He took the hit, it was going to hurt, but if it would throw her off balance, then it would be worth it.

He noticed the blood pouring from her neck wound. It wasn't fatal, but it would be serious quickly.

His reiatsu compressed in his fist and he punched her multiple times in the chest, heart, stomach, lungs, diaphragm, collarbones and all over there. He wanted to make it so that her entire chest cavity collapsed. And if it didn't, the blood would pour faster out of her neck wound.

Either way, she was a dead woman.

He added in a head butt just for good measure.

(( Ok... I think I got it now... I didn't read Daven or Feiy's post, so if I make a stupid mistake because of that let me know. I just need to post. ))

Yuki didn't much care that Jan wasn't treating her like a real threat, the more he underestimated her the better. She might even be able to trap him better if he thought she wasn't up to anything. But when he said Rhia had told him about her, she wanted to slap her old Vice captain for helping the enemy.

When he shunpoed to her side she ducked down quickly, almost to the point of disappearing and sliced at his legs with one hand dragging the other behind her in a half circle on the ground. The grass behind her instantly lit on fire at the touch of the talon gloves, and the fire began to rage with an indescribable furry. If she caught even Jan's pant legs he would begin to burn just like the grass behind her. Since she had first learned to use her Shikai she had improved a great deal, so now even body fat and muscle burned like a candle covered in gasoline.

When she figured Jan was about to retaliate she stopped slicing at Jan's legs and shunpoed backwards, through the fire and erupting from the other side unscathed. It was wonderful to have the immunity to fire, she would remember to thank Arthion later. Hopefully the fire would be a nice barrier between her and Jan and buy her a few seconds.

What's that? Feiy looks like she could use some help... Maybe I can take Yuki's attack and use it against Daven! Yuki seemed to be aiming at his shins, so Jan used a backflip to evade her physical strike as the ground in front of him was set ablaze. "Oh, this is perfect! ...Sorry, Yuki, but the point of team combat is for me to be able to help my teammate, so I'll have to get a bit more serous from now on! CONCENTRATE!" With his electromagnetic field, he was able to concentrate the air molecules in the flame to literally lift the fire between himself and Yuki and send it flying at Daven, who was focused on Feiy. Due to the way he had to deliver the attack, it now held the propertes of fire, electricity, and wind.

"Phew... That took a bit more than I thought it would..." Wiping some sweat off of his brow and restarting his electromagnetic field closely around him, Jan sat for a breather. Putting his left hand over his chest and setting his Zanpakuto on his shoulder with his right, Jan thought to himself. If she's really worth my time, she'll see a trap... But my chest is starting to ache, so I can't dawdle much longer...

((EDIT: All Jan knows of Yukimaru from Rhia is her name and former station, so no worries there!))

(( Shush you! Yuki dosn't know that! XD... I also think your sitting down is an interesting move. My old teacher used to do that to me, and it bugged the hell out of me because he always managed to get me in a headlock!!!... Might have had something to do with him being nearly three times my size. ))

Yuki didn't bother to help out Daven, he was a big boy and could take care of himself.... Well, figuratively anyway. Besides, she could only save him from the fire, there was so much wind that would rip her apart. She turned to Jan, who had decided he needed to sit down, although the snap crackle and pop of his electric field alerted her to some sort of plot. Cleaver.... kinda like a mouse trap, lay some cheese and hope for a stupid mouse.

Yuki wasn't going to fall for it. She wasn't one for kido, but throwing stuff was a whole different story. She knelt down and drove her clawed gauntlets deep into the ground, to dig out a fistful of dirt and grass. The grass, the roots, the bugs, and anything organic that could burn, did burn, on contact.

"Batter up..."

She said, winding up like a pro baseball pitcher and giving it a heave at Jan. The first meteor of a dirt ball had barely left her hand before she was back on one knee digging up another, and another, and another. Making a hale storm of flying balls of flaming grass and dirt.

