Hannah walked in the smoothie stored and smiled at Leroy. "Hey Leroy!" She smiled.
"Hey! My favorite customers have finally arrived." Leroy came around the counter and pulled Hannah aside. "Hey, I heard about Jeremy. I'm sorry. You ok?" She smiled and nodded. "Alright if you need anything just ask."
"Thanks Leroy." He nodded and turned to the others.
"Your booth is opened and I guess everyones usual?" He asked.

"Hey Leroy, I would like my usual of course!" He smiled and laughed sitting down at their booth.

Hannah sat in the booth and looked at Leroy. "Yeah, my usual sounds good."
"Alrighty, be right back." Leroy went behind the counter and came back with their smoothies. "And what about you two?" He asked Ryan and Adella.
Hannah sipped her Strawberry Kiwi smoothie and looked at all the signatures in the table. The four of them had carved their names in the table the summer they started middle school. She smiled at the memories.

Liam took a sip of his citrus smoothie and stared at Hannah. "So, why were you so nervous?" He smiled at her. "You thought I forgot huh? I know you were nervous."

Hannah looked at him while sipping her drink. Was I that obvious? She thought.
"I wasn't nervous." She lied. "Why would you think I was nervous?"

"Now you just said one of the sure-fire things that confirms you were nervous!" He tried his best to mimic her voice. "I wasn't nervous, why would you think I was nervous?" He laughed a little at his horrible impersonation. "Anyway, if you don't want to tell me I will respect that."

Hannah smiled. "Good then I won't tell you. And that was a horrible job of mimicking me. You need be more higher pitched."

He laughed even more. "Well, I am a guy! We can't go that high!" He smiled at her and took another sip of his smoothie.

"Hence why you should never mimic a girl." She took a tip of her drink and grabbed a napkin. Out of habit, she began to tear it into little pieces.

Liam watched her as she tore up the napkin. After a while he pointed to the ripped up napkin. "I have always wondered, why do you do that?"

Hannah shrugged. "I don't know. It's just out of habit." She took one and crumpled it up before throwing it at him. "Plus I can do that." She smiled.

Hannah tried to hide her smile. She dramatically clutched her chest. "Now Liam I am shocked that you would eva think that a little ol' lady like me would eva start anythin." She said in her southern accent.

"Old? You think your old? Aren't I older than you?" He laughed picking up the crumpled paper and threw it back. "Haha! Nice accent by the way."
