I agree... sweatdrop Actually, if you really wanna look into it, you could say that Shuuei had a little thing for Koryuu. Now, whether or not anything happened is up to debate. And I still say that Ukoku wanted a piece of little Sanzo butt, too. I mean, first the guy takes in a child prostitute (Kamisama as a child), and then (if I remember correctly), didn't he refer to Koryuu as being a 'pretty little girl'? Sounds a little iffy to me. wink As well, look at where Ukoku is now! *shudder* That man and his odd sexual habits, I tell you... whee

Is it just me or do all the Monks who are main charaters have hair? Shuuei ahd hair, Sanzo has hair and Komyou had hair also. Do you think it means anything?

I'm guessing it's partially because they're higher-ranking, and they can probably get away with it.
And they, as more important characters, need to look pretty-like whee .
EDIT:: Ukoku-sama had pretty hair, too heart .

Well I just finished volume 11 of the anime.. and after the eps were you see the group's previous life.. Does anyone else feel like Hakkai's dragon got ripped off. He use to be cool looking and now he is a jeep... with a spare tire that has a tacky yingyang on it. xd Am I the only one who feels he got ripped off?

I hear ya. I always had this mental picture of Gojun, inside Hakuryuu, all pissed off, going on about the indignance he's suffering whee . And having to drive 'scum' like Kenren around? Poor dude xd .

Ok. This is kinda hard to explain. I am not sure, but in the third Dvd, I am not sure if it the 1st 2nd or 3rd episode, when Hakkai is having a "flashback" of when he killed all those demons. I think we see his demon form, just a glimpse, his face. I swear you do, the bad guy says the whole now you have become a demon yourself, and you see Hakkai's face with ears and fangs.....I watched it a few times...and I am sure that is what it is...does anyone know? I will look for a screencap...

Yes, you do see youkai!Hakkai, but only for a moment, and it's in red-and-black, if I remember correctly. Not very detailed, though sad .

Is Saiyuki a yaoi? My friend said it was considered a yaoi. Technically, no. While Kazuya Minekura is known for her shounen-ai series (like Wild Adaptor), Saiyuki isn't one of them. However, there are a lot of undertones in the series that, as I'm sure you've probably noticed, could imply otherwise. Nothing's said right out loud, but you're always kinda wondering... So basically, any fanpairings that you could think of (and there are MANY sweatdrop ), are just that and nothing more until Minekura-sensei says so.

Karwyn Q. Why is Nataku in a coma? A. I've only read part of the first Gaiden, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with his fight against Gyumaoh. I dont think he ever fully recovered, or something like that. Off the top of my memory, i recall Kanzeon saying something along the lines that he wanted it as a punishment, even though it wasnt his fault or something like that. And then she went on to explain that Gods cant kill, so Gods use heretics like Nataku to do their dirty work, and Nataku can never forgive himself for being used like that. Yet again, my memory is crap sweatdrop
