Okay, okay. I've finished the prologue and I'm really proud of it, and after some minor fixes under the eye of Kirby, I've made it as good as I can for right now. I really hope you all enjoy it. I will post it in a few seconds, but I've just gotta say... WOOT TO 50 POSTS!!! sorry. I was kinda excited about that.

Moonelight Prologue:
The night was warm with a cool breeze, the blanketing black of the night sky cascading around me. Speckled on it like windows to the summerlands, were the stars, seeming to go on forever. The full moon acted as my guide, bright and comforting, almost like a mother guiding her child. As I walked, I watched the houses, as one by one the lights inside flickered out. The peaceful setting of my own hometown settled into me and I let a small smile spread across my lips. None of this, at that time, crossed my mind as strange. I would wonder later at my love of the night… but not now. Now all that mattered was that I was where I belonged… I passed a dark alley, full of shadows, but that didn’t scare me. There was nothing that scared me in the night, I found, perhaps because I felt powerful with the moon shining down on me. As I passed, a teenage boy stepped out in front of me. I could see him smiling in the silvery moonlight, and it was perhaps because of this I wasn’t frightened. He kneeled down on one knee and the light caught in his bright blue eyes for a second. It made me stare in awe, the color of his eyes, but only for a moment, for after that moment, it was gone. “Hello, Moone,” he said kindly. “Will you walk with me?” he asked. For some strange reason, I nodded. It didn’t feel like he was dangerous, so I let him put a hand on my shoulder as we walked. His presence was comforting to me somehow, though I didn’t know why. Still, I knew enough to be wary of a stranger. “Who… are you?” I asked, looking up at him. He smiled. “I’ll be teaching you a lot of new things that you’ve never even dreamed of. But hear me Moone… you must take this seriously.” I nodded. I don’t know if he saw it, but he continued anyway. “Tonight I want to show you something about the moon. It’s the perfect night for it, so I decided it would be a good first lesson.” “Wait,” I interrupted him. “How do you know my name, and what is this all about? Why are you going to teach me things?” I asked, my six year old brain fighting to keep up. “I know your name… because where I’m sent from, they know the name of every person that existed. But that’s not a story for today. I’m teaching you these things because much later in your life you will need them. It’s called Magick and I’m sure that you’ll like it,” he explained calmly and kindly. I sunk into a thoughtful state for a moment. Then I looked up at him. “You still haven’t told me who you are…” I pointed out. He waited a moment, staring up, and I followed his gaze to the stars. “My name is Lament… and I’m your guardian.”
