A split second later we are falling out of the shadow of an over hang that is attached to the local Inn of Bai-Lin.* "Well that was certainly different. I've only taken someone else along for a ride once, but that's another story for another time."

He looked at her and grinned," Now why would I do that? I'd only be richer than any other demon i know," he added an ounce of sarcasm in his voice, "I won't...I would have taken you back right away...you know that,"he said still smiling,then got serious. He looked at her with intent eyes,"and you couldn't kill me if you tried. There's a reason i work for your father, ya know." he said then stretched his wings to their full extent.
