*had fallen asleep at Elspeth's house and wakes up in the middle of the discussion*

"Damn, I need to sleep more, I'm always falling asleep during the day..."

*she notices that Elspeth is not at home*

"Oh, I guess I should be leaving also... should I leave a note to her excusing for leaving without saying goodbye" *writes a note and summon a portal to dissappear*

*dissappears leaving white feathers behind*

*Mina notices the strange look in Scully's eye, and involuntarily steps back and gives a stifled gasp.
With all of her vast knowledge of elvish magic, never had she come upon a power such as she felt emenating from Scully then. She felt a cold fear creeping up her spine and slowly taking posession of her body... there is something not qute right about this one, Mina thinks to herself, but for now, I must defend against these mesmerizing eyes, lest I fall under their spell.

Her gasp turns into a steadying breath, and she takes up a slightly different stance. There seems to be a new power hanging in the air now, sparking against scully's.*
"oh, excuse me, I must be tired." * flashes a smile that just barely manages to come off as sincere.* "that is good that you have no quarrel with arwen. she is indeed a wise elf. "
*looks at the spot where Els had stood a moment ago* "it is too bad that I did not get a final farewell to elspeth, our meetings are few and far between... she seems to favour the dramatic exit!" *chuckles slightly and grins* "Oh, I know, you are not some miscreant child, but I will have a bed and a mug of cocao ready for you when you come back!" *gives a good-natured laugh* "in the mean time, I will take a look at that note and finish with the dishes... "
*Mina's nervous babbling is cut off by the mysterious elf's graceful bow, and the stands in the doorway as she watches Scully dissappear down the path. She relaxes slightly and ponders Scully's confusing words, what she has become? could that possibly mean... if it does, then maybe I could... no, a druid must not meddle with the affairs of others. She had a feeling that prying too far into this particular mystery would prove dangerous, and yet... but she had her own deeds to attend to that night. "Fernesce, may I leave the cleaning to you?" *The squirrel, who had been staring after Scully and nervously sniffing the air, looks back at Minas and chitters what seems to be a sarcastic retort as it hops lightly onto the sink. "It is just for tonight, and I will return soon. How about I bring you back some of your favorite nuts?" *squirrel chitters a bit more, but seems placated.*
"I am greatly indebted to you, my friend." In one fluid motion, the red-haired elf pulls up the hood of her cloak, gathers up her satchel and leaps up into the branch of the nearest tree, soon disappearing into the forest in the opposite direction the milk-skinned elf had gone.*

*Minas sits in the center of a grove of oak trees, gently rocking back and forth, back and forth where she knelt in the moonlight. A string of incomprehensible syllables escapes her lips, rising and falling with the wind.
Her closed eyelids flutter a bit, and slowly open. She blinks a few times, then rises and bows to the great trees.*
"Thank you, most wise ones."
*she glides out of the grove on light and silent feet, feeling reenergized and dazed, the remnants of the trance still clouding her conciousness. Meditating like this always left her feeling strange. Absentmidedly she looks up at the moon, almost a quarter through it's nightly journey.* "I wonder if she has returned yet... but I must hasten back, or Fernesce will certainly be angry with me." *a small ironic smile plays across her lips at this thought. Remembering her promise to her companion, Minas put her forehead lightly to the rough bark of a nearby tree, and suddenly she knew where best in this forest to find that particular squirrel-treat. with a whispered thanks to the tree, she turns on her heel and walks briskly in that direction.*

*jumps lightly from a branch of the willow tree to Elspeth's doorstep. She reaches for the door handle then stops. She sensed, more acutely than she would usually, Elspeth's prescence within the house.*
"That's strange, I thought that she had gone to the palace...well I guess she has a right to be here, I mean, It IS her house..." *Minas whispered to herself, then sofly sang her greetings to announce her arrival. Quietly she opened the door, and caught sight of Elspeth in the kitchen.* "Why hello, Els! I didn't expect you to be back so soon!" *Fernesce starts to nose around in her bag, expectanly looking for his promised reward. Minas smiles at the squirrel, then reaches into her satchel and places the nuts in front of him. She saw the spotlessly clean kitchen and caught a whiff of something warn and sweet, and took several more deep draughts of it, filling her lungs with the delicious scent.*
"Mmm! Whatever is in the oven? It smells so good! And thank you so much for helping Fernesce."

*pulls up a chair and sinks down into it with a sigh of satisfaction*
"oh, that's good. I hope the festival goes well! " she says as she digs into the pie hungrily. swallows a large mouthful of berry pie and, as soon as it is polite to speak, says "Mmm! the pie is even better than it smells! and I see you still remember fernesce's partiality to toys." *smiles warmly

*nods in assent, and then proceeds to ravenously wolf the pie in a distinctly un-ladylike fashion. The meditation in the grove had left her unexpectantly hungry, as she had eaten quite a lot more that day than she usually would. After she finishes, she sits back and daintily wipes her mouth and hands with her kerchief, as if making up for her previous behaviour* "Ah, thank you again....Oh! Is it already that late? My, this has been a long day. I hope it would be fine could stay here for the night, I'm quite.. *yawn*.. tired." *starts unwinding the long rope of hair at her back, and shakes it out so it cascades around her slight shoulders.* "So tell me, how did you come across this spot anyhow?"

*A small bead of sweat dripped slowly down Scully's forehead as she concentrated on pouring in the correct amount of the berry substance. She had been working in her lab for over an hour now and she was getting very exhausted with the big day she had already. A sigh escaped her lips*

"Second experiment seems to have no change in appearance or DNA. It would seem that separating out the Elven DNA will be the only chance for a result of Invisibility..." she speaks out loud so that her little recorder next to her work place could pick it up. She quickly takes off her mask in frustration and flings out of the room.

"Ahhhh!!! This is so frustrating!!! If I can't even get a potion for invisibility, how am I ever going to find the slightest response for...." she gestures rudely to her own self. "...this!!! Concentrate......there must be another way." she says and then looks up at the clock. She thinks to herself that she better head back to Elspeth's place.

*Scully walks through her lab and into the living quarters of her small home. She quickly throws off her lab coat and dresses herself in a pair of grey sweat pants and a close fitting black T-shirt that showed just a line of her stomach from being that small. Knowing at night it gets pretty chilly sometimes, she wraps herself in her dark blue cloak again. Her red hair was a wavy long mess at the moment but she didn't care. While putting her hair into a messy ponytail she walks out of the front door and heads to Elspeth's place. A few minutes later she strolls up the staircase around the tree and knocks politely, even though she hears them inside.*

*smiles upon seeing scully and walks over and gives her a warm hug. then offers scully a piece of pie and some tea. *makes an easel appear and begins to paint as she listens to the conversation smile
