Elizabeth look at him, "Okay," she smiled. She ate her cake, trying not to eat too quickly. After she finished it she sipped at her hot cocoa, watching him.

Mark sipped the last of his cocoa and turned to Elizabeth. "So, do you remember anything else?" he said, hoping that she didn't remember the place where he was going to take her, finally noticing that the scarf she wore was his.

"This scarf is yours..." she smiled weakly, "But that's it..." They probably were still dating, considering she still had his scarf. She felt kind of happy at that.

Mark was relieved that she didn't mention anything about the surprise. "Same for me," he lied, "Anyway, ready to go?"

"Yep," she got up, taking his hand on instinct. "Let's go." she smiled at him, feeling really warm inside.

"Great, let's go! But first, you have to wear this blindfold." Mark took out a red handkerchief and held it out. He didn't want her to remembering where he was about to take her on the way there and seeing the sights around them as they walked there might do just that.

She blinked, putting it on. She hugged his arm, not wanting to run into anything. "Okay."

'She's so cute,' Mark thought, 'There's no doubt that we were happy together.'
"Perfect! Careful now, the door's over here."
He lead her out of the store and walked with her carefully down the streets, holding onto her hand, her arm in his. They walked for a good fifteen minutes until Mark stopped them.
"We're here." Mark stood behind her and took off her blindfold. "Open your eyes."
He had taken them to a lookout point overseeing a beach that seemed to stretch out for miles and a lake the stretched so far that it seemed to reach the sky. The sun was about to set, giving the entire area a golden glow to it. The clear water shimmered and sparkled under the late-afternoon sun.

She watched in awe. "Wow..." she let go of his arm, looking at the view. "Its beautiful."

"Glad you like it," he said, hugging her from behind and resting his head on her shoulder and wrapping his arms around her waist.

Mark smiled, taking her hands into to his. Then, he gave her a light, sweet kiss on the cheek, smiled, and said, "This is where we had our first kiss."

The sun radiated a beautiful palette of yellows, oranges, and reds. A slight cool breeze whispered while the waves gracefully crashed onto the sandy shore. The moment was perfect.
Mark moved to face Elizabeth, he moved his left hand around her waist while still holding her hand with his right. He looked longingly into her eyes and felt his heart begin to race within his chest.

She opened her eyes, smiling at him. She rested her hand on his elbow, looking back at him.
