David ahd been ready for that, after all the pain always forced the body into sleep. He grabbed the bucket and tossed 3 gallons of ice cold water into Shays face. "You're welcome!" He said with a irnoic voice, he needed to get her angry cause it would get her awaken. Well the cold shower awake her unless she was comepletly exhausted.

Shay's gasp was almost a scream as the ice water flew into her face, soaking and drencing her. Shivering violently, she smiled. "Thanks." And then she punched him on the shoulder, "a**." she hissed out, yet laughed.
Yet as she shivered, it made it harder on the Doc to stitch her neck up... not to mention the cold made her a little more sleepy. It was like a boosted wake up, yet after the high was gone. All that was left was the tiredness you had before. But she continued to fight off the sleep.

David just smiled and thougth about keeping this up. every 10 seocnd he could toss a buckety, yet with a fast calculating there was no way. He had not the ability to move that amount of water on his own. "You should sit still and not punch in your condition!" He waited for the doc to be done and walked outside to wait for her to come. They needed to get out of this place now, there was no other way. "You coming slow-poke?"

Shay laughed at David's reply, yet she was touched by his concern. She was everytime.
As the Doc and him walked out of the room, Shay slowly put her shirt on better. David's comment had her swiftly turning around with a glimmer of defiance in her eyes. Yet she smiled and slid of the sit, "I'm coming, I'm coming speedy."

He just laughed and walked over to the horses. "We ain't stopping until we're home, hun! That's the rule!" He laughed as he jumped on his horse with a swing. He knew she would be coming to, after all she was a hunter. He started to ride towards the doctors tent with both horses. "Through the portal and home, then I'll hunt some demons!" He had this all planed and he was a bit ashamed, but it was for the best.

She looked up at him, "Hon...? Rules...?" The first word caught her off guard, but she quickly regainned her sense's and got on the horse... after she patting and softly whispering hello and words of gradute him first. After getting situated on the horse, she looked over at David and smile weakly. A bit sore and tired from the situation they both were in, she sighed heavily and hoped everything was going to be alright. "Gosh I'm aweful tired. Would you mind carrying me after we're through the portal, that is if I don't fall from my horse... but take me to a local Inn, take me a bath and then put me to sleep or out of my misery." She teased yet she seriously meant every word she said. She kind of hoped he'd stay with her until they both could hunt together, yet she kinda figured he'd leave her. Once a loner, always a loner. Yet she couldn't help but adding, "I kind of hoped you'd stick around for awhile until I healed up at least." Unclenching hope clung from her eyes, as she waited for his answer.
((Gosh I'm sorry! I'm worse then you... but hell alot of crazy s**t has happened to be in the last month you wouldn't believe.))

Dammit, she knows what I want so why does she do it so hard? She's in danger here as long as that demon is alive. He already knew what he needed to do had to wait. Her spell upon him was far to powerful. not to mention the fact that she said she was to weak to ride herself and that what why he had to follow her. He planned on stopping just ahead of the portal letting her take care of her self but now a change of plan. He took Shay's horse with him as he started. Soon both vanished through the portal.
