Ahh, the joys of dealing with little creeps. I do so love the immature logic of "writing it on a computer makes it non-offensive." In the meantime, those of us who are mature (regardless of age) know it to be very offensive. This applies not only to the ridiculous content, but also to the attack on our good sense of sight with spelling and grammar worthy of screams made by half-naked cheerleaders in bad horror films.
I suppose the only thing to be done with such people (if calling them "people" isn't giving them too much credit) is to keep them as far away as possible. Eventually they will grow up...or so one can hope.

OHHH Thank the Goddess. I was starting to feel very old. I am 29 and my sis referred me here to Gaia. I found all you Goddess' on my own. It is good to be old. Remember being a teenager though. Perhaps we can just help them discover all old ppl aren't all that bad. Just smile and laugh and play the game. 4laugh

It makes me scared when 21 year olds (and younger) complain about being old and gray. Being that I'm 27 and have a few friends older than me, I wonder if we're zombies.
In any case.. I got this crap from a 12 year old once. I was looking for MMORPGs to play and she helped me out. When she asked how old I was and got an answer, she almost refused to. Apparently adults don't play video games.
Needless to say, I told her I rarely get the time to play games anyhow. gonk

21 is old now? Give me a break. Pre-double digit maturity for you.
I'm in my twenties, and until I start having to use wrinkle, anti-aging creams and hair color to cover grey's....I am so not old. Puh-freaking-leeze.

i see this arguement is still going on, aren't the teenies on here great? i find it best just to avoid the areas they're likely to be in, like chatterbox and GD, i stick to my guilds otherwise i'd end up hating Gaia, i got flamed by some jerk of a 14 year old(male) when i tried to give some advice to a girl, i don't need s**t like that from someone who's young enough to be my child, what does a 14 year old know about anything?? they have a tight little world that revolves solely around themselves, i wish we had a way of virtually slapping annoying kids on here 3nodding

This thread inspired me to write an article. >.> I posted this in my LJ, 1up blog, and on a few other forums. So hopefully I'll get a few bites:
I'm writing an article on how old is 'too old' to game. Like we've been discussing, you're only as old as you feel. Has anyone told you that you're too old for this? How have your responsibilities (like family, work, etc) affected your gaming (or other) habits?
If anyone wants to be interviewed or has a story they'd like to share, please post or send me a PM. ^_^

Well, just imagine the shock of those teenagers if they ever went to the Sims messageboard I frequent. Not only is the creator there an avid gamer, she's a grandmother, one of her grandkids is 9. I'm actually one of the younger regulars there, pretty scary, huh... blaugh
Kids today....what will they think of next?

Well, I am 20 and being on here and talking with afew people that are younger than me I have realize that this next generation of kids is growing up way quicker that they should and that has resulted in teens acting like there adults and getting away with anything you can think to mention... I know at 14 I was playing softball and having a good time being a kid...

I have... well not a friend, but she's my step-daughter's mother. And she has three children now. She just barely turned 21. The terrible thing about it it that her parents never thought anything about it. My guy didn't even know she was 18 until after they were expecting. She had just never borthered to tell him, or anyone that she hung out with. And her parents met him, and never thought to tell him either. Even after knowing his age, 21 at the time, and that they were sleeping together. I tell you, most parent's these days don't seem to care enough about their kids.
On the original topic, I can't stand in when those idiot children come in and run their mouths off, usually in someone elses thread, and when asked to stop they just ignore you or tell you to F*** off or something. And then as a defense say that they are only 10. Then go straight to the bathroom and wash your mouth out with soup for even typing that, and get out of my thread! They can be such pains!! Thank goodness for "ignore".

you guys wanna talk about feeling old, boy do i feel old. yes, i'm only 19. but i'm taking 5 meds a day right now, and my kidneys have been acting up for almost 2 1/2 months (i've had a reoccuring viral infection that we just can't get rid of.) i feel old in my body. oy.
and i guess it really doesn't help my mental age that i'm one of maybe 3 people that doesn't like to party, wants to go home at midnight and relax, prefers snuggling in blankets and sipping hot tea to doing crazy things, hates alchohol and/or drugs, and thinks an idea of a wild evening is having a picnic by the lake in the middle of the night. not only is my body old, so is my brain appearantly. ^^;;;