Feiy could hear Jan talking out loud quite clearly. Using more of her reiatsu to create thin film of her energy to further endure his attacks. She needed Daven to back so she could hear herself again. The strain on her neck was going to make the wound worse. She spoke quickly to not strain it.

"CardinalWindsThirdDegreeSecondStageKickStartMyHeart!" The shards slid off her back as they went into another degree formation. Due to her increasing frailty, she gently pressed two of her shards over her heart. The remaining six shards dangled past her fingers, a barely visible "wire" of electricity binding her hands to the dangling shards.

She fired a double eternal gale to bring herself out of the chasm as the flames rushed inside like water to a drain. She stayed in the air, breathing becoming heavy as she tried to heal her body again. She moved her free hand around, more specifically her fingers as she made the shards swing around body as a means to protect herself from Daven. The wires merely pass through her, becoming tangible again when they passed through.

(Think of how people use poi. But she uses it as a fighting style.)

((Do you mean a real-life martial arts teacher? That's the sort of thing I've always wanted to do! Also, it would be unfair of me to send multiple attacks at Daven while he isn't online to defend himself, so unless we catch up in post count or he responds to my last attack, I'll be focusing on Yuki again... Although I'm never against helping Feiy a little..))

"Batter? We aren't baking, you know... Oh, unless that stuff is the batter and you're baking it... Right!" Happy to understand Yuki's joke (or so he thought), Jan swung his Zanpakuto straight down, sending a wave of electrically-charged air at the small meteor shower. However, he had actually removed all oxygen from his control, seving to suffocate the incoming flames, rather than simply try to blow them out. The air pressure also served to send the remaining shrapnel off-course. "That's kind of a cute attack... I may try it sometime!" Underlying his cheerful tone was a slighty pained expression as Jan's chest began to ache worse than before. Luckily, his deep breaths did help to take in the extra oxygen around him and brng him back to a normal level of stamina. Since wind was not his primary element and he had been waiting to release Shikai, manpulating air with electricity was costing him more energy than any of his usual attacks.

I know that "manipulation of sub-atomic particles" is cool and all, but it's not much if I have to move the larger atoms to attack... Hey, are you complaining about my abilities?! No! Of course not! It's just that I had wanted to keep Shikai in reserve. Yeah, I see what you're saying... Keep the better cards hidden until the enemy reveals their ace, huh? Yeah... That's what I had wnated, but I may not last much longer at this pace. Then we'll just have to get creative with the basic moves! Cracking his neck slightly as he stood up, Jan winced as a slight amount of pain spread through his body. "Split Wave..." With a wave of his sword-arm, Jan's electromagntic field split into two like a cell undergoing mitosis. "...Healing Wave!" One half re-enlargened around Jan while the other moved to Fiey's position and closed in on her. Jan was literally recharging the cells in her body, and while the effect was not exactly healing, nor was it instantaneous, it would kick in when she needed it.

"Good, now that that's taken care off... Shall we, Yukimaru? Protecting Shine!" Taking off with a burst of speed, Jan rushed Yuki head-on. Of course, Jan was not so foolish as to attack and leave himself defenseless. His last command had served to collapse the electromagnetic wave upon himself, creating a thin but durable barrier layer on top of his skin. This gave him a slight blue aura that crackled as he moved. As he approached, Jan slashed at Yuki repeatedly, releasing more electrical energy arcs as he got closer. "Stun Edge... STORM!"

(( Im here, just trying to let everyone get to the same post set. Fiey is on 11, I'm on 11, Jan and Wolfess are on 6 and need to post 5 more each so we are all even. That way we can start interacting as it comes to the end. ))

(( EDIT: I know my next move, and it's going to be really injurious for Fiey. ))

(( Yeah. I was little and he wasn't...:: shrugs:: thats how it went... Anyway. Thanks Daven. ))

Yuki grimaced as Jan made a comment on her pitching arm. Apparently he was either way older than her or not American at all... Curse being the only American in this whole damn place! She didn't even bother to let Jan help Feiy. She ran towards him as the electromagnetic wave split to cover part of himself and part of Feiy and made one long slash, aiming from the collar bone to the opposing hip bone before backing off.

