'How did mere beasts get to the mountain? Perhaps they are veeeeery good swimmers.....' Giz charged towards the beasts.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 22, 2008 7:25 am

((okay... sorry to do this, this goes against my writing instinct... but I have to change from third person to first... sorry!!!@))

I dove close to the ground and Fifenloor held herself tight to my body. We neared the beasts, a pack of fourty at least, and I yelled," NOW!!!!" Fifenloor jumped from my back and threw a dozen of shuriken from her hands, each of the flying into diffenert targets burying their poisoned tipes tntio the monster's necks. I then opened my hands and let my sharp claws rake the faces of the beasts. I snapped necks with a bite of my powerful jaws threw fire into the throats of the barking demons, but of course there was more than that to deal with.
I landed on the grund and I pulled out my duel swords. With the grace and presicion an elf is born with I dove and ducked attacks and landed my own gracefully through the beating hearts of the Harkson Hounds. I felt my hair follow my liquid movements and only show the smallest sign of curiosity as the purple dragon came charging towards us.

((kk))
Giz charged into the fray, snapping and roaring. His claws flew as he killed the beasts. This was his mountain, and he wasn't about to let a bunch of dogs take it away from him. He grabbed a Hound by the neck with one paw as it jumped towards him. Giz held the creature's head under the ocean water until it stopped struggling, then grabbed another Hound, and another.

I attacked the Harkson's and spat their corpses out of my mouth launching an attack on each one. Eventually the numbers diminished until all the corpses of demon dogs littered the ground haphazardly.

I sliced the last harkson throat as the blood swirled around me. rings of blood circled me and not a drop on my tunic. My Dragon Friend on the other hand had blood dripping from her beak and her talons. She then doe into the sea to wash the blood from her water white body. I eyed the purple dragon and wondered if I should tell him.

Giz then began to grab the carcasses and throw them on his back. He quickly flew the beasts to the middle of the ocean and dumped them there. He wasn't sure if they had diseases, and he wasn't ready to take that chance. He then headed back to the other dragon and nodded in thanks.

I shook off the salt water droplets from my back and walked to Fifenloor. "Should we tell him?"
"I'm not sure. If you feel a strange attraction to him it could very well mean that our fates are tied, but I think it may be best not to."
"But still, he has the right to know..."

I understand that very well. But still I think that is we leave now the King will let him be. He has no need to be further inserted into our affairs.

"Name?"
PostPosted: Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:53 am

Thintaldor puled one leg to her chest and extended her long neck in a bow. "My name is Thintaldor. I am one of the last dragons from the North American Icewind Dragon species."

"And I am Fifenloor, a moon elf from a tribe across the world. I was the successor of the throne but I have convinced the clan to let me travel the world and inform the Clan of what happens outside of our forest."

Giz grunted. "Mmm"

I looked at Fifenloor and she just sighed. I knew her well. She hated wasting time talking, and she hated it more when people pretended to want to talk and only wasted time. I stood up tall and turned to the side, waiting to leave.

"I am sorry but duty calls. It was very interesting meeting and fighting you. Good-bye." I climbed on Thintaldor's back and we began to take off.

((Ya. I'll do it this time.))

Somewhere on the mountain, a dark evil was brewing, spewing out dark energy. Giz felt a shiver roll down his spine as he smelled a foul rotten stench wafting up from a huge fissure in the wall. He turned to Thintaldor and ran towards teh cleft in teh stone, roaring out a warning for all dragons on the mountain to escape the island. Dragons streamed out of the caves, several of which were clutching eggs or young. Giz spotted Soleil and waved him down.

"Yeah?"
"Help the mothers. Make sure no-one is left here. And then get out. Go to Arbre. Tell her I sent you all. She must house them for now." He turned to the panicked dragons in the sky and waved encouragingly. He turned to Soleil and nodded grimly. Soleil returned a grimace of "Ok, if you say so....". Soleil yelled out for the dragons to head towards the sun and thy swerved towards the bright orb. He then landed back on the mountain, quickly scanning the ground and caves. He blasted cold flames on the roofs and nooks of the caves to make sure no creatures lurked in the shadows. Soleil quickly caught up to the other dragons, warning them to spread out over the sky so that it wouldn't be as obvious.
"Giz, I hope you know what you're doing," he muttered under his breath.

Giz snarled and dove into the fissure, his sides skinned raw from the rock.

((>w< XDDDDDDDDDDD))

i felt fear seep in to my hide but my ferocity tried to keep it at bay. I know the evil chants that whisper ear into my heart, but I knew there are more important things to worry about. Without a word Fifenloor jumped on to my back and we dove in after the purple dragon, those evils beginning to get to me.

We wordlessly flew in. This is how Thintaldor and I have always been. We never had a duty, or a true quest. We simply travel to where ever something is happening and do as we feel we can to make things for the better. So we flew in to the fissure that reeked of poisonous gasses to help the dragon king in anyway possible.

Giz reeled back at the horrid sulfury smell blasting through the tunnels. Tiny warm particles of deadly diseases crept up his nostrils, and his eyes burned. A rotten smell blew in his face, a smell of broccoli, moldy pizza, swiss cheese, dog droppings, that green and black stuff you never know what it is or how it got there that looks suspiciously like furry beans dipped in green pudding, and peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches that had been rotting in a closed trash can for eons and had grown hot with the swarming cells of living creatures. Giz retched, but clamped his mouth tightly shut. Tears streamed from his tightly shut eyes as he followed the air, the stench growing stronger by the second. The distinct smell of bat guano greeted his burning lungs, a terribly thick smell. Finally, Giz couldn't take it and passed out, slamming into walls and spiraling down, down, down. Bloody scales stuck to the walls as he was skinned raw on his hindlegs and cheeks, blood dripping into the darkness. Giz was fortunate to be passed out, for an indescribable smell of pure evil blew past him as he approached a cavern floor. His neck snapped back with the impact and his head bashed against the hard rock floor. He would have screamed in pain if he wasn't out cold. Neck tendons, ripped and bloody, seemed to be bathed in the pain. Though he was passed out, he could sense an evil lurking in the shadows, growing stronger with each passing minute.
