(Okie, either way is fine, I was thinking of starting a Journal for Tolfitken, too)
Tolfitken sighed heavily and looked at Romsca with tired eyes, "Apparently it was because of me... I did trust him, I trusted him to know what he was doing and that he would trust me that knew what I was doing in following him, but apparently my trust was misplaced!" She practically ended her sentence in a frustrated scream, seething to herself and unthinkingly rattling off all that had been confusing her and going through her mind before the tornado, "But he wanted me to go away! Again! Just like my Mutti left me behind, and my Obimutti betrayed and attacked me until I finally made her remember her family. I wanted to be part of her family, but she wouldn't see me now if I was standing in front of her about to punch her in the nose! And Kirsa, who left me behind while she went and found Vana and had kits just like Obimutti did! And you, Treasure, who spends all of her time now with you, Romsca! And Chaos, who now spends her time chasing after Adaire! You've all left me alone, so why would I expect he wouldn't? I knew I shouldn't of done anything, but I didn't want to be left behind again! But if no one else wants me around then why would he? I guess, I guess," she howled again, her peircing, lonesome melodious cry and turned away from the trio, trying to hide her tears and the fact that she didn't know how to adequately explain how she felt. And the fact that she didn't know why she tried to explain it at all, only that, as she had thought thousands of times before, she didn't want to be left behind. Though how her little outburst would accomplish that she didn't know.
(Why do their little motivations for avoiding each other sound so similiar? )

Romsca looked borderline alarmed at Tolfitken's outburst, but when she was done, his look softened and he ventured to put a paw on her shoulder. "Look, take it from someone who was around him long enough to pick up some semblance of how he is; it wasn't a matter of trust or wanting you gone."
He moved ahead until he was facing Tolfitken instead of being beside her. "JoJo is a namir who has a single function that when it happens it overrides every other thought in his head. When a natural disaster is about to happen, he knows it immediately and seeks to run ahead and warn anyone it might threaten. He doesn't like it, but it's something he really can't control." He looked thoughtful for an instant. "Given how strong that urge is, I'm surprised he found the time to get you to.....go away......" His eyes widened slightly. "That's why he was late, wasn't it? He was doing something with you. You think he might have been trying to steer you away because he felt it was dangerous?"

Tolfitken sniffled and looked angrily to the side, "I think we've already established that it was dangerous... I told him I knew what I was doing, he could have trusted me as he said I supposedly didn't trust him... And my human is studying how to be a storm-chaser; I know about tornadoes and how to avoid them." She stiffened and looked up at Romsca, the anger burning even deeper. "Besides, if it was so dangerous and he was the only one who knew how to avoid it, then wouldn't I have been safer staying with him rather than him dumping me somewhere out in the storm having no clue where I was? I proved I could keep up with him, if he was running ahead of it then it shouldn't have been a problem. He just didn't want me around! What if I had just stayed where I was? He probably would've forgotten about me just like everyone else and then I would be lost and alone in the woods again." She knew she kept repeating the same things, but no matter how she tried to explain it she didn't think they would get it. Especially because instead of JoJo explaining it himself she was hearing it from a second scource.

Romsca looked uneasy, knowing that Tolfitken would much rather hear all this from JoJo, but seeing as he wasn't around, he felt it his duty to at least try. "Well, did you ever mention to him that you had experience with storms? He may be able to predict disaster, but he can't read minds. His intention was probably to make sure you were somewhere safe before he obeyed his urge to run off after the storm." He looked at Tolfitken earnestly. "Sounds like he was trying to keep you safe. Why would he bother with that if he was just going to leave you?"

"I did after he kept trying to leave me, he wouldn't listen..." she said, her gaze sliding downwards before flashing up a second time, "And again, wouldn't I have been safer with him?!" Her voice was strained and her eyes shone weakly with anger as despair took over them. "But then, I always screw things up anyways, why would people want to stay around me? I probably gave him every reason to run away. And even if I didn't, I would've screwed things up eventually, anyways, I might as well take the blame for this... You all can just run away, too, I don't mind, I'd rather have it so that no one can run away from me anymore..." She dragged her paws as she walked away, her head and tail hanging desolately in defeat.

Romsca couldn't hold down a chuckle. "You weren't saying it when the tornado was on the ground, did you? You probably couldn't hear your own scream if you're close enough to one of those. As to you being safer, I dunno if that would be true or not, but I'm sure he acted in a way he thought was best."
Romsca's ears drooped at Tolfitken's despair, but he continued to follow her. "You know........my human doesn't say a lot that makes sense, but one thing she likes to say is that if you say something too many times, it becomes true. She calls it 'speaking it into existance'. Maybe if you didn;t say so often that everyone wants to run away from you, it''' turn around. Besides, how will it get any better if all you do is walk away and feel sorry for yourself?"