Jan came after her as she backed off. Yuki ducked low to the ground, to avoid most of Jan's attacks and give him less room to swing. Every few steps she would let a claw brush the ground, making sure that it was only embers that she could force to flare up later. Yuki danced around in circles, starting to feel sick again now that the electricity was so close once more. But she kept going... just a little more... keep it up... come on... where her thoughts as she danced around Jan in a circle, brushing the ground with her claws every so often in hopes of trapping him and basically cooking him alive.

This maneuver was obviously costing Yuki... being so close to so much charge was making her turn green.

Yuki came after him in the middle of his protecting of Feiy, but all Jan had to do was roll to his left and let the Healing Wave pass through Yuki. "Silly... A human body can't stop an electromagnetic wave so easily! I chose not to let it affect you this time, but be more careful in the future... You may actually trap yourself without me setting one in the first place!"

It seemed that Yuki was planting embers into the ground as he made his advance. Jan was able to detect the ones near him with his compacted field and used the energy to snuff them out so that they wouldn't be of any use to Yuki later. "I think you may be planning something like my Hammer Hell, but with a required set-up... Sorry, but an attack so similar to my own is too easy to rea-" Jan cut himself off as he stumbled slightly, his chest now aching heavily. I haven't faught like this in far too long... Give me a go at her. I'm sure you'll recover quickly enough. Sure, we can all fight together then!

The electromagnetic field around Jan dispersed as his reiatsu levels reset themselves to a low base level. Jan stopped his advance in lieu of this and put his left hand on the wakisashi at his hip, drawing it quickly and sending it a foot upwards. It spun one-hundred and eighty degrees before Jan snatched it out of the air by its hilt in a position to weild it properly as his energy levels quickly rose beyond what they were before. "...I got carried away back there... My weakness was definately starting to show, but now... You'd better prepare yourself!" With his Zanpakuto, he re-formed the concentrated barrier above his skin and returned to glowing and sparking. Aiming his wakisashi at Yuki, he fired a single concentrated beam of light-based reiatsu, aiming for her gut so a hit wouldn't prove to be lethal. "Let three in harmony surpass one in perfection..."

(( Sorry guys. Still in the mountains... I have to share interwebs with three other people so my time is limited. :: is posting one at a time these days:: ))

Yuki was dissapointed to see that Jan found her embers so easily. The ones he didn't catch she forced to burn quick and hot, so they burned deep in the earth out of his reach for later use. Hopefuly he would forget and it would prove lethal. As soon as Jan took a stumble Yuki was on him, a hard sort of open handed uppercut was meant to rip through his ribcage, with the claws, if he where standing up. Since he had stumbled though he was at an odd angle and even if she hit it wouldn't be deadly. With her free hand she took a few extra cheep shots wile the electromagnetic field was still down, before backing off.

She had felt his Riatsu level and took advantage of it wile she could, but now that it started to spike again she backed off. It was interesting how he decided he had so much time to talk and give her so much warning. She raised one hand, happy that her unique shikai allowed her to use kido and not have to drop her weapon.

"Mirror door"

Yuki had used this kido too often to have to actually say it aloud. Jan's light reiatsu smashed against her shield and she took that moment to amp it up as well. All these long range attacks of his where starting to piss her off anyway.

"Burn the heavens, Arthion."

She muttered behind the shield. In response, armor erupted from the base of her gauntlets, to run all the way up her arms and cover part of her chest, it glowed with a dull orange fire. Wings of fire erupted from her back and a great fiery dragon's head reared up from behind her, wile a tail of yellow orange flame dragged on the ground.

Yuki shunpoed away from the safety of her little bubble shield , trailing fire, but that didn't matter. Jan could see her with that stupid electro field anyway, She stopped to his side and the dragon's head opened up to spew molten lava at Jan with surprising speed.

((BGM: Hiruandan, from the Guilty Gear 2: Overture OST. It's a good rock theme with Japanese overtones, and the title's primary translation (Inconspicuous Man) fits Jan well.))

