I've seen female centaurs before, in Fantasia and Xena Warrior Princess.

You see them sometimes in fantasy games and books. They don't really appear much in movies because... well... shirts tend to be optional. Plus, centaurs in movies were kind of hard to make perform complex actions and stuff realistically until recently, what with the awesome advances in CGI and all.
