Skye smiled and turned, heading over to kneel next to Syrus.
"Hi!" she said brightly, putting one hand on his back to get his attention. She giggled softly. "I am going to help you clean up, okay? You worked hard to make such good food so you should not have to work so hard to clean up for all of us."
And she moved once more to the other side of the blanket and started picking up the dishes.

When Syrus felt Skye's hand on his back and her voice, he clutched at his chest as if he were trying to save something that was about to drop by pulling it closer. After a few moments of just holding...whatever it was...there, he put his hand in his pocket and took it out again.
Facing Skye, he was about to say thanks, but noticed she was busy, and he didn't want to bother her as he went about cleaning again.

Skye was completely oblivious to the shock that she had given Syrus, and as she cleaned up she began to hum softly - not the tuneless humming of a deaf girl, but an actual tune; and after a few moments, as she put her flask of iced tea back into her bag, she began to sing instead.
Once everything was cleaned up, she turned back to Syrus and smiled brightly.
"All done?" she asked, clasping her hands behind her back.

Syrus smiled and nodded. "Yes, all done," he said, fighting back the flush that seemed to be creeping in on his face. If Syrus was to ever play poker, most likely every player would know what he was thinking, he had such a horrid poker face.

Skye blinked, surprised by his blush. What had caused it? Had she done something?
She looked behind her to see if there was anything there that might have embarrassed him, but there was nothing ... she could see that behind him, Suzura was still working on her stretches ... but that wasn't embarrassing, and Syrus couldn't see her anyways. What was going on?
She cleared her throat awkwardly, and one wing opened and folded again.
"So ... we dance with Suzura?" she asked, trying to act as if nothing were wrong.

'Yes! I am ready~' said Suzura, hopping a little bit. She was ready to do something...and take away attention from Syrus so he wouldn't feel so awkward.

Skye smiled and rose to her feet once more, smiling faintly at Syrus.
"I help Suzura dance for a while," she told him softly. "You come too? Or you just watch?"
She wanted to pretend everything was normal, but something ... was different. She couldn't put her finger on it, but there was something that just was ... different. She didn't even know if it was good or bad.

"I'll just watch..." he said, sitting down as to prove it, though he fiddled with his hands a bit, feeling awefully nervous on the inside for some odd reason.

Skye nodded, feeling a little edgy, though she couldn't say why. For the first time in her life, she was actually feeling ... self conscious about her dancing. She wanted to dance especially well this time ...
She brushed past him and was about to join Suzura when she came to a sudden decision, and she headed back to her bag and pulled out a small pair of sandals, identical to her own, but much much smaller.
"Here, Suzura," she said, returning to the tiny angel and holding the sandals out to her. "I brought these for you ... there are the sandals I learned to dance in when I was just a Surprise ... I thought maybe you would like them."
She smiled and held the sandals out in her hands almost as if they were an offering.

Suzura stared at them for a few moments, not knowing what to say.
'They are very pretty Skye...are you sure you want me to have them? They are a reminder of when you where young...' she said shifting a little bit and feeling rather undeserving of the gift.

Skye giggled and tapped her toes on the ground.
"I can not wear them anymore," she smiled brightly at Suzura, feeling much more natural now. "What good are they? I have many things for memories, I think it is your turn. I think you will be a good dancer ... but it is better to dance with the sandals so that you do not hurt your feet so much."
She reached down and hugged Suzura. "You are my good friend, I want to give this to you. They can be special for you and for me."

Suzura was quick to return the hug, and when the embrace ended, she smiled.
'Okay then, but you might have to teach me how to tie them,' she said.

"Is very easy," she assured the younger angel, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Just wrap the ties around your leg and then tie a knot! You know how? I can show you if not ..."

Suzura nodded. Knots she could handle. Sitting down, she placed the first one on, looking at Skye's so she knew how to wrap it, and began working on it slowly, until she was able to knot it at the top. Looking at her's and then at Skye's, she deemed it good enough and went to work on the next one.

Skye smiled brightly as she watched the younger angel tie the sandals on her feet, and her eyes sparkled with approval.
"Very good!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "Now try walk in them, see if they fit you good, and if they do then we can dance together! For Syrus!"
She bit her lip then and blushed. She hadn't meant to say that last part ... not out loud anyways. But she had worked on a dance that she wanted to show him ... a dance she had made especially for him ...
She tried her best not to look at him as she watched Suzura finish lacing up the sandals.