"I didn't start saying it until after it had happened," she stated lamely, blinking at him, "And this is the first time I've been the one doing the walking away." Somewhere it occured to her that she had someone who didn't want her to leave, but another part of her said it didn't matter because as soon as she cheered up and went to follow him back to the others he would leave her behind. She growled at herself for once again confusing herself, "It doesn't matter anyways; he's already run away, he probably hates me and wants nothing to do with me. So much for singing..." She gave a half hysterical laugh, "And I guess this means this isn't the first time I've been the one doing the walking away; he's already done it! So I'm not walking away from anything, I have nothing to walk away from!" Laughing again, and trying to keep her footing stable on the shifting debris, she continued to walk in the direction she had been before, not caring that she didn't even know what direction it was.

Romsca beamed a bright inoffensive smile at Tolfitken. "Well there you go; he didn't know, or else he might have let you help. And I wouldn't say that he's run away so much as he's gone off to pout, just like you seemed about to. You two seem so much alike sometimes....." He cocked his head with interest. "Singing?"

Toflitken sighed, "I meant I didn't start saying people ran away from me until after it had already happened numerous times... And I don't think it matters if he knew or not, or if he could hear it or not. There's still the point he left me to think on: I trusted him, but he didn't trust me, but he thinks vice versa, so who did or did not trust whom? And singing is... A secret that I learned by mistake and he probably wouldn't be happy with me if I told you, though he's already mad at me, so I don't think it matters..."

Romsca made a small pfft sound. "Probably would have found out anyway. Makes a lot of sense, actually; he'd go off a lot and I could sometimes hear faint singing; I just thought Tima was off nearby playing with her radio." He shrugged. "Well, maybe he didn't think of it as not trusting you; maybe he just wanted you to be safe so that he was free to do what he felt needed to be done. As much as I hate to admit it, a lot of us guys have that 'protect the helpless girl' syndrome; it's just our way of showing we care." He shrugged again, sheepishly. "Though I've never seen signs of that in JoJo before...."

Treasure raised an eyebrow at his 'protect the helpless girl syndrome', "I hope you never have that with me; I'm no helpless girl!"
"Well, why don't you get him to explain that then," she said stubbornly, "And on the off chance that he does actually come back someone better explain to him that none of Neko's female Namrah are 'helpless girls'." She stopped walking, realizing with a sigh that she wouldn't be able to get them to stop bothering her. "We may be a little screwed up at times," she muttered, "But we are not 'helpless'... Except maybe Talitha..." Looking up suddenly, she asked with narrow eyes, "So why are you all following me? Is it really me who's in the wrong that no one is going off after JoJo to try to convince him to cool down? Or do you really think I am a helpless girl?" Her teeth were clenched as she said her last few words, her anger begining to rise again.

Romsca nearly fell over when he remembered that Treasure was listening. "N-no! I mean, of course I want to protect you and all, but I do hope you'll do the same for me! N-not that I'm a helpless guy, but.....I....oh, bother. DX"
Covering up his embarassment as best he could, Romsca turned back to Tolfitken, smiled and shook his head. "You remind me of Fighter; call her helpless and you'll probably have no eyes to roll. Still, it won't do any good venting your spleen at me; if you want to be alone, just say so. I suppose, considering the fact that you lamented so much about being left all alone so often, we were probably hoping to steer clear of that. And I've done some research ever since JoJo joined our little family, and turns out he's a rarer type, meaning that if he wants to be hidden, odds of finding him on your own aren't very good."

(She's getting impatient about waiting for him to come back... >.> )
"Good," she said, kissing him on the ear with a smile.
Tolfitken merely shrugged and sat in the dirt, "It doesn't matter anyways..." She was still somewhat enraged, and now determined to make herself whatever this 'rare' was so she could either find him when she wanted to or not be found by someone else when she didn't want to be found.

Romsca smiled back and gave Treasure a nuzzle before turning back to Tolfitken, his face now serious. "Well, you can go and search for him if you like, or if you don't, he's bound to show up eventually anyway. If you'd rather not have help, that's fine, I'm not offended. But just remember that until one learns to see from another's point of view, misunderstandings and hurt feeligns thrive." With that, he turned back to Treasure and managed a small smile.
((Okay, I have a few ideas:
1: Break off here and start a new one
2: Update/create journals and continue once that's done
3: A hybrid of the two
What do you think?))

(How long will it take to update his journal? It'll take me about half an hour to do hers...)