Jan simply took the few shots that Yuki took at him since his re-powering-up would take care of any external damge. The Reiatsu flowing through his body would see that any prior damage, including his aching chest, would be fixed quickly enough. Jan did have to weave to the side as Yuki's initial claw attack made its way for his ribs, since any deep cuts would not be so easy to heal, but since it was a single attack, there was no real problem.

Both Jan and Mito were sad to see their piercing light beam so easliy deflected, but they were comforted by the fact that it seemed that Yuki was finally using her Bankai, making the battle more worth their time. Still, Jan made a silly face as he saw the dragon coming at him.

"...Wouldn't surprise me if yours was the was the first 'Dragon Summoning-Slash-Transformation' Bankai, but I've seen it before..." Simply utilising Mito's Sonido to get out of the path of the molten lava, he wasted no time in continuing to rush around Yuki, hoping that the sonic booms from his supersonic movement would help keep her of balance while he fired more light beams at her. The beams kept firing at the rate of an automatic firearm, while the constantly moving source would make a simple mirror useless in defending against it.

Of course, Jan was sure to avoid the little patches of Yuki's reiatsu in the gorund, but could not stop to snuff them out. Instead, he made a note of keeping track of them for later usage.

(( That comment on my bankai's unoriginality hurts you know... I intentionally based it off Toshiru's bankai as part of my character's back story crying
@Daven: Jan has 9 posts, I have 8... Well, I have 9 now. But still your count is off.))

Yuki was sad to see she wasn't able to do any massive damage with her first strike. Oh well, thankfully Jan didn't bother to snuff out the fire trail she had made earlier, or bothered to cool the magma she had sent at him... This is assuming he still could. She ducked and weaved through the first cupple shots he fired at her, whipping the dragon's tail around all the wile to expand the fire around them. Jan was slowly trapping himself in his own complex pattern of shots.

Several of the light shots bit into her sides, that weren't armored from her bankai, from the narrow avoidances. Yuki simply couldn't keep this up forever, and each beam left searing, painful marks over every inch of skin it managed to hit. Thankfully there was a simple solution.

She dodged one more shot, and jumped straight up into the air. Her zanpacto spirit was too big to pull off this maneuver, but Yuki was much smaller.. with the same wingspan. She was able to leap straight up into the air and away from the beams, beat her wings and be off and out of his firing range, doing a few loops and baroll rolls in the air, just to make sure Jan wouldn't be able to get at her.

Now that Yuki was out of immediate danger, she took the opportunity to amp up the fire trails she had set using her tail wile Jan took pot shots at her. The fire trail she had made exploded into activity, eating up anything it could burn nearby. Even the magma the dragon head spewed out earlier seemed to move a little faster in response. Yuki imagined that Jan felt like a rat caught in a deadly maze right about now.

As Jan weaved through his carefully-constructed maze, he began charging more Hollow-based energy into his body for another assault. Winding outwards to gain more distance from Yuki's magma, Jan used Sonido to get in the air, using basic Hoho to stay above some more fire while shooting Mito's concentrated light beams. Simply staying in the air, Jan quickly glanced down at the blazing chaos below him. Good thing this is relatively simple... She can't effectively use that sort of thing if I'm not on the ground.

Not letting up on his attack, Jan began to speak while firing. Due to his supersonic movement around Yuki, his voice would sound distorted and come from all directions around her. "Have you heard? The humans recently researched the true nature of light. While there isn't a set law yet, light is composed of photons, in exactly the same as gamma radiation. That radiation can't be blocked by anything less than twenty feet of concrete... But I've been using low-energy forms of the photon like my elctromagnetic field up until now. Would you like a glimpse at the true power of light?"

Releasing the built-up energy out of his mouth, Jan began firing a barrage of Bala shots charged with some of his own electromagnetic energy to accompany his light beams. These would not only add more damage if they connected, but they could also home in on Yuki's nervous system electricity. He would wait a little to see if Yuki could handle a radiation barrage...
