Yeah, they have a high failure rate. I don't know if it's quite worth it or not, though. But they're generally easy to fix. Although sometimes with the money you put into a 360 you may be better off with a ps3 in the end.
@Sumi:
Ehhhh I was and still am a Sony Fan(boy). I was displeased that they made the ps3 cheaper and took away its back generation capabilities. >=T
I still have my ps2, though -pets it-

I really want to get a $199 Xblox 360, but I want to make sure I'm okay with the fact that I'm missing out on PS3 stuff. I would really get a PS3, but dropping $600 for entertainment just doesn't sit well with me.

Yeah. I like how the Wii can still play Gamecube games.
I mostly just like gameboys though. XD I've asked for a DS for Christmas.

It hasn't snowed in a while here, which is VERY unusual for this time of the year.

I had the same thoughts. The price tag was the ONLY thing preventing me from snatching one up, despite that a lot of games were going multi-platform.
I figure my 360 will keep me preoccupied until I get around to owning a PS3.
Well..after I fix the RRoD issue. rolleyes
