Romeo explained the bath toys to Emmet and let him choose which ever ones he wanted to play with. Bath time seemed a lot like normal play time except for there was water!
Once the two were thoroughly cleaned Marco took them back out and dried them off, "Okay now, time to brush your teeth and then you two need to hop on off to bed." He said helping Romeo into his one piece footie pajamas with, of course, batman on them.
"Now you two just brush your teeth, I need to go get Clay and Dei ready too." He said with a smile to the two small boys before leaving the bathroom.

Emmet gave a squeak when he was picked up, more than happily setting into the warm water. His scaled little hands tried to grab at the bubbles, and he was curious, if not pleased to see that they disappeared if you touched them! At first he tried to shy away from the shampoo, but Romeo suitably distracted him with the toys and he let Marco do what he wanted.
They played until it was time to get out of the tub, and when he was dried off he wrapped his arms around himself, making a noise as though he were cold. While Romeo was getting dressed, Emmet moved to his bag and pulled out a light blue fleece blanket, wrapping it around his torso to pretty much cucoon himself with it to get warm. "Wow, you gots a lotta Batman stuff." The little snakeling said in awe, admiring his footie pajamas.
"Okay~" He chirped when he was told to brush his teeth, digging his brush out of his bag and brushing as he was told. When they were done, he slithered back to Romeo's room. "I like your Papa." He commented once they were back in the room and he was curled up on his heating pad, still cucooned in his blanket.

"Thanks!" Romeo said with a smile, "I like him too, he's real nice. Your daddy is nice too." He commented as he watched Emmet curl up on his heating pad.
Ten minutes or so later Marco appeared in the room, "Okay you two, time to get to bed, once Clay's done with his bath he's gonna go to sleep too, I'll be careful not to wake you two up." Marco said smiling at the two boys. He walked over to the bottom bunk and pulled the three layers of blankets back so the two boys could hop into bed.
Romeo waited for Emmet first, he wanted to make sure he could get up into the bed by himself. He remembered from the pool that he needed a little help.
