New What If.... to match the festive season we are in. Do you feel that we as human beings could honestly celebrate x-mas and thanksgiving with out the gift giving, over the top advertisements, and what nots?

Next what if. Recently there has been a supernatural craze with the Twilight Phenomenon. Do you believe that humans either believe in supernatural living or that this is a figment of humans overactive fearful minds? And what if there was a supernatural world that walks among us? Would you be able to continue intertwining with them?

like some woman i am split up the middle (not bcuz of twilight) i was distant from reality to begin with....... i want creatures to exits.... and dats all im going say... if they do or do not exits is a bit too much >>

I think that there are times and places where dimensions cross briefly and we think that we live among the super natural cause we can't explain it any other way. or something like that, blah blah blah

<_< ok....If reality is made from the senses that the mind creates, then reality is just something in which reality is percieved within.
the what if is this:
What If there was no mind to Percieve it?
if this is to complex i understand....the "it" being anything"...if it's still to complex...well then ill explain further if i dont forget =P

Kinda like if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear kinda thing?
If we were mindless we would still precieve the information about the it through senses and although we would not understand the information we could adapt to translating that information.On the other hand if no one is there and there is no mind then the "it" would appear to have no significance.

hmm interesting...
well in terms of Physics sound is just a wave...which is translated by a device into a frequency of sound into something comprehensible.
So if there is no device to translate the sound (i.e. ear drums) then there is NO SOUND in which case the tree does not make a noice just a vibration or force...
because sound is actually just a force of a wave/frequency.
however to translate the sense the brain must be the thing to translate it...if there is no brain then nothing can be translated and therefore if there is no brain nothing exists...because to exist there hast to be proof of existence...the only reason we know of dinosaurs is through evidence discovered...but...if there was no one to witness it...it technically "Would not exist" even if it's there...theres nothing to proove it's there and therefore...will not exist until something can percieve it

its based on your opinion. i say the chicken came 1st since an egg can sustain its own being. and yes the perception of what we call reality is based soily one what we know. so in all reality as we put it has no true meaning and yet people go on as if it does. pointless bable at the stalk of living

Think I would go for the power to absorb or duplicate others powers. ninja That way I could have lots of powers and could literally shop for what I wanted.
