Lily was happily talking to Joel when sub-consciously she turned slighty and noticed Alice. She jumped slightly, the piece of bread in her hands dropped to the floor and she blushed bright scarlet. Bending down, she started to pick up the crumbs and threw them away.
"Uhh..I'm so sorry Alice...I....I was just..." Lily sighed, she didn't know how to explain to Alice why she was there. "I'm sorry." Lily blushed again.

"Oh no, keep talking. Don't keep him for long though!" she winked at Lily, then turned to go back to work.

When Wyle was hiding behind her she couldn't help a smile. But when she saw Joel her smile vanished. When Wyle had gone off to eat she went back to work, well tried too. All the tables were empty and so she sat down at a table as far away from them as possible and rested her head in her hands. She drifted off unaware.

Wyle went back to his cousin, happy that he'd swiped a slice of the cake without the customer noticing. He sat down in front of her, watching his cousin. Hm... evil plans~!

"Really, Lily, there is no need to be embarrassed. No one expects you to never eat." Joel offered in what he hoped was a comforting manner. "I promise you, Alice does not bite. And neither do I, for that matter. I had better get back to work." He just seemed to make the girl more uncomfortable when he tried to be nice. It was confusing, but not really bothersome. It was easily better than dealing with Lila; he had not missed how her look turned sour when he chastised Wyle. Every time he asked himself, why bother to care what Wyle was up to? He always puppy eyed and wiggled his way out of any consequences and it certainly was not making Joel any friends trying to keep him in check. But the question was moot; he had to look after his little brother. It was his job to.

Lily smiled at Joel sheepishly. She hated being so poor to where she couldn`t provide for her family, any money she made usually went to paying bills. Her budget was daethly tight...that was one reason she was especially shy around Joel...she couldn't afford to look good.
"Alright...ummm I`ll see you later then." Lily smiled. At that precise moment her stomach growled. Lily blushed bright red and bolted from the room.

Tara groaned as she looked over the bills and decided the maids wage needed to finally be upped a bit with the lack of customers. She calculated they would have to cut 200 dollars from the monthly kitchen bill which wasn't much mind you but she was stressed and worried and just about to pull her hair out. She picked up her phone and called the Kitchens.

" yes Hello Alice " She sighed a bit tiredly. "I need to tell you something on the grocery bill, we need to cut it down 200$ a month so the maids wage can finally be equalized to what it should be, also sorry if its a burden and charge it to my account...but...can you send me up some tomato soup ?

Tarra smiled some. "..Alice how can you make something that tired me out and made me so bitchy, and after talking to you i'm happy ?...if you dont mind i'm coming down to the dining room to eat at one of the small tables. I need a break..." She stood hanging up and grabbing her sketch book she went down the stairs from her suite office combination and was heading tot he dining room.

Joel looked up at the sound of his name and nudged his glasses back up his nose a bit. Noticing that Alice was speaking on the phone, he supposed he would have to wait to hear what he would be wonderful at budgeting. Well, at least Alice seemed unconcerned; it was likely not too large a change.

"Mmmhmm!" Alice chimed, setting the phone down. "I got her out of one of her moods!" she made a victory sign and went to make Tarra's soup.

Tarra made her way into the dining rooms and waved at John on her way there. She sighed sitting at one of the tables by the window and began to sketch Dorians face and she felt her heart skip a beat and she sighed ripping the paper and feeling a single tear drop.
