Amanda giggled watching them. She rolled over on her stomach as she watched them with her head in her arms. She hummed a lullaby,similar to her lockets song an watched them.

Jinxy and the bats flew over to Jasper's chair and tipped it. Jasper fell on his face and woke out of his trance. He stood up and dusted himself off. He walked over to Amanda. He knelt down so his eyes met hers. "Are you okay?"

Every time he looked into her eyes like that she became speechless. She struggled for words for a second "I'm better..just a little weak..." She managed to look away for a split second to retain herself. "Hows you arm?'' Why am I whispering?'

"Its nothing. It should be healed by now. Jasper stood up and took off his shirt. He looked at his arm and showed Amanda. There was nothing there. He smiled to her.

Amandas jaw almost dropped. "wow...." she sat up slowley,still getting dizzy.She put her hand to her head.

"I just sat up to fast" she closed her eyes and tried to focus. His hand was making it better but she didn't want to say anything.She slowley opened her eyes."Wheres Jinxy?"

Right on cue Jinxy came flying in a stole a kiss on Amanda's cheek. You coul dhear a little bat giggle. Jasper looked alittle jealous but didn't say anything. " Well Thats good your okay. The posion isn't bothering you anymore is it?"

Amanda shook her head no with a little smirk. She patted Jinxys head."Yeah..it doesn't bother me anymore.I think I'm just dealing with the after effects.

Amanda smiled and rubbed Jinxy's head. "Your not hungry are you?" she asked quietly. She ran a hand through her hair.

Jasper looked away. Jinxy flapped her wings and then just took in the petting. " Am I hungry?" Jasper said looking hurt. He knew what she meant. "No . I am fine . Thank you. " Jasper said a little stotishly. Jinxy stuck his tongue at Jasper. Jasper growled and glared at Jinxy.

"Sorry...I didn't mean to offend you..I just didn't -"she sighed "sorry.." She looked down and lifted her hand of Jinky. Her locket opened again."Damn it..." she grabbed it and pulled it from her neck.

Jasper was over by her in a flash. He held her hand that held the locket. " Amanda..." Jasper said as he looked into her eyes. His hair fell in his face. " Don't..... Doesn't this mean something to you?" Jasper said as he moved his fingers so he was holding her hand and the locket between theirs.

Amanda fuaght the tears in her eyes "No.."she lied. "It just reminds me how my family told me that I was worthless and meant nothing to them..."She bit her lower lip,trying not to let the tears spill over. "They thought I was the omen becuase my mom had an affair and I was the reminder"Shewas suprised at how easy she could tell him everything.
