Atem soon appeared right in front of the group and in the virtual world. He looked around, seeing the group behind him- Kaiba being one of them along with his sister. Others that he saw before, though a good amount he didn't know. He also caught glimpse of Valon, who seemed extremely distressed as he looked up to the sky. Curious, he looked up to see what he was looking at. Atem's eyes widened as he saw a child holding onto the edge of a cliff. He did not know it was Valon's brother, and he searched his memory to think whether or not that was a person who was a competitor in this game. No, he wasn't- so he was an NPC- non playable character, a virtual being. However, the monster circling above caught his interest more. "What in the world....." he growled. Was this an event? They probably had to save him. Though he felt this was a bit more of a disturbing event that Kaiba could come up with. How much more true it would be if he knew the truth of who that boy depicted. Seeing most of them had already summoned monsters, he did so as well. He raised his Dark Magician card up and called out his name, "Dark Magician!"
"Ah!" Akiko said as she saw the kid dangling from the cliff. She turned in circles, unsure what to do. "What do I do what do I do?" she said in a panic. She had no idea how to play this game- damn her for not listening. Of course, she was too shy to ask anybody what to do, so she just stayed in the back and watched. But she was so angsty about the kid- even though he was obviously only virtual. She just hoped that if he fell it wouldn't be graphic, she would lose it if it was.

((sorry for the late reply guys, was at a anime convention over the weekend...))
Joey sighed and looked around, never letting go of his sister's hand; then suddenly he looked up...seeing that everyone was doing it and saw a poor kid dangling from a cliff. "Oh no..." he said and held onto Serenity even more, looking over at Atem he saw his friend summoning his DM, he didn't know if he should summon his Red Eyes to help.
"Ah screw it....hey Atem.." the blond called out to the other. "Let Red Eyes give your magician a lift...then he can grab the boy." Joey then took out his card and summoned his dragon.."Red Eyes Black Dragon!" he called out and suddenly his beloved dragon came forth into the sky, its long black wings flapping heavily in the air and it roared loudly for all to hear. "Whoa...awesome." Joey said while staring at his dragon.

Alister stopped the moment he saw the virtual boy. A chill ran down his spine, his mind drew a blank, unable to think of anyone else but his brother who appeared to be before him, despite how he tried to tell himself it was not true.
Mai caught up to him, panting for breath. She took a deep one, and then let it all out in a huff. If only she had decided to wear something other than high heels, and if only the redhead had waited. Of course, he rushed on without thinking. Despite how he used to play the roll of being 'mister calm and collected,' it seemed he took about as much time thinking about what he was doing as Joey or Valon. Which wasn't much, at all.
"What're you doing just standing around?" Mai snapped, giving his shoulder a big slap to bring him to his senses. Whatever was going around in his head, it needed to stop. It was a game, and he was treating things too seriously. "You saw everyone else. We've gotta summon our best monsters in order to beat these things!
Alister turned to her in surprise, beginning to think rationally again. The redhead glanced at his virtual counterpart, and then at the other's brother. Kaiba made them just to get on his nerves, and it had worked. But neither of them were real, all the brunet had done was take their names and faces. Everything else was obviously off; he wasn't a useless, lovesick kid, like the other Alister was.
"All right," Alister nodded at last. He turned to the first Whiptail Crow and summoned his monster to battle. "Air Fortress Ziggurat! Attack!"
The blonde counted three hits; one from the first Air Fortress Ziggurat, one from Ruin, Queen of Oblivion, and the last from Alister's monster. "Go! Harpie Lady! Attack!" Mai commanded, watching as her winged beast appeared from thin air to strike the crow.
The bird cried out in agitation from the attackers before shattering into a thousand pieces. The other Whiptail Crows began to attack the others, clawing at each monster.

Sam thought everyone had it under control. Her monster could easily defeat the Whiptail crows but she didnt want to waste her monster's power. So she just watched, getting kind of nervous about the kid's safety.
Seto watched everyone summon their monsters. None of them were a match for his blue eyes white dragon. He was enjoying watching Alister struggle though. When he saw Atem summon his Dark magician he narrowed his eyes. He wasnt going to let him have all the glory. He yelled out his blue eyes white dragon's name and it flew down to him. "White lightning!" He yelled, blasting away most of the crows. He almost hit everyone elses monsters because he just didnt care.
Virtual Alister's monster was huge so it got caught in the blast, ruining one of its guns. He clutched his chest like he was in pain and growled. His monster soon left and he felt better. Thankfully it wasnt destroyed. He looked up at his brother and saw the boy only holding on with one hand now. "Mikey!"

Areku suddenly had a brilliant Idea, "Magician's Valkryia, go up there and get Mikey down!" she said, the Magician nodded, flying up to the little boy and taking hold of him gently.
Shikyo growled in irritation, turning around, "Kaiba, you damn p***k! YOU HIT OUR MONSTERS TOO!" she shouted, picking up a rock on the ground and throwing it at the CEO.
Serenity thought for a moment before summoning her monster, "St Joan! Come to me!" she said, the Girl appeared, clad in armor. Her Orange hair tied back, and a Sword in Hand.

