She means that if non-paying players just get the same things as the paying ones, there's no point in paying. You get the same stuff anyway, why pay?

That's called donating.
Giving money to people who did volunteered work. TJ never got a cent out of his work, except from donations, which you only give, if you want to.

Yes, but there's a difference between donating and paying. People donate to the site now, but no one pays TJ for doing dragcave stuff.
