"Hey! I didn't mean it like that... I just.." she took a deep breath and released it slowly. Talk about Kalona always got her her nerves reeved up. Perhaps going with someone, Tooki, things might be different. She doubted it. "I know your not crazy. But the idea of you going alone just doesn't sit well."
She thought about the proposition for a moment. "When are you leaving?" If something did happen at least she would have more of a chance to get away than if she was alone. "I just have some things to take car of..."

"We can plan ahead...say...day after tomorrow?" Tooki suggested, smiling. He wiggled on the spot, happy to have someone to explore with. "I won't let any monsters get you. My mother taught me a little bit about defending myself."
He blinked, tilting his head, "What sort of things? And why should I go alone? I'm not a colt anymore."

"Well I'm not completely defenseless myself. I have learned quite a bit being on my own for so long." It wasn't that she didn't like the idea of him protecting her, but the thought of him thinking she needed his protection irked her. She huffed softly.
"I never said you were. But I never underestimate others" Not after what happened... The thought made her glance to the side.
She turned back to face him and smiled, a reflex she did whenever she was ignoring what went on in her head. "The day after tomorrow sounds good to me. Meet back here?"

Tooki nodded, grinning. "Sounds like a plan. I'll meet you here, day after tomorrow. Say..mid-morning?"
He looked at he mare, tilting his head, "It'll be a fun adventure. Who knows, maybe you'll have to protect me..."

"Yup" she said nodding her head slightly.
She smiled faintedly and nodded again. "I'm sure it will be. One we wont soon forget." And in the back of her mind warning bells were going off. What if we ran into something that was too much for both of us?
