Um, it's not as great as it sounds, it's mainly dealing with flight records, though I am deployed right now and i do like a superman version of my job as I help run our entire operations in the TOC smile . I like my job in Iraq with this unit, but it's technically not my job, all of the stuff I do i was never trained for, I do a lot a lot of S6 stuff actually and some Air Traffic Controller s**t as well, it's pretty awesome.
I've never actually done the work of a real 15P since I joined the army, but looks like i will with my next unit in 3rd ACR...

In DEP, leaving in December for basic as a 68w. Combat medic.

instant coffee man that sucks to be an american, only getting trained on one job.. im 021 Canadian Field Artillery. im quilified everything from 81mm mortar, 3 kinds of 105mm howitzers. 155mm M777 and M109 self propelled gun.,,i heard you guys only get to learn one job on the guns...where Canadians are trained on EVERY aspect... i also serve in the command center, as a sig, or a tech. i can be on the OP side *what i do now* call down fire.. on the front lines with the infantry. Hey, not all of us are "only" qual'd to do one thing. I'm in the Navy, so we have ratings; I'm a CE2-That's Construction Electrician Second Class (the 2nd class is my rank-think sergeant). I'm also trained as a builder (carpentry/masonry), qualified on the M16, M4, M9, M240B, M203, M2, plus almost every radio we use. I don't have any equipment licenses, but that's just because I'm too lazy to put in the hours for them.

35W Electronic Warfare Signal Intelligence (aka Army Linguist)
I leave next June for basic, then to DLI for AIT!
1 year of AIT probably won't be very much fun though....

haha. Yeah, one of the reasons we hate you. Besides the fact you want to be us. Is that why you people always pull us over because we have infantry in our window? You're jelous. I understand. And just to be a p***k, we can kill if we want to, and SO much more.

Read up on it, my MOS does pretty much any kind of job we are assigned, we pretty much are infantry, and everything similar.

Except when it comes to combat, you're no infantryman. You know why? Because you have females. They can't join combat MOS's. Sorry kid, gotta come stronger.

Not a combat MOS =/= doesn't see combat. We're all soldiers, and that's what we train for. No need for attacking other folks MOS.
