((Alright, Kuro. I'll try to wrap this fight up tonight then! As for Ryoku, It's a fitting place for him. Din, No problem, but remember double parenthases for OOC speech.))
Fefnir was panting slightly as he struck again and again at Din from every possible angle. It had been quite sometime since he had needed to use his True Shukuchi on anyone, and the strain was beginning to show. Fefnir's teeth were clenched, his jaw locked with the tension, and his entire body was starting to emit steam from his sweat evaporating due to the friction created by such rapid movements. It was unbelievable how much punishment Din could take, and Fefnir respected him for that. But respect does not equal mercy, and Fefnir's intensity only increased from there. "I can see that you've got the hang of my attacks, kid!" He called, the joy creeping into his voice, "I've never felt more ALIVE!" Fefnir broke off his onslaught and jumped back a few yards, preparing his next move. He sunk low to the ground, and after placing the sword where it's hilt would be, stepped and quickly swung toward Din's neck. He intentionally missed his first strike, then spun once he landed to use the centrifugal force to increase the strength of his attack.
((Got to jump off for a while. Be back in an hour or so!))

He intentionally missed his first strike, then spun once he landed to use the centrifugal force to increase the strength of his attack. Din could hear Fefnir panting as he kept on striking relentlessly not giving Din a chance to breath very well luckily Fefnir would give out before he did..."You should feel alive, this is the only thanks I can give you for letting me see for the second time in many many years..." Din replied huffing from the immense strain his violet Drive was emitting on his Spiritual pressure, any longer and his bones would start to crack another streak of luck occurs when Fefnir breaks and leaps missing Din "Huh?" Din is surprised by a skilled Shinigami missing such a clear hit , just then Din manages to catch on to what Fefnir is trying to do due to his Reiatsu levels lightning him up like a Christmas tree in the dark "Smooth operator!" Din smirks and leaps away from Fefnirs vicinity temporarily disengaging his Violet drive to stretch out his reiatsu in a cascading flow , green sparks vent from the pores of his skin as he readies himself for a challenge..

"hah... hah... So.... you released..... all..... the gathered energy?" Fefnir said, panting after his last strike. He quickly got his second wind, though, and composed himself, placing the bokuto on his right shoulder. Fefnir silently slid his arms out of his shirt, then folded it down on his waist. There was a large ammount of dust floating in the air from the furious movements of the attackers, but it seemed to create a bubble around the combatants, fearing to get close. "It's time we stopped playing," He called to Din. My eyes can't take much more of this strain.... Fefnir thought, his sight weakening, I'll have to wrap this up quickly. Fefnir didn't even flinch when he attacked again. He disapeared, reapearing in front of Din in the clouds of dirt and stabbed toward his head. The blow was fierce, and the dust was all swept outward from the force of it.

red_moon_wolfess The dragon wasn't happy to see he burned a molten hole in the earth for nothing. The feathered flap of wings alerted him to where his opponent was, directly overhead. He bent his serpentine head so he could look up at Tenchi and roared out of frustration up at the angel. One of his weaknesses in battle was his size. One half decent hit would easily slay an opponent, but the same size worked against him if he was going to try to move quickly. Always having to pick up steam. When he saw the feathers headed for his eyes he didn't dare try and dodge them, but took a smaller breath and huffed a lesser flame towards them. The feathers lit up like little candles and the dragon shut his eyes, letting the molten metal wash over him like water. Being a dragon he happily welcomed heat, and shook his head like a dog to allow him to open his eyes before the iron took shape. With that done he looked back up at Tenchi with a toothy grin. There was one thing his size was good for... Hight, he wouldn't even have to take flight to catch him. He reared up on his back legs and took several snaps at him. His teeth, each as long as Tenchi's forearm flashed as he opened and closed his mouth with force that would easily crush bone as he snapped at him. Kinda like a cat after a fly. (( In case you don't know dragon loor. several weak points include the underside of joints, such as the armpits and backside of the knees. There is also one point just above the throat that's a soft spot. Its a vent for heat so their hearts don't overheat... or something like that... I don't remember the exact anatomy for that one, but that's another weak point. )) ((That's good to know... To bad Tenchi doesn't have a clue though! XD)) Letting out a "tch" Tenchi wasn't surprised at all that the dragon could reach him at his height. There was that possibility that he could fly even higher to avoid him, but Arthion had wings too so that would have been pointless. Tenchi knew from the beginning that his size compared to the dragon's served as both an advantage and disadvantage. Though Arthion was much larger and slower, Tenchi's speed wouldn't do him any good when it came to attacking the great beast. Doing the only thing he could at the moment, Tenchi began evading the dragon's huge snapping jaws. It was a bit difficult, considering that Tenchi had to beat his wings in several directions in order to properly steer himself in the right direction. There were a couple of close calls- even one where he thought he saw his own reflection on one of the glistening fangs. After a few moments, Tenchi knew that he wasn't about to go nowhere unless he retaliated. Since all he knew about the dragon was that he could breathe fire and that he was covered in thick scales, he had to find some way to cut him or at least get him to back off. Tenchi quickly realized where one of these places were. Tenchi disappeared for a second only to reappear merely a couple feet away form the dragon's snout. He did this to perhaps throw the dragon off for an instant; long enough for his plan to possibly work. Even though this idea could go drastically wrong if the beast decided to spit fire at him, Tench, not really concerned for his own safety at that moment, beat his wings very quickly and hard. Several of his feathers were thrust forward at the dragon's open mouth, ready to slice into his tongue and throat.