Seto glared at the loud mouthed brat. "Watch your mouth when speaking to me brat. Maybe your monsters should have gotten out of the way hm? Theyre insignificant anyway." He said as his blue eyes white dragon landed beside him, the tail curving around him slightly.
Sam gulped, glad she hadnt summoned her dragon. It would have probably been hit. Seto didnt care who he had to crush to get what he wanted. She looked back at him. "Seto, I thought we had to work as a team.
"This is a competition." he said as a token appeared in front of him for getting rid of the most crows. "See? Complete a challenge and you are rewarded." He said. "Who ever survives with the most coins at the end gets a special prize." He explained. A token also appeared in front of the girl who saved Mikey.
Virtual Alister grinned. "Mikey!" He said again but happily this time as he ran over to where the Valkyria was bringing his brother down.

"Oh, I'm a brat? Coming from the one who doesn't care about anyone but himself that's real rich." she said, turning away from Seto.
Areku blinked, taking the token she smiled, as her Valkyria landed, and set Mikey on the ground. Stepping over to Mikey she asked, "Are you alright?"

Atem looked over to see Joey summoning his Red eyes. Atem smirked as he commanded, "Dark Magician, get a ride from Red Eyes Black Dragon to destroy those crows!" Dark Magician did as he was told and the two monsters sored into the air. Just as Atem was about to call out his attack, a beam of light was destroying the crows. "Watch out!" he called to his monster. Luckily, the blast did not hit them because Joey's monster manuvered around it. Atem sighed in relief a bit, yet spent no time to turn around and see were it was coming from. Kaiba's monster, the Blue Eyes, of course. "You should take caution in your recklessness, Kaiba," he snapped at him, agravated that he almost took out more then his monster. He then turned his attention to Joey. His face loosened up, unlike before while yelling at Kaiba. "Thank you Joey, if it wasn't for your monster, mine would have been destroyed," he thanked his friend.
Akiko sighed in relief when the child was brought to safety. Instead of being in the back of the group, she managed to get to the side to get a better view of the kid. She was the only one there now that did not summon a monster yet. Well, no, not really. There was another girl who did not summon anything. She was with that Kaiba guy. Well, Akiko wasn't going to summon anything now- nothing to fight. This girl was probably doing the same. Except, Akiko also wasn't sure how to do it. It was probably something so simple (which it was) but she wasn't going to try it yet and screw up- especially since people didn't really have their attention set on anything.

"Damnit Kaiba, you a**...if you wanted to do this all by your stupid self, why the hell invite us then? Idiot." Joey growled and then saw that his dragon landed beside him, its large red eyes glaring as well but more towards the blue eyes then its master.
At hearing Atem, the blond turned to him, "No problem pal, we stick together, ne?" he grinned and then petted his dragon's head.

Seto snorted and rolled his eyes. He ignored the brat. He really could care less what a nobody thought of him. Infact he didnt care what anybody thought of him. He glared at Atem and ignored Joey as well just to piss Joey off. His dragon flew off into the sky since its job was done.
Sam sighed and rubbed her forehead. Already he was causing fights. But he was her big brother so she would choose his side. So she glared at the others who opposed him.
Virtual Alister smiled after hugging his brother and apologizing to him and asking him if he was ok. "Thank you all. I'd be honored to escot you to the palace. You'll be rewarded with a feast of course." He said cheerfully.

Atem glared back at Seto seeing he would not even speak to him. Sam too glared with him, at everyone who was yelling at him. He glared back at her too, then grunted a bit- turning his head away from both Kaibas. He looked at Virtual Alister, wait there were two? During this whole situation, he didn't even notice there were two of them. The one who thanked them was dressed differently then before. Did Kaiba put a version of Alister into the game? Who else did he put in? Atem was ready to go to the next part of this game.
Akiko looked at everyone, it was like a glare fest. She sighed, glad she wasn't part of these malfeelings. She looked at virtual Alister and asked curiously, "What's in the Palace?" They might as well know why they are going somewhere. She noticed the tokens the guy got before- he said something about doing events and getting them. She smiled, maybe if she can figure out the next even she could get some tokens for winning it. Haha, she hoped- her chances were small since there were a lot of people here.

"Well, to the palace, then," The blonde said as she watched their monsters return from destroying the birds. Alister nodded in agreement, his gaze focused on the two reunited brothers with some irritation building now that the battle was over.
Kaiba was completely disrespecting him by creating a copy of himself and Mikey. Not to mention, his virtual counterpart was mostly useless. He hoped the other man could even get them to the palace.
Meanwhile, Amira took one glance at her younger sister in a deep conversation with another girl. She knew the others were far away by now, but if she hurried, she could easily catch up. "I'm going to see where everyone's headed, The red-haired teen decided aloud, "Don't stay too late out here."
Amira raced in the direction the others went, hoping she could find them before they moved again. The last thing she needed was to get lost, and in a virtual forest at that.
Ouka watched the group as they conversed with the virtual chatacters, panting for breath as she recovered from the run. She wasn't used to activities in the real world, and such seemed to shine through even in the game.

"Hey! Don't ignore me, moneybags...you know damn well I'm right." Joey growled when seeing Seto ignoring him, he narrowed his eyes and then huffed. "Jerk," the blond said and went towards Atem, of course not before grabbing his sister's hand and keeping her close.
The Red Eyes growled softly and then flapped its huge wings a few times, then it took off into the sky until its master summoned him once more.