(( If he ever does figure them out please don't go for the throat soft spot. That's an insta kill, it's right over the heart. 3nodding ))
Arthion wasn't suprised at the rapid movement, but became quickly annoyed with how he just couldn't catch the damn guy! He felt like he was swatting at a fly and debated using his claws for a moment. They would be a little swifter, and he had two sets. Just before he prepared to lift himself up so Tenchi was in arm's reach the bird man appeared directly in front of his nose.
Arthion didn't let his mind get in the way of action, and opened his jaw wide and attempted to chomp down on Tenchi's wing, and shake his head violently maby dislocate a few joints on the delicate wing. When suddenly his mouth was filled with a stinging sensation that reminded him of a thousand bees, Arthion opened up his mouth and let out a great roar of pain! Shaking his head violently to get whatever it was out of his mouth, he let out gouts of flame in every direction to melt whatever it was in his mouth.
After several moments the stinging stopped and Arthion spit the plasma-like liquid feathers onto the ground, the hot iron igniting the grass where it landed instantly. After that he hardly took note of it and trampled all over the flame as if it where not boiling hot, in his attempt to find that tricky little chicken man. His muzzle dripped dark red, almost black, with his blood from the many slicing blades that tore apart his mouth. He growled deep in his chest, looking around for where Tenchi was now.

((Luckily zanpaku-to's can be repaired if they are broken or hurt... ^^)) Glad that his little plan worked, Tenchi was not at all surprised what happened next. The moment Arthion closed his jaws, his left wing was trapped between the dragon's teeth. As Arthion began to thrash and move his head around, Tenchi was pulled right along with it until the Dragon's jaw opened once more. Though it was not the full wing, it still crippled it to the point of control loss in the air. Tenchi had no choice but to allow himself to glide. Though this damage wasn't beyond repair, he had to wait quite a while for the spirit particles of this world to heal him. Until then, he'd have to make do on the ground. Landing softly on the ground, he stared up as the beast continued to thrash and roar. Droplets of blood landed on Tenchi's cheek along with the hot, melted metal of his own weapons. It burned, leaving sores on his white skin. Not bothering to wipe them away, he had more important matters to worry about. Glancing to his left, he could see that his appendage was indeed torn and there were many feathers missing. Glancing upward again, he could see that his missing feathers were still floating around in the sky. It was apparent that unlike his opponent, he did not flinch nor cry out in pain. Though he could feel his body weaken from his wounds a bit, he was going to fight this out until he could no longer move.

Fefnir tried to dodge the strike at his leg, but when he lifted his right foot, the bokuto cought it, whipping it backwards. Fefnir roared in pain as he tried to catch himself and put pressure on his now-injured ankle. "This is the END!!" he yelled, "I'm going to destroy you, bad foot or not!" Fefnir leapt at his opponent, determined to defeat him by any means, he reached his peak: True Shukuchi, the fastest he could travel, nerly unblockable and just as hard to track. There was no warning for the next attack. There was just the oppressive silence caused by the fear of the very air itself, and the sudden ringing of the blade loosed on the world.
((I'm still using the wood sword, by the way. It's vibrating due to the speed of the attack))

(( This is true ^_^. ))
Arthion's breathed deeply. He was fairly unhappy with having his mouth sliced open, but it wasn't going to slow him down much. He took note of several feathers floating idly around his head and snuffed them out with small bits of flame so the liquid metal fell to the ground useless. With that done, he unceremoniously crashed back down to all fours and bent his great serpentine neck around his body to see where Tenchi had gone.
"I hope that conflict didn't finish you my friend.... I held much higher expectations for you. "
He said. As Arthion continued his search he let steam issue from his nostrils as he held fire in his mouth, a small attempt to keep the bleeding and pain in his mouth at bay. Perhaps a pre-prepared strike as well, depending on how he found Tenchi.

Tenchi grinned widely as he finally flicked off one of the shards of hardened metal from his cheek. He was somewhat disappointed that Arthion was smart enough to get rid of the stray feathers. Then again, it was also apparent that the large beast could not see him from where he stood. Though the two were completely different in size, their wounds put them on equal grounds. That would teach that dragon to snap his jaws at him!
"I wouldn't want to disappoint you that much..." Tenchi remarked loudly as if he assumed the dragon could not hear from his towering height.
Just after he spoke, Tenchi reached over his shoulder and plucked out one of the larger plumes from his wings. Holding the black bladed feather like a dagger, he disappeared and reappeared next to the dragon's foot. His empty black eyes now aiming for his next target, Tenchi quickly threw the single feather for the soft spot between the dragon's toes.

Arthion looked down to where Tenchi called from, rather loudly. Although he was high up a dragon's hearing wasn't lacking in the least bit. As a reaction for Tenchi moving so quickly Arthion moved his leg rather suddenly, probably looking as silly as an Elephant running from a mouse. Thankfully he found it justified and didn't feel ashamed as Tenchi attempted to skewer the soft spot between his toes.
Arthion slowly turned around, presenting his broad side to his opponent once again, and thereby defending the few soft spots he had on his joints. The great dragon's tail wasn't nearly as slow as the rest of him though. Only one step into his turn and the dragon's tail whipped around with deadly speed towards Tenchi. As it reached it's crest, after it would have struck Tenchi a crack sound erupted from where his tail tip hit back on itself with great speed like a whip. Arthion himself hardly felt it through all the scales.

Watching the oncoming tail swishing in his direction, Tenchi did what he did best. He disappeared again though it nearly wasn’t quick enough. As he reappeared not too far away from where he started a dark blue bruise was visible on his right shoulder. Perhaps attempting to cut this dragon wasn’t the right way to go. Though Tenchi could take all day to find more soft spots on the body of this beast, he had to be quicker in order to reach them successfully. Other than between the toes, there was one more place that he knew of and fight or no fight… he wasn’t going to aim there. Do dragons even have genitalia? he quickly thought to himself as he disappeared again so that the dragon wouldn’t find him. Even though his sustained injury to his wing was still not yet healed, he had to keep himself moving to buy some time. It had dawned on Tenchi to actually use his own “special” powers but he wasn’t so sure if Arthion even had memories. Then again… Tenchi himself was a zanpaku-to and he had a hell of a history. Who’s to say that Arthion didn’t? It was almost worth a shot. Tenchi reappeared in front of the dragon. Standing his ground, he stared coldly at the beast’s face, waiting to catch his eyes.

Arthion snuffed, dissapointed to find that he had missed his target once again. Damn being so slow, it could get so annoying sometimes... Ah well, that was another thing, slow and steady wins the race. The huge dragon could easily fight on longer than the swiftly moving Tenchi. He huffed out his mouthful of fire that he had been saving, and the fireball formed in front of his nose as if he had just belched it up from the fires of hell itself.
Once again he was reduced to looking around for the tiny man. He had dissapeard again, this would get rather old rather quickly. The clang of iron alerted the great dragon to his presence, and he looked down with his black iris-less eyes towards Tenchi. He didn't appear to be getting ready to move and Arthion pondered over the idea of chomping off his other wing, if the damage to his mouth a second time would be worth ridding Tenchi of his main weapon.

Tenchi focused his energy all into his cold black eyes. Leering at the dragon, he attempted to dive into the creature’s brain to find any memories that could be used against him. Unfortunately for the dark angel, there came up… NOTHING!? It was a failure just like the last time. Perhaps this creature didn’t have any memories at all… It was a strange concept but Tenchi had this feeling that your generic zanpaku-to was indeed just an object. Who knew though… maybe Arthion would prove him wrong with his charming personality. Finally showing some expression on his face, Tenchi suddenly looked confused as he stood there for a moment, staring into Arthion’s eyes. Perhaps if this kept up, the dragon would start to assume some rather odd thoughts. It didn’t matter anymore. Tenchi was back to square one again. He’d just have to keep cutting until he found the dragon’s weakness. ((Short post, but hopefully the next one will give me something more to work with. XD)) ------------------------- Feeling rather restless and empty, Nagi felt as if he were leaning too far to one side. Wondering if he was falling over, he kept glancing at Yuki out of the corner of his eye. They had been jogging in silence for quite some time now. He felt slightly awkward with not having much to say to someone he hadn’t seen in a while. Then again, he was very glad that her bad mood seemed to be diminishing. “Hey, Yuki?” he finally asked. His voice made him sound somewhat tired from his heavy breathing. “What upset you earlier? Was it your division transfer?” He wanted to avoid this question earlier when she was so angry so it was only natural for him to wait until she cooled off a bit. A part of him didn’t want to bring it back up but that part was no longer there. Nagi was always one for discussing problems rather than keeping them bottled up in silence. He wanted to make absolutely sure that Yuki was okay now and not just trying to hold it in.
